マーティ脱退後、デイブ、マーティの２人が揃うライブなんて観られないんじゃないかと思ってました!
約30年前、大阪城ホールのチケットが取れて楽しみにしていたのですが観る事が叶わず。でも今回、自分は直接観る事は出来ませんでしたが来日してくれ、マーティと演奏してくれたMEGADETHに感謝!tornado of soulsのソロは多分人生で初めて涙が出たギターソロです。
それ以降マーティ、MEGADETHが大好きな50代のオッサンです!😄

marty is just like eddie van halen where lots of people can play his stuff, but you can just hear plain as day when it's not actually him playing. there's just such a distinct nuance to how he plays. it's not just the bends and vibrato. it's how he shreds (I know he hates that term), but also lets the solo breath and soar.

I dont think so. With three guitarists thrash guitar parts become sloppy which is poison for this style. Every guitarist has it's own timing.
