All the United States needs to do concerning the border situation is enforce the law that already exists. We have laws already in place concerning immigration and border security. Let’s enforce what we already have. Apparently this guy being interviewed is unaware that we have excellent laws already in place.
It doesn't matter how many laws exist IF Congress doesn't fund the mandates. DHS has come out several times and said it needs more process officers: immigration lawyers, judges and investigators. THAT is what why it takes so long to process asylum seekers.
@@catherinewilliams9680. The DHS needs the money to process those individuals who have been allowed to enter the country illegally. We didn’t have this under Trump. Trump initiated the highly successful, ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy. This policy allowed immigration officials to interview for an individuals while still in Mexico to determine if they met the standards for entry into the United States. Those who did, were allowed to enter with proper paperwork. Those who did not remain in Mexico. This was an extremely successful program.
The Biden administration did away with this successful program and now we have the disastrous order situation that requires more money and more agents to process those illegals.
Illegal immigration rose every year Trump was in office, reaching an all-time high in 2020. The murder rate and home prices rose, too. How quickly people forget.
