What a wonderful interview, Lawrence. Your lead-in was so heartfelt & full of admiration for yours & Tim Russert’s former boss, Daniel Patrick Moynihan & Tim Russert himself. Then the utter admiration & respect for Luke Russert…lovely.
Luke’s father would be most proud of his son & methinks you once again did Harvard & our hometown of Boston most *PROUD* .

i'll never forget coming home at lunch, turning on the tv, and seeing Keith Olbermann crying with no makeup on his face. i don't think i've ever been so shocked as when he explained a couple minutes later that Tim Russert had died that morning,

I am a 70 year old Asian woman who watched Tim Russert’s Meet the Press every Sunday and still remember the shock of Tim’s passing! Meet the press today is not the same anymore and I miss Tim’s twinkling eyes and God bless this young man in whatever he does in his life!

I remember when Mr. Russert died and there was a general feeling among a large part of the population that he was irreplaceable. His young son was very sad and that same man has now made his peace from all his introspection through the many journies tak

Tim was the best and the last time I appreciated "Meet the Press". It's current host just doesn't get it nor have the appeal.

I truly missed Tim, it still hurts.
      But, we have a problem.
      Everyone can't be like Tim.
We're all different, none of us behave like the next person.
It's not cool to demean someone because you like the other one better!
Let's be civil. It doesn't hurt.

@@beckyhenkel7917 Don’t think he was being demeaning. And who appointed you comment police? He was just expressing an opinion about current host. I happen to agree. Tim was a superb talent that no one will ever replace… not unlike Walter Cronkite. I haven’t watched Meet the Press since Tim’s passing. He was one in a billion!
