A lot of people say that Juncker wasn't elected: he was elected in Luxembourg. As the leader of the party that won the most votes during the European Parliament elections, he became head of the commission. You can compare it to the way Cameron was elected in the UK: only a handfull of people in his own district voted for him. But his party won the election and got him into power. (and no, I didn't vote for him. I voted for a party that supported one of his opponents: doesn't make him anyless democratically elected.)
Finally we won't see Farange anymore.
Finally my taxes will stop going to the corrupt anti-democratic EU.
What are you saying? You will continue to make contributions, but you wont receive investments in return and you will even lose your voice in how that money will be spend LOL
finally no more cartel lobbies or gangster regulations
You're absolutely right Stephen, they'll go to vile xenophobes and hate-mongers such as Farage and Johnson instead.
Enjoy your isolation..........
Gatto, you liberals will call anyone you dont agree with racist, xenophobe, sexist, bigot, hateful, etc. etc. Do you realize how little those terms mean now that you have used them so carelessly? How about you come up with an actual argument instead of assuming people didnt have genuine economic and security concerns.
Magnifique réaction de Juncker!
Juncker montre une fois l'intolérance et de la stupidité
+MJODENG Not a fan myself of the EU but you'd better ask yourself about all the lies told by Farage and his friends...
Not a fan of EU? Then surely you will find the answer yourself
+carrnil Of course, lies are better.
+carrnil Voter pour les fachos en Europe, on a déjà vu ce que ça a donné...
Farage is still there because someone has to switch the lights off when the whole thing shuts down
..
it won't, for sure. but hey, maybe little britain will ask in a few years to come in again. I'm curiouswhat your parliament will vote for considering a "maybe-dissolution" of the Uk afterwards.
Seen the speech of the scottsman in Parliamant today? Northern Ireland isn't lucky too too leave the Eu. Standard an Poors downgraded you once and will continue to do it as long as noone knows what your future will bring you. Maybe it will be better to use your brains instead of listening to populist speeches. When you wanna change the system, do it from inside!!!!!!!!

yip and its lights out for Europe
+Daniel Clesse "it won't, for sure."
It will, for sure. Globalist superstates are recipes for disaster, especially when they're owned by Jewish banksters.
***** Listen man enjoy not having democracy, enjoy the multi-cultural experiment your involved in, I wish Europe the best of luck I really do, but it will collapse I promise you that, people like democracy Victor, we fought two world wars to ensure it.
Juncker shows himself as an amateur. He probably spent the weekend even more drunk than usual.
he cant speak proper
Unfortunately he perfectly represents Luxembourg.
I wonder how proper are your French and German
the best for Luxembourg, maybe.
MJODENG
He is embarrassing. He is a perfect example for your typical luxembourgish citizen. He may speak multiple languages, as people in Luxembourg like to take pride in, but usually they aren't very good at any of them.
The most peaceful era in Europe's long history (the EU era) might come to an end soon. Remember this and think about it in 10 years time from now.
+Just Sayan What about right versus wrong. Step out of the right/left paradigm.
it's just time! now merkel want create en UE army and they have an atomic bomb! i always like to be Europe, bur in every country there are nationalism and last time that happened this was in 1930 with the head in Berlin... the rest is history
Why is Jean-Claude Juncker there? Nobody in Europe voted for him.
The citizens of the great Duchy of Luxembourg voted for him and this earned him a seat in the parliament. Then that parliament chose him as the president of the EU commission. It is called representative democracy. Read about it.
So nobody voted for him.
+Juan Manuel Borrero - Yes, EU needs major reforms to prevent escalating discontent with the current corrupt system.
The question was *WHY* you giant papaya. Why does the EU operate on Chinese style indirect "democracy"?
Have you heard of the Spitzenkandidaten process?
Just some very funny paradoxes, since the Brexit vote :
1) More and more illegal immigrants coming from Central Africa or North Africa to UK.
2) Less and less, EU or European immigrants coming from EU or Europe to UK. As expected ! 😅
3) More and more UK immigrants, sorry UK expats, coming from UK to EU.
🤣🤩👍

@@stefanjager4131 lazy are we not
Well, nobody can just stop migrants from showing up in their coastal waters
Well done Jean-Claude Juncker! You teach him! It feels good, it's been a while since we had a real leader at the helm of the Commission.
No, he didn't teached him anything! He just embarassed himself!
No he didn’t. He insulted Nigel.
LOL. Everyone is laughing because they know that Nigel didn't really want to leave the EU. It was just a slogan that kept him elected and now it has backfired. Jean's comments were an indirect message to that. Sometimes politicians can be entertaining in a good way.
"Why are you here?, because I'm still in the EU and getting paid"
Hello? can we be friends?
Stupid question,to rub in you're face of course
Juncker shows once intolerance and stupidity
Juncker zeigt noch einmal Intoleranz und Dummheit
Juncker montre une fois l'intolérance et de la stupidité
Juncker dimostra ancora una volta l'intolleranza e la stupidità
Juncker toont eens intolerantie en domheid
Are you a moron? Farage's performance was shameful. He is single-handedly trying to destroy our economy.
such claims shows ignorance
No he's absolutely right!
why? so the people votes to leave, and then just pack your bags and leave? There has to be a lot arranged, in the benifit of UK and EU. That's why he is still there. And his salary ofcourse, but ok... you would do the same.
yeah, take all the time you need than leave please
Junker is not even speaking to Farage. He's speaking to whoever is shouting from the back.
Finally!!! Someone who actually realises that too. Nobody is commenting on that.
It just shows the true power of the media and how easy they can manipulate situations, when the video is there for all to see, yet most people who watch it don't even it see it.
The Truth My thoughts exactly.
The comments on this video are hilarious. Britain will get it wants and deserves.
Because it is so full of nice people like Mr. Farage that are so brilliant at negotiating?
***** Then you can search for that outside of trade deals with the EU.
***** slowest dream on
oh, It will get what it deserves, no doubt about it
it deserves better than this remoaner bore white flag waving and being told what to do is remoanerism,,,pfffft,
I agree with Juncker 100%. British, please, exit the EU as soon as possible. Nobody wants the enemy in the kitchen.
LoL, how stupid can one be, never read 1984 did you :P
I don't know why you feel free to insult me. I did not insult anybody. I'm from Spain and I really regret the Brexit referendum outcome because I think that we could better cope with all our problems together. BUT facts are facts, and now a slow exit can only add pain and troubles to those who will remain in the UE.
Next time, please, be more respectful.
palacio802 Well if you don't know what you're talking about, I have the obligation to tell you that you're wrong. The EU is a former NAZI plan, do your research.
2donnyblack2 Haha. I don't know what has this to do with what I'm saying. It's so simple. If you have decided to divorce, the faster the better. This is an universal law that everybody shold be able to understand.
They are not your enemy just because they disagree with you. And they said the European project was about peace! Article 50 gives UK the right to take two years in this process, once again the eurocrats are trying to bend the rules in their favor, just take our time and do this right.
he's absolutely right!
About what?
Alpha as fuck.
This Nigel guy really pissed in Juncker's corn flakes. What a hero.
I think farage was drank as usually.
and a lier but ok
Junker is also the dude that is callIng for an EU army.
Which is no different than a collective defence treaty (like NATO)
Very different because it's a collaboration between national armies that respond first to their national leaders and super structures.
Farage said he wanted a second referendum if the votes were going to be close as 48-52 in favour of remain well it was closer than that but in favour of leave, now he is not interested in a second referendum, you can not get more hypocritical than that, in hindsight more people would have voted remain as now you have Scotland and London and Northern Ireland who massively favour staying in the eu, well done farage, ukip, conservative leave camp, racists and not racists who wanted to leave for a possible break up of uk and eu.
why are any of them there really...
Process and relevant discussions is not a matter of the parliament rather than a bureaucratic one. Everything will take place behind closed doors and all required exceptions are about to be turned down.
This time Juncker is not drunk, he is on cocaine, right... dictator?
The Titanic
first one out wins
Considering how the Titanic was a British ship in your analogy it will probably be the Scottish.
First one out with a sea-worthy boat. What is UK's boat? London's City and the money laundering network of Cayman, BVI, Turks and Caicos, Gibraltar, Jersey? That sh*t will go down like a house of cards and you won't hear that clown's laughter in the background as you still hear it in this video.
Hear that? That's the sound of an echoing sound of a slap resonating off Wolfsangell's post. Well done.
Celtic Patriot Damn, man, you're right, but how about think about potential retorts when you post a comment? Building site and ownership are two different things. Who owned the ship?
+PfhUkJiu101 you made my day! great! 😂😂😂
hes there watching your every move and he aint leaving till hes sure were out of the nwo
I feel like most people seem to be thinking that Juncker randomly critiscized him, which is not the case, Farage was applauding in a sarcastic and unrespectful manner, basically making a bit of fun of Juncker, which is why Juncker then reacted like that. There's a reason everyone's applauding.
Juncker wasn't elected? Was your prime minister elected?
EU bureaucrats? Undemocratic.
Queen and House of Lords? Proud British tradition!
ahaha, nice one DARIF
dat burn !
clsman89 ...You are missing the point here, and it's this: yes, in fact, Junker has not been directly elected, that is, by the electorates, themselves, and also, it may have escaped some people's notice, that he is not a Prime minister either, or even any kind of minister, yet he, with Verhofstat as deputy, oversees, as EU commissioner, the making of all the legislation passed by the EU.
The Euro MPs elected and sent to Europe by the Electorates of Europe, do NOT make the legislation, As that is the way the EU is designed. So what this amounts to is now we have a commission, of appointed civil servants, not directly responsible to the public Electorates of Europe, making all the rules, while being presided over by the likewise appointed commissioner, who is, for all practical purposes, the de facto acting Prime Minister. It looks like Democracy was "designed out" from the start, rather than "designed in"...
...........
You
......
Fox Mulder Communist? You americans would call your entire neighbourhood that with how much you call each other names. It just doesn't mean anything to you.
He's there because we're still in the EU & we'll invoke article 50 when we're good & ready.
He is there because he wants his June salary.
Its not up to you anymore. You dont make the rules. You voted to leave and you will be out in less than 25 days. Fast track exit is already planned adn about to be implemented. Parliament already asked back accreditation cards of all British members.
You can't say you want out and then not go, out you go!
+Monsterous
It is entirely up to the UK when we invoke article 50.
Source on this '25 days fast-track'?
Last I read, Cameron won't be steering the ship, as he put it & it'll be the next PM who invokes it. So, October at the earliest!? Personally I'd be happy to wait until after French elections next year.
I love that the English want to be outside the EU without any of the regulations, but enjoying every positive deals.
Fuck you. That's not how this works. You knew the deal when you got in, you don't get to make up your own rules as you go.
Where is Jean Claude Van Dam when you need him? I'm sure he could fix all of these problems.
It's true. To see him give one roundhouse kick to the heads of ALL of these politicians would be heaven on earth.
wow so many UKIP supporters here...
The EU is looking angry towards Brittain because leaving the EU caused economical difficulties withtin Brittain and propably other European countries. But have we already forgotten what kind of recession we had and have to endure because of the installed EU-politics? Most European countries where doing fine before the EU-politics was installed! Most European countries where doing better than America based on economics and food protection laws! People within European countries are often living and eating more healthy than Americans. After the EU-politics where installed European countries just crashed economically! The economies of coutries like Spain, Portugal, Italy and Ireland suffered and many people within Spain became unemployed and even homeless. Other countries like Britain, The Netherlands, Belgium and France suffered as well economically. With TTIP America tries to get a tight grip on Europe! Lobbyists working for American multinational compagnies will buy their way into Europe like a virus. These lobbyists now have bring some multiple millions of euro's towards corrupted EU-lawmakers and this way they will destroy European food protection laws! America will be able so sell their cheap to produce trashfoods and other cheap junk within Europe are the European citizens will have no choise then to buy, use and eat it! Europe will become more dangerous and less healthy because of the corrupted superstate called the EU! Quality of life is more important than money!
I would like an update on this comment please ;)
You don't vote directly for Juncker for the same reason you don't vote directly for the British minister of education or justice: you elect your representatives and they choose the senior officials from their ranks. By the way, for a country that leaves the election of its head of state to genetics, I find that voting-mania quite difficult to believe.
Dear Leave Voters,
Some of you constantly brag with the GDP of UK being the 5th largest in the world and UK being a huge export country. Both is true - for now.
What you missed: A huge proportion of "UK" goods are produced by foreign companies, often global companies. Austin Mini, Rolls Royce, Rover, even Cadbury: All owned by global concerns. So what will happen, if UK is not in the free trade zone anymore?
They will produce just enough of that goods in their UK-based factories to meet local (=UK) demand. That't wise, as then they don't have to pay import taxes for that goods being sold in the UK. But they will start producing the goods for the EU market in other (=EU) countries.
BMW will produce the Austin Minis in Portugal to avoid paying taxes for the exports. Siemens will produce the wind turbines to be sold in the EU in Denmark and Germany. Kraft will produce the Cadbury sweets in its Switzerland factories, except for the ones to be sold in the UK.
So instantly GDP and UK exports will deflate like a rubber boat being hit by a shotgun. I did not analyze the figures in detail (looking at which UK products are manufactured by mulitnational companies), but my educated guess is that exports from UK will halve.
So UK will find itself in a 14th place globally, behind countries like India and even Korea. Not a very comfortable position to negotiate favorable free trade agreements. The EU knows that (contrary to most of the leave voters). Your politicians know that.
So in fact, despite the twisted thoughts spread by morons like Nigel, it's quite simple: The EU does not need UK, but UK will bleed to absolute meaninglessness without having FTA with the EU.
Therefore UK's best choice will be to follow the Norwegian model: Accept free movement, accept nearly all EU regulations, pay into the common cash box, but have NO VOTE. So basically nothing will change for UK except for having no more voice in the EU.
Congrats! Well done!
Juncker just want to say that BREXIT is still an hypothesis, NOT A FACT.
"Don't count your chickens before they've hatched."
... Or Juncker will still laugh at you soon. LOL
Sorry
@@MrEnric98 Sorry for what ?
You just have to look at Jean-Claude Juncker and Martin Schulz and then you know why GB left the EU.
Just leave
We are still paying your wages, Mr Juncker.
He was there to enjoy the British Mega-Blunder.
Why are they applauding and booing in general during a political meeting? Its not a damn entertainment meeting like some X Factor or whatever.
He is at least polite in confront of Ferrage that act like a dictatorship.
Jean Claude, we are here because we had to be. We had do liberate Europe from people like your dad who fought for the Nazis on the Eastern front.
Nice one!
I don't think Junker is talking to Farage, he not seems applauding. Maybe with Farage's sostenitors or maybe the media are simply riding this story.
It was not for Farage, he even did not applauding!
This must have been very early in the morning....
Not publishing his response shows once again how biased your media is.
They did. Check the video feed for the channel. They do have a clip.
Guardian, you need to re-title your video, Juncker isn't talking to Farage. Listen to the "pleasure" at 0:37, it isn't Nigel.
IT`S TIME FOR JEXIT MR. JUNCKER. PLEASE GO!
He is a elected MEP and that is democracy.
He was there for his last Euros in his account
Except it wasn't
Lots of us here in the UK still wonder why Mr Farage is still here !
We thought he'd promised to leave the UK if Brexit didn't work out as he expected ?
Scottish Independence Now
Why is Juncker here?
Why are the all here? to fill their pockets and realize nothing at all. The European Parliament has no reason to exist.
RIP Britain.
Juncker is arguing with and pointing to someone sat higher up in the auditorium. Farage is sitting right next to Juncker.
So, a bit misleading this.
2 years later. The UK is still here... 🙄
many countries will follow.
It has benefitted the Economy of the UK!!!11!eleven!1!!
Well it's obvious Farage is keeping a eye on you
They could probably save Greece's economy by selling all that salt.
"Pleasure!"
Wow he looks so sad and depressed. Throwing a tantrum just like a jilted lover.
0:15 That's the last time you are applauding here. Ha ha ha, they must of touched a raw nerve i love when a globalist can't get their own way "they get bitchy".
I'm sorry guys, we let you down.
Same
why are you here lol.
is he serious I don't believe me or anybody else voted junker in!
leave this guys alone. the majority oh brexit voters here doesn't understand sarcasm. oh well, we forgot they're the 'uninformed' fools who drag down the uk
+Victor Cavin meanwhile people know exactly who's the party leader and so who they get, elected allright.
The problems in the uk are with the house of lords.
Over the commission people have no controle whatsoever. There's no transparency and way to much power involved, start educating yourself please.
The eu is failing increasingly with time and it's only common sence to leave. Time for a healty trade union and no more political corruption above our national level.
And no more harmonisation bs, man the trouble that has caused. .
Who voted your PM in again?
Its almost like the UK:
Leader of biggest Party becomes PM / EC President, but Parliament MUST agree to him and all commissioners. The PM and her Ministers dont need the approval. And they can be removed.
Why is Juncker there? Who voted for him? LMFAO
People? never heard of euro elections?
The heck is this guy's problem.. clearly they were clapping showing gratitude for his respectful words.. And so he gets offended lol?
RUclips DOES NOT WANT EVERYONE TO SEE THIS !
Quite right, why? If voice of the people means anything. Article 50 would have been implemented as promised, instantly. Waiting causes only economical harm to both parties. Thou this was not about EU but UKs inner vote, working class voting against elite. Class society, it can only go so far in unions.
The lack of specific information in the comments section is astonishing. Mainly english people talking without a basic knowledge of the election mechanisms inside the Eu.
A multinational union of states such as the EU needs to have a more complex body of regulations and mechanisms, and as citizens we have to understand them before sharing our opinion with others and especially before voting. For Accurate information check europa.eu/eu-law/index_en.htm . Don`t vote if you don`t understand what you`re voting for.
The man is a Legend! Well said Juncker well said!
Yes Nigel, Why are you still here.
The exit is by this way, please go away :)
Djezon okay Nigel would already be gone if u let Britian leave on 29-03-19 but u dont. u give more and more extention. And who knows u will give Britian more extension after 31 October 2019.
I do not like to speak in metaphors or generalities or value judgments -- I prefer theories and facts -- but, wow, THIS IS UGLY. I am worried about the near future of the dysfunctional world that we have slopped together.
Mr junkhead He's there to make sure people like you don't get away with walking over the democratic wishes of the people. Because he knows your undemocratic form perfectly
The guardian isn't worth the paper it's printed on 😏
Um grande homem e um grande presidente um luxemburguês exemplar na vida
Bravo mr. Juncker!!!
This video it's great.
I think if Britain choose to leave they taking so much time to do it! I don´t give a damn about Britain, they can keep their Queen and country but I´m solely concerned about the turmoil it can generate. Brexit is typical brit, no surprise...
Juncker is drunk as always
It's funny how clueless the Bremainers are. The USA is not in a political union but still has free trade with Canada and Mexico, South Korea. Japan is not in a political union but you still see loads of Toyota and Hondas everywhere in the world. Switzerland is not in the EU but has more foreigners as a % than the UK.
So you want privilege w/o duties. I think it's better GB GTFO.
Farrage never put any solution on the table for all those years just leave leave leave. Well you left now you will be in better position to negotiate indeed :D
To laugh at you, obviously. Cry more :D
Kudos for Juncker! If you are so much so passionate about closing borders and having your own legislations etc., just go ahead and do it! You are in your freaking country and no one cares about it!
Britain: "We want to leave"
A day later.
Britian: "But...but...but....not nooow."
Hilarious.
To see what you buggers do next!
He was there to demonstrate his lack of class and gloat. He said they weren't laughing at him now - because it's all about you isn't it Nigel?
Hello? can we be friends?
Danke, Jean-Claude Juncker für Ihre deutliche Ansprache an die nationalistisch Verirrten!
He is like Jean Claude Van damme of Eu haha
After the Brexit it's time to speak German in EU parliament. Sorry, Nigel. ;-)
To have a good old-fasioned gloat!
He needs his salary.
Juncker to Farage why are you here? Farage I bring to you a Scotch whisky
He’s still here because at the time of this speech the UK is still on the EU and Farage is still an elected representative.
This just show how spiteful they were back then (and still now).
Nigel Garage, the secondhand car salesman.
He's an elected MEP, but then I wouldn't expect Junker to understand the concept of democratically elected representatives.
95% of people in this room lobby for big banks and corporations
The salt is real.
Please EU, don't be bitter. Us Britbongs got carried away and made a mistake. Pls let us back in your club so we can bitch, moan and complain about you. We have nothing left to do ever since the BBC took Top Gear away from us. You need to understand.
Because Britain is still paying the entrance fee that's why. Once you stop cashing our cheque we will leave.
I believe that an EU without the UK can be stronger .
Why do I hold this view?
I think that the British are not, at heart, Europeans. It is a fact that the two major political parties, Conservative and Labour, are internally divided about their place in Europe. This has always been the case. I recall that when Winston Churchill spoke about the United States of Europe, he excluded the UK from his proposal. It is better for the EU not to have a member which is ambivalent and conflicted and which wants to be half in, half out.
Let the UK seek a new future outside the EU. Let the EU of 27 renew its faith in itself, reinvigorate its economy, narrow the gap between winners and losers and reduce the bureaucracy of Brussels.
I think everyone agrees on that (that UK has nothing to do in the EU anymore). Even the priviledges they had in the EU was indecent. They made it clear that every close collaboration will be seen as a despotic move against their sovereignty
The problem is that they obviously will take their sweet time, even if it means bothering twenty seven countries. EU wants to move on, but UK again, is not helping, self centered, as usual
+mcabronito It is sad to see UK ended the referendum more divided than they started
dng625 Maybe... I hope it might show other countries that the topic of making such referendum isn't without consequences...
