Charlie wasn't soft or bending over for Hollyweird. One of the funniest storytelling comedians in the business. He didn't get his true props, severely underrated. In my opinion, he was a lot funnier than Eddie. To label him a "thug" is way out of pocket. Hollyweird, tried limiting his success by typecasting him as a thug , but the man was talented, brave, and about family! I've never heard of him being embroiled in any scandal.
