Hope someone finds this useful I get a lot of mileage out of making “rave stabs”, really any sort of short chord sample. Take that in to sampler and then adding the typical dub tech effects (reverb, delay, filters) You can create quite complex chord structures this way without having an absurd number of synths running in real time. Just a single resampled chord
so was listening to this song " Nadja Lind - Voyage (Giuliano Rodrigues Video) " and the sound design in my head was how I described it = band pass filter modulated to cuttoff dub techno chord and found this video. sound nearly the same type of chords.
well I feel not all dub techno is "warm" and often find some more "cold", that's why I used FM here, it get you this "cold" feeling. If you don't use fm, but use detune saw/square, you might get back that "warm"
Thank you Paul, for always doing these things and putting them on YT for free
My pleasure !
Thank you so much for these dub tutorials please keep them coming can’t find much of this stuff on yt❤️
I need to do a livestream/template later this year, it's been long indeed !
The most adequate lesson. Thanks! It's cool that you're also showing synthesis. Signed up.
I wish your channel to develop further! ❤🔥👽
Thank you very much!
Hope someone finds this useful

haha yes tbh the recipe is always the same (more or less) but then you ahve a lot of possibility to make it differnt/your own !
Thank you for always sharing knowledge
My pleasure
Brillant, thanks for sharing! Always wondered how the chord stabs get this metallic timbre, turns out it’s FM. Can’t wait to try myself :)
you're welcome, yeah I se FM if I want a more "cold" sound, otherwise just detune saw or square for more classic warm chord I would say
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks ! Sounds delicious ...

Love me some amp on dub chords, underated plug in but Softube, so wadya expect?
Amp is so good, especially with buzzy sound like sawtooth, unison, detune...
This is wonderful!
Glad you like it 🙏 cheers
@@audioreakt Sir! do you have a video of how to manage the instrument rack and automatize the knobs? Thank you
Very nice. Thank you.
You're welcome !
You rock.. Thank you
You're welocme !
Very nice but you miss the "warmth" real dub techno has. Maybe add some more analogue processing?

@@audioreakt Thanks for the insight! It’s indeed the FM synthesis that creates the colder sound.
Can you please teach us how to make this sound with SERUM VST 🙏
you can replicate something similar in serum, I don't think ableton wavetable has function that serum doesn't, it's more the other way around
@@audioreakt I am still learning my way around Serum VST which is why i had some difficulties replicating the sound with that VST.
Hi Paul, how much of the Wavetable bank 3 would work with live 10?
None, they all have been created with live 11
Is this synthesizer built into ableton?? I use fl lol
yes it's ableton wavetable !
MORE!!
Of course !
where to download the free preset? thx
link is in the description
