    Brillant, thanks for sharing! Always wondered how the chord stabs get this metallic timbre, turns out it’s FM. Can’t wait to try myself :)

    • @audioreakt

      you're welcome, yeah I se FM if I want a more "cold" sound, otherwise just detune saw or square for more classic warm chord I would say

    Hope someone finds this useful
    I get a lot of mileage out of making “rave stabs”, really any sort of short chord sample. Take that in to sampler and then adding the typical dub tech effects (reverb, delay, filters)
    You can create quite complex chord structures this way without having an absurd number of synths running in real time. Just a single resampled chord

      Thans for the tips , I will pin it so everyone can see it

    so was listening to this song " Nadja Lind - Voyage (Giuliano Rodrigues Video) " and the sound design in my head was how I described it = band pass filter modulated to cuttoff dub techno chord and found this video. sound nearly the same type of chords.

      haha yes tbh the recipe is always the same (more or less) but then you ahve a lot of possibility to make it differnt/your own !

      Amp is so good, especially with buzzy sound like sawtooth, unison, detune...

    Hi Paul, how much of the Wavetable bank 3 would work with live 10?

    • @audioreakt

      None, they all have been created with live 11

  • @cryptout
    @cryptout 2 года назад +1

    Very nice but you miss the "warmth" real dub techno has. Maybe add some more analogue processing?

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  2 года назад +3

      well I feel not all dub techno is "warm" and often find some more "cold", that's why I used FM here, it get you this "cold" feeling. If you don't use fm, but use detune saw/square, you might get back that "warm"

    • @cryptout
      @cryptout 2 года назад

      @@audioreakt Thanks for the insight! It’s indeed the FM synthesis that creates the colder sound.

    Can you please teach us how to make this sound with SERUM VST 🙏

    • @audioreakt
      @audioreakt  Год назад +1

      you can replicate something similar in serum, I don't think ableton wavetable has function that serum doesn't, it's more the other way around

    • @fantasticsz4939
      @fantasticsz4939 Год назад

      @@audioreakt I am still learning my way around Serum VST which is why i had some difficulties replicating the sound with that VST.
