In the mid 90’s I finished a 125A race with a broken collarbone. I should have just pulled off but I didn’t. Point is, most racers are wired different and a lot stronger than anyone thinks.
Motivation!! Such a cool dude too… if you see him at the track don’t be scared to say what’s up… he gave me couple pointers at state fair … keep the clips coming OG!!
After going down in a pileup in the first turn, I finished the race with a bad Colles fracture of my wrist….I knew it felt weird the entire race, adrenaline is a hell of a drug
im no doctor but i would imagine that after a break, more damage is likely to occur if you keep putting that appendage under stress. a professional athlete who relies on their body and health would make the right decision and pull off.
At that level in that position who wouldn't? Anyone that follows Ryan would do the same. Not have the same outcome, but would try. There's a point that everyone knows when there's zero chance of pushing on or quitting
Motivating and also scary. Not sure all young kids should try to keep going. Understand the adrenaline. Been there, done that. Still, further complications could arise, further damage... Should only be done when big money contract involved
duct tape ain't gonna fix a bad break, mild fracture can be taped but your probably going to make screws necessary, if not rods and traction. It doesn't take much to make a life long problem that will come to haunt you sooner or later when the pill mills shut down. Go hard or go home, send it bullshit, tough guy shit goes right out the window when your body parts is falling off and muscles are ripping themselves apart with spasms. You don't hear much about the bed pan time and tears from these guys, it's like they can't go into deep for mental or financial reasons, more young riders would gear up better if they knew exactly what's coming their way nobody seems to foresee.

Nice. That's dedication. I'd take the broken leg over my collarbone again . But he is definitely another level Most riders wouldn't
