Yup, love this combo for glassing, filming and field photos, always keep it strapped on the outside of my reckoning and can deploy it in seconds. Keep the good info coming guys!
You bet! Thanks for watching!
I looked on Amazon after this video and bought the sirui travelers vc carbon fiber tripod. Not the same model as yours I guess but it does and looks exactly like this one.
This guy always looks like he’s been tokin the reefer 🤙🏻
pro tip : watch series on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Adriel Derek Yea, I've been watching on Flixzone for since november myself =)
Love mine and haven't felt like I needed something better. By the way, it also comes with a stubby center column if someone wants to get really minimalist with the thing.
Great point David, that is another cool feature! Thanks for watching.
Question! I have a set of Swaro SLC 15s, what do you need to mount the binos to the head? Any links would be appreciated!
How would I attach an outdoorsmans bino adapter to this tripod?
How to mount a Gopro 10 on this tripod ? kindly advise
I’ve been into birdwatching, general nature watching with my spotting scope. Can anyone recommend a good tripod that is stable in wind?
What plate to use for holding a rifle?
Thanks for the review
Has anyone tried the T-004SK? I am seeing it has similar specs it is just aluminum. It is heavier and has a smaller weight capacity however on a budget I can spend more on HD glass with a smaller objective and save a lot more weight there. Any thoughts?
What is a good bino adapter for this tripod got the leupold binos bx2
The GOAT Cody yelled at me when I ordered mine 😆🤫and corrected me that Sirui is pronounced “Suray” I love mine anyway
He wouldn't know :)
(Sigh-roo-ee) 😂

Can this mount to a Leupold sx-2 alpine hd?
Great looking Tripod!
It really is!
trail been doing good work
Trail is a beast!
Do why didn't you mount the rifle on the tripod to better get your point across to communicate your point of its versatility.
Love mine! Only complaint is the handle length on the head being way to long
A hacksaw will fix that.
Can you add your thoughts on using it as shooting support? For me, it’s a must for my set up to pull double duty.
I actually run this exact set up and yes I use a shooting saddle that mounts to an extra base plate so I can slide on a shooting saddle asap and make my shot. But if you are wanting it to mount directly to your rifle I have not tried anything like that. I just use a U-shaped saddle on a base plate. I took two deer this year off of the tripod. Is it the best tripod out there? nope. Is it pretty damned good for the $ - yup.
@@Joel_Unbound What shooting saddle do you use and where did you get it?
@@ericdetwiler4924 Vanguard U-Yoke. I dont remember where I got it but they are around at sporting goods spots and their own website. www.vanguardworld.com/products/u-yoke
How would I find an adapter to fit both this and my binos? Am I overthinking it?
Hey Conner, thanks for reaching out. Our optics experts would love to help you out with any questions you may have and provide some excellent recommendations. Shoot them an email at optics@gohunt.com and they will get you taken care of. Best of luck this season!
My center post won’t go back down. I’ve unlocked the twist knob but it won’t slide back down. Any thoughts?
Buy a leofoto.
Is this able to mount the Leupold Mark 4 spotting scope or do I need some sort of adapter?
Hey Tim. Yes, the plate that comes with this tripod has the ability to screw into the Leupold Mark 4 spotters
@@GOHUNT thanks!
I have this tripod but I thought that va-5 head only advertises at 6.xx lbs of old on it? That’s why I have kept the ball head cause I want to mount my rifle to it or am I wrong there ?
I believe the VA-5 in underrated at 6.6lbs. However, if you are going to mount a rifle on it I would do so at the magazine or action for better balance. I would NOT forearm mount the rifle! If you forearm mount you must support the butt end of the rifle. That will put too much on the head and tripod. If your rifle is a sporter weight(7-9lbs) rifle you will be fine. Anything over 10lbs I would be hesitant.

Ok cool, thanks for the reply
It'll work, just very poorly
Can you shoot a rifle from this tripod?
Stable enough to shoot from w/ARCA Rail?? TY!
Legs must be level and it'll stress but will work in a pinch. You'll hate hate it when you get a real tripod with 36mm legs
Any recommendations on a 36 mm setup?
Take my money
$300?? Way better options...
What other models would you recommend?
