Absolutely love my pc Charger it runs like a champ and the folding brace with takedown ability makes it super east to break down and transport. The quick change out inserts to switch between Ruger and glock mags is nice for extended mag ability.
This is only funny for edgy teens. Ruger makes 10/22's that are literally labeled "backpacker" or takedown models. It's easy to carry with you when you're out hiking, camping, hunting, etc. I guess I'm not too fun at parties.

@bradleysmith9431 not an SBR as it comes with a 16" barrel. However, if you live in a good state, you can purchase the Ruger PC Charger, the pistol varient, which has a 4" barrel. Now, if you took that barrel, and had a PC carbine to put it on, THAT would be an SBR. A seemingly awesome one too.
I have one and I love it. You can easily hit a 100 yards target with it and pretty accurately too. Mine has about 2 inch drop at 100 yards. Shoots 9mm luger ammo.
For those that struggle with removing the barrel, you have to pull the bolt back or lock it back to twist it all the way to take it off. Also, when putting it back on. Make sure your barrel nut is not too tight. It wouldn't press all the way down so you can turn the barrel to seat it in.

That’s exactly what it is. I wish they would bring back the patrol carbines from the past, they made a 44 mag version. If you can find one now and it has functioning mags then you should buy it. They are awesome.

The price you pay for a Takedown. I wish they did the Charger as a non-takedown to save weight. Would actually be pretty nice as long as the stock and handguard are polymer. I made the mistake of getting a cast handguard and stock. So, now mine weighs like 20lbs 🤣
Yup they are tanks. I was showing one to a customer at the shop and imediately they said the same thing it weighs to much. Sold them a Kalashnikov USA 9mm sidefolder.
I bought this exact model and along side it bought 3 33 round glock mags as well as a 50 round drum mag and I've started just calling it my "tacticool PPSH-41" lolll
You know it doesn’t look that bad, if they made the mag well less dumb I think it would be a pretty beast looking firearm. Sometimes I wish they just made copies of the M1 Carbine in various calibers but without the outlandish price points
I love Ruger. Born and raised in Newport, NH. The PCC is a great economical choice. But if you've got the extra cash, I'll take a 9mm AR rifle any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
I PREFER my Ruger PC Carbine withOUT a pistol grip because in some jurisdictions, having a pistol grip on you long gun makes it menacing and an "assault weapon"..... The traditional long gun look just attracts less attention in my humble opinion....
There are 10mm ar style carbines. Cmmg makes the best one in my opinion due to their radial delayed blow back that almost eliminates the recoil. Kriss Vector comes in 10mm as does the high point carbine.
I have one and note that you can use m-lock accessories on the front I have a ar15 front grip and light on mine and you can get all different types of aftermarket stocks for it
Why are people claiming this looks like a PPSH? Other than the basic profile, giving it a slightly cosmetic similarity, they really are very different guns. The Russian rifle is an open bolt blowback shooting a necked cartridge. It's select fire and is often mounted with a drum magazine. This model is closed bolt and shoots straight wall cartridges using standard Glock magazines. It is semi-automatic only. How are they the same?
I love mine too. Put a strike industries cookie cutter break and a holosun 503 on it. Thing shoots faaaaaast. I'm putting a binary trigger in it soon 🤣
my biggest problem with the ruger, and the henry too, is that the magazine is forward of the hand. you have pistol calibers, in pistol magazines, why not put it in a pistol grip. like the S&W FPC, or the Beretta CX4 Storm, or even the Keltec Sub2000.

Though I do have to wonder how much a 9mm benefits from the extra barrel length. I might need to get one to go with the Canik
My goto PCC was my Berreta CX4. It’s kind of a bizarre gun in its own ways and mine specifically was a little impractical until I converted the mag-well and put a tri-rail on it. Does come with a nice one-piece rail on the top for mounting optics tho

I'm only 19 so I'm just now getting into guns and my dad gave me that model 30 and it's been sitting in a safe for over 20 years without being fired. I just got it checked out and everything is good it's ready to be shot and is in great condition other than it needs some oil.

I have a PC Charger, put 700 rounds through Glock 33 round stick mags, +P, no jams, no malfunctions.
I thought you had to get an adapter for the Glock magazines to fit??

The chassis version top notch in my opinion, it has some draw backs, but once you come one with the rifle, it’s a true shooter.

I have a Ruger PC Carbine in .40 S&W and use my Glock G22 mags in it. It's my EDC-BOB combo.
It's a good little saddlebag gun, especially with a folder on the back
