@@Threaldaveoss just because theres a bunch of toxic people who made negative videos or an abundance of terrible comments doesn’t means fans aren’t into it. I just happen to be a huge fan of the whole series who decided to argue with ya. A lot of fans are supportive or just waiting for gameplay to judge.

There are many many many videos from people who have always enjoyed AC for years just straight up saying Nope to Shadows.
And the question I hear, which I understand, "Why does the main protagonist in a Feudal Japan setting have to be an African? Is there something wrong with an actual Japanese male protagonist?"
Surely, it would make more sense to show the Japanese perspective of the encroaching Jesuite Portuguese through the eyes of 2 Japanese protagonists.
Is Ubisoft suggesting that the African protagonist introduces the assassins to Japan?
That would make little sense.
We all know why the choice was made. There is no Through line in the story Valhalla was the last setting wasn't it?
But if you want to be ripped off by Ubisoft a greedy fuckface filled organisation go right ahead.
So basically, nothing has changed from the franchise there using the same mechanics for their game. Yeah, I'm staying away from this game. I know for a fact that it will be a disaster just like Valhalla and Mirage.
