I have to honest. There are so many trainers on social media in nowadays, with excellent content one has to narrow it down when it comes to choosing a new one to follow. My barometer is body type. Do I want my body to resemble this persons. Your lower body is too skinny, no butt, no quads, calfs or hamstrings. I'm guessing your diet isn't conducive with muscle growth. Anyway, whatever's going on it's not enticing. Just my opinion. Be well and prosper.

@@peoplebeforeprofit 🤦‍♀️ this is such a short sighted comment. I hope anyone reading this (esp those with similar body types and the young and impressionable) can see past this comment. The information in this video is amazing and so are the rest of her videos. In fact I've shared a lot of Cori's videos with my daughter as she has a slender body type too and I never want her to feel a/shamed for it. I teach her to embrace her amazing body as we come in all different sizes and shapes. We use some of these videos to help her achieve greater strength towards her volleyball goals.

Glad you like the video. And fitness is always about ability, not about age. I have clients at 20 who can't do moves in this and clients who are 79 doing them all. That's why, with the airborne lunge, I talk about using a block or pillow to reduce the range of motion or even holding on ;-) We always need to vary moves to fit our needs, but we should not ever let "age" simply be the deciding factor.

    • @stevemarch939

Excellent. I like the exercises, the way and depth to which you explain them, and the multiple camera angles. If I could give one tip, it would be to include a graphic at the end or beginning with the list of exercises and your suggested workout plans for them. Perhaps a label on screen for each exercise when you're demonstrating them might help too, for people like me who'll rewatch the video while trying the workout and skip through parts.

I don't believe in age related fitness videos to be honest. I feel fitness is about ability. And I have 30 year olds who can't do burpees while some of my 70 year olds can. So while we want to recognize changes with age, we should never limit ourselves based on an age. Modify to fit your current fitness level and needs using the variations and tips :-)

Is there anyone else that is older like me? 55+ I was able work thru most of these exercises. I had great difficulty doing the mountain climber turkish bridge even with the modification on the bench. Nevertheless, I'm going try and keep this as one of my routines. Except, for now I'm doing a low spiderman plank instead. It's strange that the push up row is almost easy but, I don't seen to have enough upper body strength for the mountain climber exercise. I like the challenge I'm going to get there.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing different variations and modifications for each exercise! I appreciate that so much. I was told last year that I have bone on bone arthritis in my knees. And degenerative discs and arthritis in my back. It was such a painful thing to be told. I was baffled. I thought those things only happened if you injured yourself. And I hadn't been in an accident or anything that I thought would cause those things to happen. Both my spine Dr and my orthopedic says it's ok for me to work out. I was only told to let pain be my guide and if something hurts to modify it if possible. Here's the thing though. Some days getting out of bed hurts. But I still do it. It just may take a little longer though. My orthopedic showed me my xrays and you could actually see where there was no cushion (for lack of a better word) on the sides of both of my inner knees. My orthopedic recommended doing as many exercises to strengthen the inner thighs as I could find. He also said that what he's doing with me is trying to put off surgery (knee replacement) as long as possible. I've gone through and completed physical therapy. Your videos give me so much inspiration. I am so appreciative of that. So again, thank you 🙂

Hey, love the content you produce but I've a question about the row for the push ups. I know you are trying to show exercises without equipment but you don't have any resistance like you do on the pushing section. All I can see is you lifting the arm so you're in a 3 point plank and therefore working the core. Squeezing the shoulder blades to engage the upper back might be good for posture and mobility but I can't see how that would make you any stronger.

you gave me a great idea to put all 5 moves into a continuous non stop combo, each move done once and switching to the other as 1 flow.

Hey great tips as always but I am flat footed and despite great shoes I still have balance challenge with airborne lunge or pistol lunge how to go around that? Waiting to hear from ya. Love

I'm the same. Flat footed and while I can do normal lunges, jumping lunges and squats without any issues (and love them!) I can't do this properly. Not sure if it even makes sense to do these if the way my body is aligned will prevent me from doing them...?

I been trying to figure out a personal routine where I can put on head phones, and workout without depending workout dvds. Thanks for the tips !
