I remember pulling a "1 of 175" Carter RC (considered extremely limited in 1995) at a card show when I was 14 or 15. Word spread around the venue and all the dealers were trying to buy it from me but I was keeping it until he was inducted into the HOF and cashing in for big bucks. SPOILER ALERT: Things did not go as planned. 😂

He was remarkable. Could have been an all-time great if not for the bad luck injury. He never came close to elite level ever again Major draft bust and likely a significant reason no RB has ever gone #1 since

Ki-Jana was a good running back before he was injury-prone. He was a draft bust. He never rushed for a 1,000 yards per season or played a full season.
