In today's exploration we venture inside this abandoned squatter home. Once owned by an Asian family, the home was bought out from them by a developer. Its seems that a squatter moved in some time later and created what I can only call a creepy and slightly disturbing room in the house!

My empathy tells me this squatter once had a family. The child and mom/wife died in a biking accident (hence the bike wheel on the child's dress). The two dresses are theirs, and reminders of them to this squatter. I think this man couldn't deal with the grief of losing his family, and turned to drugs, and eventually that lead to homelessness. This room doesn't give me creeps, it makes me sad
Edit: I also think that's the mother's car keys hanging, part of the memorial

Creepy vibes here Noah. Watch your step. That tile in the bathroom was the funkiest I have ever seen. Colors remind me of a Rubbicks cube.

That room next to that crazy tiled bathroom, I'm pretty sure that was the laundry room, the dryer vent was still hanging in the corner and that black pipe was the washer drain.
Did anybody else notice, that bathroom door was upside down, lol
That Vintage TV, like found in this house, they're actually fairly sought after by collectors and hard to find in good condition, since so many people think it's fun to smash them and copper thieves ripped them apart as well.

Good lord dude...wainscoting is not from "the 80's." And THAT wainscoting is totally the wrong size. They just bought a pile of Home Depot planks and slapped them up.

Some social commentary. I think there's a reason why alot of active channels of this kind are based in Canada. Even the transients are nice enough to not tear all the copper and entire heating systems out of these places. It has to be ideal for squatting. Unwanted attention generally isn't drawn to the properties, because scrappers aren't there taking everything that isn't nailed down. Then it seems like in the states, the vandals show up like clockwork until the place is finally condemned. That place could sit almost indefinitely, provided it isn't torn down for new development and the outliers of society don't draw attention to it. Thanks for coming to my seminar

A combination of decorative boards or panels and moldings that extend partway up a wall’s face, wainscoting is a centuries-old marriage of form and style. Dating to the 1300s, the Dutch used it to shield the bottom half of plaster walls from such hazards as jostled chairs, spurs on riding boots, perhaps even carelessly swung scabbards still in use now of days.

That is an odd room with all the newspaper on the wall.
The first thing that comes to mind at the sight of this bathroom is Tetris.
Overall, it is a very strange property.
The wood paneling looked pine. I had it in my house when I was 1, I'm now 57.
It's called knotty pine from the 50's. Thicker than paneling used today. No longer can be purchased.

Looks like the squatter died because the coats are covered in mold, unless he wears them that way. I would have run as soon as I saw his stuff, just in case he was still around.

homeless dont usually leave stuff behind especially that bike so id say they were still there hiding or they were arrested and they were using that cleaned room and the kitchen as there living HQ better then the streets in downtown Toronto ,, and id say there was a 12Volt battery and inverter in the box iin the corner with that lamp hooked upto it
