Si Bheag (fairies of the little place), Si Mhor (fairies of the big place). Until recently the existence of the fairy folk was taken for granted in Ireland - and still is, even now, in some places.

A beautiful version of this tune.
Sí Bheag Sí Mhor ( Little fairy fort Big fairy fort ) is together with Tabhair Dom Do Lámh ( Give me your hand ) probably the two best liked pieces of traditional irish harp music.
Sí Bheag Sí Mhor was written by Tourlough O'Carolan a blind harpist in the late 1600s and describes a conversation between two fairy hills, ancient burial sites. I'm used to it being played slightly faster but this is a wonderful rendition of one of my favourite tunes. Thank you.
