I give him credit for trying to moving away from the term Salafi . However he is wrong on the Ashari, Maturidis. The Ashari and Maturidi were always the majority of Al as Sunnah Wal jamaah. However some of them as well as some of there Atharis fall into extremes in interpretation. In reality the Prophet salalahu alayhi wa salaam and the sahaba did not use any of these theology schools nor a lot of the terminology they use.
Belief is in the Quran explained as Iman , etc . Beware. May Allah help us.
Subhaanallaah! Why is it hard for some people to have the salaf aqeeda?! It's not rocket science! Just believe in Allaah's names and attributes taken from the Qur'an and sunnah without comparing them to His creations, khalas!! What more do people need?? And why is it so hard for them?!

The problem for most of them is because how than will they prove there wajib-al-wajood to the Atheist. For example look at Taftazani and hindus, and compare there Aqeedah.

“We know that the first obligation is to know, and recognize Allah. Are we supposed to know Allah through ilm-ul-kalam? If that were the case, then we would say, ‘He does not have a form nor anyone resembling Him nor body nor shape nor meat nor blood nor personality nor appearance nor mass nor colour nor taste nor smell nor feel nor experience of heat or cold or dryness nor wetness nor length nor width nor depth nor togetherness nor separateness nor movement nor stationariness nor can He be divided and he can not be put into different parts and limbs and he does not face a direction and he does not have a right side or left or front or back or above or below and he is not part of this world and he is not outside of this world”.
Contrasted with the Hindu in regards to their believe in Allah.
The Upanishad states, “It is not coarse, not fine, nor short, nor long, not glowing, not adhesive, without shadow and without darkness, without air and without space, without stickiness, odourless, tasteless, without eye, without voice, without mouth, without measure, without inside and without outside”.
Contrast this with the Dawah of the Messenger of Allah.
The problem was the deobandis are asking us what our scholars have written in their books. They feel its wrong.

@@nsr786ahd8 That is upon them if they had problematic aqeedah. Rather, follow the methology of salaf i.e. the rirst three generation and those who followed them. Alhamdulilah there were always ulema with aqeedah of salaf therefore my dear brother stay firm upon the aqeedah of salaf knowing that you are following the path of the first three generation who are the best of ummah and let not shaytan create doubts regarding it. May Allah keep you,me and everyone else on guidance.

I have a friend who just started practicing the deen & unfortunately started getting indoctrinated amongst the Deobandis because he grew up hanafi and felt it would be easy to study with them because they follow hanafi Fiqh. They have lavish masjids and seminaries here in America and Salafiyyah isn’t as prominent amongst the Muslims here. You have any advice on how I could advise him on how to leave their cult?

“Subhaanaka Allaahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika Allaahumma ighfir li (Glory and praise be to you O Allah, our Lord, O Allaah forgive me).”

Surah An-Nasr:
"Al-Bukhari recorded that Aishah said,

Abu Yunus Sulaim b. Jubair, client of Abu Hurairah, said: I heard Abu Hurairah recite this verse: “Allah doth command you to render back your trusts to those to whom they are due” up to “For Allah is he who heareth and seeth all things”. He said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) putting his thumb on his ear and finger on his eye.
Abu Hurairah said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) reciting this verse and putting his fingers. Ibn Yunus said that al-Muqri said. “Allah hears and sees” means that Allah has the power of hearing and seeing.
Sunan Abi Dawud 4728
Imam Abu Dawud commented and said: This is a refutation of the Jahmiyyah.
Also the Hadith, “Allah is not hidden from you, He is not one-eyed.” And he pointed with his hand towards his eye, adding, “Indeed Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjāl is blind in the right eye and his eye looks like a protruding grape.” Reported by Bukhāri, no. 7407.
Imam Ad-Dārimi (رحمه الله) said: “The explanation of the statement of Allah’s Messenger, ‘Indeed Allah is not one-eyed’ is that He (the Most High) is the Seeing who has two eyes (بصير ذو عينين), not like the one-eyed [Dajjāl].” (An-Naqd ‘alā Bishr Al-Mareesee, p. 48)
Imam Uthmaan Ad-Daarimi said: "The opposite of one-eyed is two-eyed (the one who sees with two eyes)."

The Prophet (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will follow the ways of those nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered cave of a mastigure, you would follow them." We said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him)! (Do you mean) the Ahl Kitab?" He said, "Whom else?

In Urdu world there is no better scholar than Sheikh Meraj Rabbani who has exposed Sufi/ barelvis/ Tablighis more.
He has virtually destroyed them with evidences from Quran & Sunnah.
True, the Sheikh was himself a Brewali in the past, but Allah guided him to the Sunnah, whenever I listen to him, my Iman feel refreshed.
@@nsr786ahd8 The scholars were not immune to mistakes, we measure the truth by the Qur’an and Sunnah not by the sayings of people, therefore, when a scholar whom we trust comes with a proper aqeedah backed up by the Qur’an and Sunnah we take it while if another scholars comes with improper aqeedah, we may reject that scholar (depending on how improper his aqeedah is) or take what is good from him/her & leave that which is bad. For example, scholars have discussed Imam an-Nawawi’s mistakes when it came to his ashari aqeedah yet they did not reject the good that he did for the ummah. Every person, scholar or not, may make a mistake, we try to follow one we trust and ask questions concerning the evidences to the best of our efforts. Yet, we do not tie ourselves to the mistake(s) of scholars.
There was also Dr. Israr Ahmad (May Allah forgive him and give him Jannah firdos).
In one of his videos, he was trying clarify a point in Islam and what to do (all of us know which one). When I heard that I started laughing internally, and wanted to check the comments immediately.
Lo and behold, majority of the comments were: "wahabi", "you wahabi, will never listen to you again" etc..
Was shocked but not at the same time. Even though he gave references, still people started mass hating him.

I seen myself that amongst many south Asian uncels from the older generation that they don't like arabs for whatever reason. I remember one even saying that the arabs have no scholars all the scholars are in India, as a revert I find this so disghusting. Alhamdu L'Lah Allah guided me to salafiyya when I go to a salafi masjid there more colours and cultures in there than one can count all brothers love eachother for the sake of Allah.
One time in 2019 some Pakistani guy told me that alot of knowledge in Arabic has been lost and that 80% of Islamic knowledge is preserved in Urdu. Where did that idea come from?

But we don't ask "HOW".

We don't need someone, after 300 years of Prophet mohammad, to
explain Allah's Sifats with philosophy, or metaphor or elmul kalam or whatever.
What Sahabas, Tabeyin, Tabe-Tabeyin, great Imams, great hadiths writers, millions of muslims believed back then -We believe exactly same Salafi aqeeda.

(أَوِ الطِّفْلِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَىٰ عَوْرَاتِ النِّسَاءِ)
Allah's says Al Tifl(the child singular) and not Atfaal(Children plural) and he uses الذين which is plural mean Al Tifl(child singular) which are those(Al Latheenah plural). Those who don't know arabic would say that it should be Atfal( children plural) and not only one child. While the rest of the Ayah refers to plural men and women and fathers and mothers in plural form except for this word( child) without S at the end as plural.

This deobandi (may Allāh guide him and us) is misleading people by claiming Shaykh ibn Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) (or let's be straightforward, all of us *Salafis) compare Allāh (azza wa jall) to His creation. While we DON'T ever do that, Alhamdulillāh.
These misguided people who have a distorted aqeedah cannot accept that which Allāh (subhaanahu wa ta'ala) described Himself with; also what Prophet Muhammad ﷺ described Allāh (azza wa jall) with.
So it's an educational video, where brother Abu Mussab (May Allāh protect him and his family) refuted his misguiding claims and delivered to us the correct aqeedah of Ahlus sunnah wal jamaah.

Evidences that Allah has eyes
* Allah said, “Be patient with the judgment of your Lord for verily you are under our eyes.”
* Allah said,”We carried him on planks and nails sailing under our eyes.”
* We know that Allah has two eyes from a Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ, in the Hadith about Dajjal the Prophet said,”Dajjal he has one eye [Āwar], and your lord is not one eyed [Āwar] .”
* Āwar is used for the being that have two eyes
* The word Āwar in the Arabic language is used to describe someone who has two eyes but they have a problem in one eye
* Allah said,”I bestowed upon you love from Me that you will be brought up under My Eye.”

Imam Uthmaan Ad-Daarimi said: "The opposite of one-eyed is two-eyed (the one who sees with two eyes)."
Imam Abu Bakr Ibn Khuzaymah, died 311H (رحمه الله) stated:
“We say: Our Lord, the Creator, has two eyes and He sees with them what is beneath the soil, and what is beneath the seventh and lowest earth, and what is in the highest heavens, and whatever is between them, whether small or great…” (Kitāb At-Tawheed p. 52, Dār Al-Kitāb Al-Ilmiyyah)
Imam Abul-Hasan Al-Ash’ari, died 324H (رحمه الله) stated about the Mu’tazilah:
“They - meaning the Mu’tazilah - deny that Allah has two eyes even though He, the Most High, said about Himself, “[It was] sailing under Our Eyes.” (54:14) and the hadeeth of the Dajjāl is clear for the one who ponders over it with the least amount of reflection that Allah (the Mighty and Majestic) has two eyes. And if that were not the case then the purpose for the clarification of the perfection of Allah with respect to His eyes would be lost.” (End) Meaning that the Dajjāl is deficient in that he is one-eyed, and your Lord is perfect in that He has two eyes that befit His Majesty, “And there is none like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.”
Moreover, Imam Ibn-Khuzaymah wrote in his book entitled At-Tawheed: "It is compulsory on every Muslim to affirm for his Lord and Creator what Allaah has affirmed for Himself, like the Eyes, and a non-believer is the one who negates what Allaah has affirmed in His Book.” He further said: "Our Creator and Lord has two eyes, by them He sees what is under the soil, what is under the seventh earth and what is above the heavens."
Imaam At-Tabari said while interpreting the verse {under Our Eyes} “it means under the Eyes of Allaah”; he reported this from Ibn ‘Abbaas and Mujaahid.
Ahlus-Sunnah also provided evidence of the Hadeeth narrated by Anas that the Prophet said: "Allaah is not hidden from you; He is not one-eyed.", and he [the Prophet] pointed with his fingers to his two eyes, adding, while Ad-Dajaal (the Antichrist) is blind in the right eye'. [Al-Bukhari]

I have a question brother. I thought we only blindly follow Allah and the prophet ﷺ, as for sahaba, aren’t we suppose find proof for why they said something, or do we blindly follow them? I ask because I’m confused because the texts explicitly mention only 1 foot, but we are assuming 2 instead of 1 based solely on the words of a sahabi. What did Ibn Abas base this on?
If I remember correctly, there is a principle in aqeedah that if the Sahaba رضي الله عنم are speaking about the unseen -- which includes attributes of Allah -- then it is because this information was relayed to them by the Prophet ﷺ
Allah commanded us to follow the Sahaba in the Qur’an. This is why we say, the Qur’an and the Sunnah with the understanding of the Sahaba. After the Messenger ﷺ the sahaba understood the Qur’an and Sunnah the best therefore if we have an authentic narration from them we take it.
If you look at Tafsir At-Tabari and Tafsir Ibn Kathir, (Abu Mussab mentioned Umdat At Tafsir of Ahmad Shakir which is an abridgement of Ibn Kathir’s tafsir in 3 volumes) these imams both bring the narrations of the Sahaba and Tab’ieen to explain the verses of the Qur’an. For example Ibn Abbas, Abdullah ibn Umar, Mujahid, Dhahak etc. Go look at these tafsir books. If you need help I will help you but first you go do some research and see for yourself. In arabic you will find the word in question then the word اي and then the meaning of the word.
