Great content here, a lot of tutorials focus on pulling with your arm or pivoting (which is important) but really hard to put together when you are starting out. I like simple little things like this that you can incorporate into your drive
Great information. I also found that too much thumb down pressure causes nose up air bounce. I reduced the thumb pressure and immediately threw almost 100 feet farther.
Great information in this video. I'm definitely going to have to try some of these things out when there's not so much snow where I'm at . Keep up the great work love the video
The only other Insanity that I've thrown is a metal flake Proton one and I haven't noticed a difference between them. I actually left this one out there that day 😰 Criminally underrated disc, though
@@ArmoryDiscGolf oh yeah they're great. I have a fission, for left to right panning shots and hyzer flips, cosmic neutron one for straight to very slightly overstable shots and eclipse for much more overstable shots. I rely on them pretty consistently.
I feel targeted. 😉 This is one of my biggest issues. I tend to bring the disc and wrist up during the peak of the reachback, and then it swoops down during the first half of the swing, then back up during the second half, causing a nose-up issue.
@@ArmoryDiscGolf Yeah, man! I've been looking at my form now and there's still just so many problems. The problem with building bad habits is that it's so hard to break them. I wish in the beginning I was taught (or just learned on my own) how to throw correctly. That's the one piece of advice I would give to anyone starting this game. Spend time learning the backhand and forehand properly. If just to head off bad habits at the pass.
1. Gonna vote Frisbyterian in 2024 2. Gonna have to give you a stroke for each of those chalk bag throws 3. I needed this video big time, my Hex is flying just as far as some of my fairway drivers lol
What helped me the most was actually the knowledge that you believe in me. Thanks man, I believe in me too!
The chalk bag toss is the best part lol

Thanks, hope it helps you boom 💪
There is a lot of NEW information here instead of just the old "pour the coffee" advice. I will definitely give your suggestions a try. Thank you!
Thanks you. Good practical steps to work on.
Hope they help!

Crazy how little adjustments can have such big impacts

Boo snow. We don't have to worry about that down here haha
I needed this
Hope it helps! Made a huge difference for me
Good vid
LOVED this content....I need to hit the fieldwork today! Bag toss was the most Alpha thing I've seen on the internet today. Baskets beware
😂
Armory. Bad ass.
That was very well explained! I feel like I just watch Bill Nye 😂
Bill Nye the Hyzer Guy
@@ArmoryDiscGolf 🤣 perfect
I bag a few Insanities in different plastics, but I don't have a plasma one. How does it fly compared to the neutron or cosmic neutron?

@@bearislandjosh5279 oh yeah I forgot I've thrown an eclipse one before. Those are almost a different mold haha. Way more OS
@@ArmoryDiscGolf Yeah! And it's great for the winds here in Oklahoma
Frisbyterians ™

You and me both, brother. Years and years of throwing like that before I even found out it was wrong haha
