  • Looks like Ryanair. Says Ryanair. But not all things are as they seem. Founded in 2019, Malta Air was founded as a joint venture between Ryanair and the Maltese government. What's it like to fly this subsidiary that is growing exponentially and has more 737 MAXs than Ryanair itself? Let's find out on this flight from Malta to Bologna.
I paid $76 for the one way ticket.

4:40, that makes American’s “Oasis/ Kodiak” economy seats look luxurious

Ryanair seats are relatively comfortable, not any worse than Lufthansa, TAP, Austrian, SWISS, etc.. in my opinion

Nah Ryanair’s seats are vastly better than AA Oasis, and especially the new Recaro seats that TAP, BA, KLM have

I booked Ryanair from Trapani, Sicily to Rome one way and it says Malta Air. Yes the fare with the suitcase came to 160 Euros / $175. However we paid 15 Euros for extra legroom.

I flew one of these planes from East Midlands to Bergamo and back. Not bad.

seat pitch IS NOT, REPEAT NOT, a measure of legroom. It all depends on the seat & the seat back to be precise. New slimline seats give you more leg room at same pitch.

Since Brexit some Ryanair planes are British registered with a "G" registration instead of the usual "EI" reg.

Not on this particular aircraft. Some have it, and some don't, as they've only recently started being rolled out.
