    Your content is a goldmine man, thank you for all this knowledge and the resources you share with us. If I may post a suggestion, what about doing some tutorials in the style of Innellea, Yubik or Trikk? I think they're very interesting from a production standpoint and I would be intrigued to see your take on them. Thanks again and take care!

    One thing that works well with heavy reverb is to send it through a granular delay with long grains and low density. The effect is to disturb the sense of space by creating subtle discontinuities. Washes of reverb can end up feeling dull, so adding some process after the reverb can help a lot.

      @@audioreakt granular delay works best on textural sounds. Choppy loop mangling can work on rhythms.

    Really great again! i know you have done couple videos on how to make kicks but i was wondering how to make a hard kick like in the track: raxeller - crying in your sleep
    With that oldschool hardcore like punch (idk how to explain) and offbeat reverb
    Been trying to make a kick like this for ages and never get it right. Can you maybe explain it in the comments? :D

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  2 года назад

      that's a nice kick indeed but also very hard to figure it out how to make it other than "909 kick with a lot of distortion distortion" haha... I would say layer different texture and ultra saturated kick, but honestly there is no secret recipe

    At the very beginning, what range do you recommend to start with? Minor, Phrygian? Isn't it important to work on the whole while respecting the notes that are in the scale chosen for the track to be tuned ? I'm just starting to get interested

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  Год назад +1

      yes they are both interesting scale, Dorian, Lydian, Minor blues, Hungarian minor. Depend what you want, I usually choose a minor scale but then I will pick up one or two note out of that scale and it can give weird weilling to it.

    Curious how you feel about stereo treatment on your hats etc. in the club it doesn’t work well.

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  Год назад

      club is one things but people listen to your music on headphone, stereo speaker too. the best is too have them work on both. Of course in club you will not have the stereo experience, but you have to think the other way around : something that sound interesting on heaphone and your monitor but that can translate well in a club to, which means if you play with the stereo make sure the mono compatibility is ok, hope it make sense, a bit hard to explain
