Can't believe it's been that long. His dad was so great. It was a gut punch when he died for sure.

What I remember about Tim Russert is that he is a national treasure to NBC News as Washington Bureau Chief and moderator of Meet the Press

Tim Russert embodied all that's good in the world. That rainbow on the day of his service was so fitting for such a bright light in this world. Luke has all the warmth that his dad did.

Tim Russert was a great newsman. I loved watching MTP with him there. It was a great show. After he left us, MTP was never the same. Luke looks good.

True, but I like Chuck Todd. And as they say every Sunday, it IS the longest running program in television history.
Since the dawn of the medium in the 1940s. Close to seventy years now. And Tim Russert was a big part of it.

If conservatives would only read this book.... it can open their minds and hearts into a world of service and compassion and realize that selfishness means nothing in the world or trying to keep liberals from helping people , while you yourself don't want to help anyone but yourself , you don't realize help AMERICANS is much greater than you or being a Republican.

Luke had me in tears when telling the story of the title of his book! 🥲. I don’t normally tear up at things like that, but that was such a wonderful story. Tim seemed like the biggest teddy bear of a guy, and a great Dad. I wish Luke the best of luck on his continued journey….he seems like he’s as wonderful as his Dad ❤️.

When Tim Russert died, I went to the webpage for condolences. I wrote then, and still believe now, that I am a better citizen because of Tim Russert and his exceptional stewardship of Meet The Press. Take care and stay well, Luke ❤ 🌈

Tim Russert would be appalled by Trump, QAnon, The January 6th riot, etc. Tim was universally respected by Republican and Democratic politicians because he held them to account equally. I wish he was still with us.

I'm not sure why Jim Eagle even went down that tangent. Tim was a great reporter. His son is now a respect writer. Nothing about Nashville. Just cynical nonsequiturs. SMH.

Yes, we miss Tim, however, don't need all this video time for Luke selling his books after globe trotting on the family money "in search of himself" he could have just gotten out of all things about him like other young men who lose a parent! Just don't see his time wondering the globe to be that interesting, really, who cares?

Tim Russert was a great journalist. He is one of the reasons that I became politically active, dare I say it? I am woke, and thanks to the journalists that guided me through the messy political landscape.
