Killer tune and performance! Robin is easily the best singer in the MSG franchise!
What I've ALWAYS LOVED about Michael's playing is I could come away from each solo singing or whistling a catchy melody from his solos that stay with me for hours on end. That rarely happens for me with many (most?) of today's shredders. Love Live Michael Schenker!
I never really thought about,but you are right.Michael seems to put a lot of thought in to his solos.He's not just shredding and noodling.I think Brian May and Steve Howe are the same way.Not that I would ever expect Steve Howe to all of a sudden burst in to a Malmsteen like solo,but come to think of it,that would be pretty cool!

Love seeing Robin McAuley fronting Schenkers band, by far the best to have from the recent multi vocalists line-ups. Gives it more of a band feel now and more consistency. This is excellent.
I'm a bit confused... Is MSG "Michael Schenker Group" or "McAuley Schenker Group" today? There was an album in the eighties with their name "McAuley Schenker Group", right? And McAuley is still in the band? Or is MSG no more? Just Michael Schenker today?

UFO was a chance i joined the Columbia Record club an needed 2 more picks,so i figured i will try out because of the name UFO an loved it,so i bought every album that they made at the time an loved them all,even MSG best guitarist from Germany than i needed 1 more group so i picked Sweet Deselation Boulevard an feel in love with all the hits they already had,didn't know it was them,an of course i bought every album from Wig Wam Bam an they turned to be 1 of my favorite bands to this day even there are no more living members an saw them at the Providence Civic Center which was surpose to be a out side Concert at Spring Field Mass,but the Mayor of Providence Brought it as a inside Concert with Atlantic Ridoum,Raidbow Foghat an Sweet an Sweet that day had the #1 song in America, Called Love is like Oxygen. Best 4 band Concert i ever seen started at 1:00pm till 11:00pm still 1 of the best Concerts Ball Room Biltz Fox on the Run Little Willy an so many more,what a great surprise. ❤❤😮😮😮

Yeah, nice to see Michael reintroduce this one to the set list; he played it really close to the studio version with a couple of change-ups for the end. Robin pretty much flawless with the singing here.

I've always appreciated how Michael writes songs where the rhythms and leads are structured where he really does both, with minimal rhythm back-support. It can be limiting in some sense, depending on what the music is trying to accomplish, through with Michael's seeming goal as an artist, the layers of noise really aren't necessary. Michael sounds better than ever....I have seen him over three consecutive decades, and he always seems to improve each time. Great share !

Is it just me or do the Dean V's sound thicker than his old Gibson V's? I had one once and I couldn't get that thing to sound thick no matter what I did.

No. You're right. The Dean's have a thicker sound. Had a lights out V for a while. Thick sound. Put a Gibson TP 6 tailpiece on it and it never went out of tune. Hated letting it go.

@@superfly19751 I saw Barden with Schenker on the MSG tour, in a small club. Gary sounded excellent - very close to studio versions. The band was phenomenal! That said, I just like Robin's voice better.

The need an additional guitarist or keyboardist to fill the gap while Michael playing the solo part. Robin must return to the band. He is so great.
