It mentions in the notes on his file that when not in his "aggressive state", he's a really reasonable guy, talking with researchers, sharing experiments, and all-around acting like an upstanding man of science. If a human were to ever get offered to him, minus the ASMR and a lack of accent (which has no particular origin) this is probably how they'd get treated.

TL;DR for those who did not read 049's article: He's a plague doctor guy with the following properties: 1. His clothing is not actual clothing, but rather a direct growth of his body, mask and all 2. He can kill instantly with a touch to the skin 3. He emanates an aura of fear at all times so everyone is rather afraid of or on edge around him 4. His prime driving directive is to 'cure' all those he deems infected with what he calls the Pestilence The 'cured' individual does not survive his procedure. He starts by touch-killing the patient. Then he goez in and does all sorts of doo-hickey that involves intense surgery that often rearranges the innards and body parts into disoriented jumbles. Along the way he also drains out all the fluids and injects new and weirder fluids using unspecified contraptions out of his Mary Poppins bag. The result of the procedure barely resembles the poor sap who walked into it and is essentially, as one scientist put it, a walking zombie vegetable. Albiet a highly dangerous and aggressive vegetable that only seems to play nice with 049 himself. 049 says that this individual is cured, but even he admits that the cure isn't perfect yet and he's still looking for improvements here and there. Oh, and Dr. Hamm got died because he confronted 049 about his cure turning patients into dead vegetables. 049 of course was triggered hard and forcibly carried out a 'cure' procedure on Dr. Hamm. This is what 049's passing remarks about japing refer to. Finally, it seems that lavender calms 049 down for some strange reason. Addendum #1 (Because there was some stuff I missed): SCP-049 keeps a notebook that is in a code that is so badly schronouqueled that it is impossible for anyone else to decipher it. Counterproductively, he still refers SCP staff to it when they ask about the Pestilence. 049 likes to dine on crackers and salted pork. How he does this is unexplained as his mask is literally part of his face. As of yet 049 has not specified any details about what the Pestilence *is* whatsoever. When asked about symptons of Pestilence, he merely waves it off saying that it can crop up in many shapes and forms and could show up literally anywhere.
Likely, lavender would calm him down because actual plague doctors used to fill the beaks of their masks with lavender (and other assorted pungent things) to protect them from the stench of dead bodies, and from inhaling the plague themselves.

Isn't the Doc actually super polite and chill though? Like he's not trying to just kill anyone and everyone. Unless you're his subject you should be fine to walk into his cell. TL;DR for those who did not read 049's article:
He's a plague doctor guy with the following properties:
1. His clothing is not actual clothing, but rather a direct growth of his body, mask and all
2. He can kill instantly with a touch to the skin
3. He emanates an aura of fear at all times so everyone is rather afraid of or on edge around him
4. His prime driving directive is to 'cure' all those he deems infected with what he calls the Pestilence
The 'cured' individual does not survive his procedure.
He starts by touch-killing the patient. Then he goez in and does all sorts of doo-hickey that involves intense surgery that often rearranges the innards and body parts into disoriented jumbles.
Along the way he also drains out all the fluids and injects new and weirder fluids using unspecified contraptions out of his Mary Poppins bag.
The result of the procedure barely resembles the poor sap who walked into it and is essentially, as one scientist put it, a walking zombie vegetable. Albiet a highly dangerous and aggressive vegetable that only seems to play nice with 049 himself.
049 says that this individual is cured, but even he admits that the cure isn't perfect yet and he's still looking for improvements here and there.
Oh, and Dr. Hamm got died because he confronted 049 about his cure turning patients into dead vegetables. 049 of course was triggered hard and forcibly carried out a 'cure' procedure on Dr. Hamm. This is what 049's passing remarks about japing refer to.
Finally, it seems that lavender calms 049 down for some strange reason.
Addendum #1 (Because there was some stuff I missed):
SCP-049 keeps a notebook that is in a code that is so badly schronouqueled that it is impossible for anyone else to decipher it. Counterproductively, he still refers SCP staff to it when they ask about the Pestilence.
049 likes to dine on crackers and salted pork. How he does this is unexplained as his mask is literally part of his face.
As of yet 049 has not specified any details about what the Pestilence *is* whatsoever. When asked about symptons of Pestilence, he merely waves it off saying that it can crop up in many shapes and forms and could show up literally anywhere.
Likely, lavender would calm him down because actual plague doctors used to fill the beaks of their masks with lavender (and other assorted pungent things) to protect them from the stench of dead bodies, and from inhaling the plague themselves.
