Panera is nothing like subway, except that they have sandwiches. They specializing in clean eating so source organic and antibiotic free ingredients like Chicken. The Pick 2 is always a good option whether its soup, salad or sandwich in your selections. Affordable and lots of choices to pick from
It's over a year later and I'm rewatching the Florida vlogs cause well I miss being there, and enjoyed your trip vlogs. I probably posted a comment last year but right now I'm in tears laughing at Nick, stating that Na'Vi River Journey is a posh version of It's a Small World. They are so different except the boats. lol
I drive for a living so it was nice to be driven about, I stayed at Disney All Star Sports the buses was fine and Uber wax great when I used them

Hi guys. Just subscribed after binging on a few videos. A great relief from Covid. I’m an Expat Scot living in northern California for 24 years. Just wanted to mention that Sweet Tomatoes (aka Soup Plantation in other parts of the US) has become a victim of Covid and has gone under. Although from Scotland, I have been loving your English travel videos and of course the ones from the lodge. Perk me up no end when I get a bit homesick.
If the christmas ornament said Goofy Challenge it is for Run Disney that was around the time you were there. Basically you run a half marathon on a saturday through the parks and then on the sunday do a full marathon through the parks, happens the first or second weekend of January every year.
I liked the Lion KIng-especially the bird flying and monkeys. However, the best show in Disney is Fantasmic!
Panera Bread originally was called St. Louis Bread Company. We still have them as St. Louis Bread company here in St. Louis, which we call Bread Co. I had a sandwich from there today for lunch.

I didn't realise you could book into Saratoga Springs if you weren't a DVC member. I loved the location. I am picking up so many tips for my trip in June.

Hi guys you talked about the transport opinions we stay at hawthorn suites at lake beau vista and we choose non driving option
We use the free transportation and also the lynx transportation which has bus stops outside the hotel

Lion King done. It's pretty good with how they created the show and the amount of shows they do per day must be exhausting.

We missed out on bauble in October so hoping to get Skyliner one this December. Contemporary looks good for a snack and place to explore
You forgot to check out The Wave bar at the contemporary- will have to go to that IMAX cinema on next trip - maybe see James Bond film if it ever comes out - rewatching Florida 2020 vlogs

Panera Bread is pricey but so good. And yes, if you ordered a whole salad you get the bread too.

On the ground floor is the Wave restaurant which has a bar that is exactly what you want.
The way to get up to the Top of the Lounge bar at the California Grill is to go to the check in podium on the second floor and tell them that you want to go to the bar. There is a bank of elevators right behind the check in podium and the hostess will send you up to the 15 floor. You do not need a reservation, have a great time!
If you go to the 2nd floor check in for the California grill they will escort you up to to the restaurant. You can go to the bar for drinks then.👍

If you ever see a Potbelly restaurant, it is a chain very similar to Panera Bread. There is only one in FL (Tampa).

A Great video. Hope you 2 enjoyed Saratoga Springs? I see that Nick is not too big a fan of the Live Shows. The 2019 Baubles still expensive? That is Disney for you. Neil and I hope you 2 enjoyed Panera Bread, as we have lots of their locations in Canada. Very unique to see Bread and Milk at the Disney Resort hotels. Watching Star Wars on IMAX, is a completely different experience than watching it on a regular movie theatre screen.
You guys need to try McAlister's Deli. There is one in Orlando! It's almost as good as Pinera Bread.
We did rainforest cafe in august 2019 and 2018. Got to say we weren't keen. Out of the 2 we prefer T Rex cafe although they are much of a muchness. The food was nicer st T Rex in my personal opinion.
The Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom is a must for my family. Try it.

You can validate your parking (get it for free) at the Regal via the self service kiosks in the lobby.
Rainforest cafe is great for kids..... its cramped and loud... and the food is ok....
Been to the rainforest cafe twice in Disney springs, each time we have been dissapointed with the food but the experience inside was fantastic. Would I go back for a third time, no.

I’m with you Nick, not keen on a show at the parks either. We stupidly sat front row of the Beetlejuice show at Universal, it was so bad but we couldn’t leave obviously as we were at the front. The show strangely enough has now gone!!!

I have to say, I don’t know any two people who take more joy from contradicting each other than the two of you do. 🤣 You are right about the Mr. Coffee - I have one, and when I make my one cup of coffee in the morning I put in enough water to go a bit past the 2 cup mark, and then it just about makes a complete mug of coffee. I do love English Breakfast Tea, and I think I’ll have some in a little bit, even though it’s afternoon. I do like shows, but it looks to me like the “Lion King” show at Disney World is entertaining but not nearly as impressive as the musical “The Lion King.” And I’ve eaten at Panera Bread a good bit, but they’re kind of on my shit list right now because earlier this week I placed a to go order that they messed up a good bit. It looks like Nick got the Steak and Arugula sandwich, which my sister likes. When you go back you should try the Chipotle Chicken Panini, which is really delicious.
Can I ask where’d you get the latches to hold your magic bands on? We’re going to WDW in April and I’m concerned about magic bands coming off and getting lost.

We stayed in the Contemporary for 10 nights September 2019, absolutely fabulous resort ,Love Disneyworld full stop, &enjoying your vlogs,however we prefer to stay on property ,but totally agree disney pricing is outrageous,We too are from Yorkshire & savy how we spend our dollers. Enjoy the rest of your holiday looking forward to the vlogs x
Yeah, Rainforest Cafe not so good there, food ok but too busy and very noisy, Disneyland Paris one much better🙂

We stayed in the Contemporary on our first On Site stay in 1993, been a family favourite ever since!! I love that the monorail goes right through the hotel. Love that you guys are making the most of every single day of this trip!! Love seeing the Disney blue screen for a moment too! A x
