It's just as valid as 001 as The Factory, the only difference being that the factory is the reason the current foundation was made in the first place.
TheVolgun How so? The Factory's origins itself is still a mystery. It's some horrific sentient being, capable of producing ridiculous creatures and items that could either help or destroy. This is a great story and I'm glad it exists, and it's presented fantastically, but I'd like to go on record as being opposed in principle to any consensus or canonical explanation of where all these anomalies come from. Some things Man was simply not meant to understand.... because it would make everything a lot less spooky if he did.
Is he describing the start of the Foundation? I know I'm new here and all but, why am I just hearing this story? I only ask because, it's very similar to a story my father told me as a child...Hmmmm.....
I HAVE GOT A THEORY! _______ 7:37 Is that a reference to The scarlet kings and his seven brides? Is Anderson The Scarlet King? ~~~~ The Scarlet King destroys universes, and for some reason, he is unable to enter our universe. What if The scarlet king took form of someone called 'Anderson' and that was the only way for him to enter our universe. What if the Scarlet king/ Anderson created the SCPs' for his plan to be able enter our universe, he _made_ the factory? The factory might even be SCP-001 ___ He had 7 daughters/brides (SCP-231) who he impregnated (wtf) and most of the daughters/brides died while giving birth. (Some of their births even resulted in hundreds of deaths) SCP-231_7 is the final daughter/bride that remains. Supposedly, according to the SCP Foundation, if she gave birth, that would make the Scarlet King able to enter our universe, thus the end of our universe. (There is a unknown procedure that makes SCP-231_7 unable to give birth, thats a different story though ;-;) _____ When they killed Anderson (The scarlet King) he laughed, knowing he wasn't really dead, because he's (supposedly) the scarlet king. His damage was already done. ~~~~~ Sorry if that seemed stretched or something, I have a lot of ideas and theories and its really hard to explain them ;-;
The man BAndbro there is soooo many version/rumor/intel of 05 - 1 that there is no way we can know which one is real, some version said the he live since mid 1800 so its posible that hes over 180 Afterall god knows when will a man who hold the power of fountain of youth will die
Yeah, It did say that's what the founder's age was. So I don't know, but he was around since the 1800s so we know that, so somewere between 148-188 Who knows, thats just what I heard on there page.
That we DON'T see anything is what gives the scp idea such terror. To have a movie would trivialize it. What we gear most is not what is hard to face. But what is impossible to imagine while seeing the effects of the unimaginable.
To me it’s hilarious that a centuries old leader of a powerful and just as old foundation has said, in all seriousness “Blackmail is a dirty word” DIRTY WORD LIKE WHA YEAH ITS A BIG NO NO MEANY FACE I’m sorry this is too funny to me
Whilst this is amazing I personally prefer The Gate Guardian to be SCP 001 and here's why. It all comes down to the moment it tells The Administrator to "prepare". What it was referring to we still don't know. The fact that it also seemed to present a vision of when the gates of Eden opened and the cavalry charged forth is significant as what were they charging against? An alternate earth overrun by SCPs? It could be anything. Also its discovery date (I'm fairly sure) pre-dates the forming of the Chaos Insurgency or other Groups of Interest to the Foundation. If the other file "The Truth" on SCP 001 being the Corrution spreading through the Multiverse is to be believed then The Gate Guardian could have meant for him to prepare for the coming of the Corruption into our universe, our dimension. The mystery around it is why The Gate Guardian should be the true, original SCP 001.
If you don't mind - i would appreciate you sharing this if you like it. I did put a lot of effort into this :)

(acording to one version of the canon) One of them is an AI. One of them is using SCP-963-2. And one is an infinite loop of time travel. And number 13 doesn't exists. But yeah... SCP-006
Honestly I don’t know how I didn’t see this before. My favorite scp reader talking about my favorite proposal for 001
you honestly make me feel like you're going to kill me out of nowhere
i love it
I still love your stuff you make nowadays and same goes for The Explorer Series, but this is still one of my favorite things on RUclips that is SCP related to this day. Keep up the good work.
Great reading of my favorite SCP-001 proposal!
I've tried all the others's vids on The Factory and your voice still just fits it the best. Like an actual scientist, an actual researcher who has a lot to share about his past.
Even having read this SCP/tale several times on the site, it was still neat to hear your performance!
8 years later and TheVolgun is STILL the "go to" channel for all my SCP reads!!!
I just love how its voiced and this video deserves more views than it gets.
"factory workers where forced to work 16 hour days, only shutting down on sundays"
Japanese Salaryman - "oh really, you mean they got a DAY OFF, must be nice"
*Shamefru Dispray*
I was always under the impression that 001 was the thing the Foundation used to "reboot reality."
SCP 2000 was something similar to what you're thinking.
There's more then one SCP-001, the 05 said it himself that there are layers of SCP files to distract from finding out the truth. One of them being the angel with the flaming sword. It's just as valid as 001 as The Factory, the only difference being that the factory is the reason the current foundation was made in the first place.
TheCodemasterc Although, take into note that this story isn't canon, but rather a proposal. The official SCP-001('s) has yet to be confirmed.
BlueGeek
My point exactly, all the SCP-001's are equally as valid since there are all equally as cannon because there is no cannon.
@@TheCodemasterc now I'm just picturing a canon cannon; the cannon that just shoots facts at people lol
I think this is the beginning of not only scp but also dr wondertainment, the chaos insergency and the curch of the brokengod
Yeah, i love it. Although i've seen some people under the document saying that it takes away from the mystery, but i love the concept.
TheVolgun
How so? The Factory's origins itself is still a mystery. It's some horrific sentient being, capable of producing ridiculous creatures and items that could either help or destroy. Hell, it's not even responsible for most of the SCPs.
Also a bit off-topic, the Foundation sure loves implying disgusting stuff with little girls...
MugenScythe because those who left seeing power became the insurgency, those who saw profit became wondertainment and those who divinity became the curch
exceedcharge1 Profit was Marshall, Carter, and Dark. The main guy was even called Marshall in the story.
The CI? Dont you mean the GOC?
Sounds like you're doing a cross between Agent Smith and Carl Sagan. I love the voice!
Edit: This one is definitely 001 as far as I'm concerned. It would make a great stand alone book.
A soothing voice for a deeply disturbing story- love the passion in the each discription
From how often it’s said I think that it would be fair to say that “I’m not threatening you it’s a fact” should be the SCP foundation’s secondary slogan
I cant believe this is 6 years old. Brilliant work there mate!
so this is how the other groups were made as well! oh my shit!
TheVolgun
Out of all the SCP entrie for 001, I always come back to this one. I love VO a lot!
THE FACTORY IS IN FACT DISNEY CORPORATION!
THE FACTORY= IN FACT DISNEY
FACTORY= IN FACT
FACT= FACT CONFIRMED
N. o.
That Explains alot
More likely Amazon :´D
IT AINT DISNEY WITHOUT MICKEY
Getting a lot of "Agent Smith" from the matrix in your voicing of this one.... Mister... Anderson.
This is literally just a description of Amazon
This whole time I was half ready to hear him in this voice say, "Welcome, to the twilight zone."
Bethesda should make an open world agent game based on the SCP universe
You could have multiple characters so the protagonist wouldn't be just be an OP merry sue write in.
Do you honestly think that current day BETHESDA is capable of putting in that much work into an game? Wow.
Manoichan well, the comment was made 3 years ago, at the time probably.
Bethesda would just write off all the bugs as "features"
eww no, not after what they did to fallout.
they just write bug as anomaly xD
A foundry is where things are made, a foundation is where things are built upon. The "SCP Foundation" is some of the best wordplay I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Gods this is so damn meta
Anderson was Frankenstein on an industrial scale.
shit this sounds like something that would make a good amnesia survival horror shooter game. The emotion put into this is almost perfect. Keep it going man. SCP-264 out.
A breed of skeletal horse that ran faster than anything weve ever seen,
minecraft: WRITE THAT DOWN WRITE THAT DOWN
Holy shit! He threatened something worse then 110 montauk D:
I'm curious, what exactly is 110 Montauk?
pupp3tStudios No one knows for sure. It's one of those things kept purposely vague to let your mind fill in the blanks.
It seems like a major punishment. One of those "Erase you completely from existence" kinds...
Montauk procedure isn't what you all think about. There is a reading about it. The deal is, montauk procedure, the foundation wants everyone to think it is a gruesome procedure but if you get through the readings you will realize it wasn't.
Clue: it is reading a story so the beast inside scp 231 sleeps.
I really want to see movie about this
Why was this now recommended to me...
Is it weird that I find this guys voice so relaxing?
Is the dr.bright mentioned here the same dr.bright thats not allowed to certain things. Also the tone of this factory is more intimidating than scpreadings factory.
no, the Bright mentioned in this one 'Adam' would be Dr.Bright's Dad.
Wait wait wait....factory? What factory? I'm researching artifacts regarding a 'spiral path'....whew, well that's a relief you obviously have the wrong reser....*bang*
When I heard "Angel with a flaming sword" I thought they were talking about the garden of Eden.
They are.
They are: scp-wiki.wikidot.com/dr-clef-s-proposal
I have to say . I’ve stumbled across the entire scp world entirely on accident . And have consumed as many as I could the last week or so . It’s been very entertaining . And I would have assumed this was a newer entry as opposed to something that came out years ago .
Wow. The origin of the Foundation. And it all started with The Factory
But which is real?
+Austin Morrison technically its headcannon, none of them are the "real" 001 perse. its up to the readers interpretation.
+Austin Morrison The 'real' start to the scp foundation (the wikidot website itself) is from when SCP-173 got put on the internet and made famous. Then other people made their own SCP ideas. Eventually it lead/spiraled down to what we have now.
This is a great story and I'm glad it exists, and it's presented fantastically, but I'd like to go on record as being opposed in principle to any consensus or canonical explanation of where all these anomalies come from. Some things Man was simply not meant to understand.... because it would make everything a lot less spooky if he did.
this is as awesome as your other work X3 I would totally pay you for voice work
I knew SCP-001 would make the origin of the SCP foundation. This was great! Thanks!
Is he describing the start of the Foundation? I know I'm new here and all but, why am I just hearing this story? I only ask because, it's very similar to a story my father told me as a child...Hmmmm.....
Hmm, a little!
Basically, this Factory harbored some of the first SCPS encountered!
And therefor, the inception f the Foundation.
“Breeding pits” why is it always something related to rape with the fucked up scps
The old man is the one who took the cloak think u can figure out the rest
Andrew Fowl wait.. are you talking about 106?
Andrew Fowl
I swear because of Containment Breach the only SCPs everybody knows or cares about is 173, 106, 096, 046, etc.
Andrew Fowl it was Nobody
holy crap so his original officers where the founders of the different organizations, if what he says about their opinions is true, this is awesome
I HAVE GOT A THEORY!
_______
7:37 Is that a reference to The scarlet kings and his seven brides? Is Anderson The Scarlet King?
~~~~
The Scarlet King destroys universes, and for some reason, he is unable to enter our universe.
What if The scarlet king took form of someone called 'Anderson' and that was the only way for him to enter our universe.
What if the Scarlet king/ Anderson created the SCPs' for his plan to be able enter our universe, he _made_ the factory?
The factory might even be SCP-001
___
He had 7 daughters/brides (SCP-231) who he impregnated (wtf) and most of the daughters/brides died while giving birth. (Some of their births even resulted in hundreds of deaths)
SCP-231_7 is the final daughter/bride that remains. Supposedly, according to the SCP Foundation, if she gave birth, that would make the Scarlet King able to enter our universe, thus the end of our universe. (There is a unknown procedure that makes SCP-231_7 unable to give birth, thats a different story though ;-;)
_____
When they killed Anderson (The scarlet King) he laughed, knowing he wasn't really dead, because he's (supposedly) the scarlet king. His damage was already done.
~~~~~
Sorry if that seemed stretched or something, I have a lot of ideas and theories and its really hard to explain them ;-;
ANDERSON!!! I KNEW IT WAS THIS ONE!!! Had to listen again after the other SCP...
Good voice acting. Almost sounds like one of 'the agents' from The Matrix trilogy. As for Mr. Anderson...
This makes the universe more interesting
WAIT, HE MENTIONED ABLE! YUUUUUSSSS!
He said "Further digging will result in a lethal gunshot" and I literally just saw an ad for a game called dig master lmao
O5:1
How hold are you?
hollowosamudiamen id think he's at least 80
skinnny dick dom 80 ? IF O5 - 1 is still alive he would be well over 180 years old
He's 148, not 180.
The man BAndbro there is soooo many version/rumor/intel of 05 - 1 that there is no way we can know which one is real, some version said the he live since mid 1800 so its posible that hes over 180
Afterall god knows when will a man who hold the power of fountain of youth will die
Yeah, It did say that's what the founder's age was. So I don't know, but he was around since the 1800s so we know that, so somewere between 148-188 Who knows, thats just what I heard on there page.
Now, when i think about the scp's you've done voice overs for,
i imagine them with that voice
O5 took his liberties and had a significant amount of adulterous relationships with spouses of others.
Did I get that wrong?
That we DON'T see anything is what gives the scp idea such terror.
To have a movie would trivialize it.
What we gear most is not what is hard to face. But what is impossible to imagine while seeing the effects of the unimaginable.
Wouldn't it be awesome if the administrator was a SCP himself? Maybe SCP 000... Guess he is a SCP
Scp-i
there already is an scp 000, its an empty page but you cant highlight it to reveal text
"I doubt it" don't doubt the possibie.
To me it’s hilarious that a centuries old leader of a powerful and just as old foundation has said, in all seriousness
“Blackmail is a dirty word”
DIRTY WORD
LIKE WHA
YEAH ITS A BIG NO NO MEANY FACE
I’m sorry this is too funny to me
That was amazing ! Nice way to thread everything together
Wait how old is the founder
Yes
Emiliano Lopez all
Immortal
Old.
until recently I had never clued in to a lot of these files being from farther back in the past, it really adds to the mystique..
This was amazing. Your acting is top notch.
Anderson factory? Like the Anderson robotics company??
Woah. An *old* Volgun video!
