What Tahir is doing is 100x worse and I would argue SPUBS have clarified what Abu Mussab said in this video, for example what the Sheikh said about Abu Khadeejah has been clarified but that's a different subject. And this is a common theme among those who hate SPUBS. They critisize them for what they say is being too harsh, but they speak about them like they committed shirk. It's a clear hatred and injustice from many if those who oppose SPUBS. Dawah Man used to promote Tahir Wyatt, and now he hasnt been that harsh with him as far as I know. But he's INCREDIBLY harsh with SPUBS. Abu Mussab promoted Tahir Wyat, and now he critisizes him a little but critisizes SPUBS 100x more. What the hell is going on? Muhammad Hijab is the WORST! He gives Yaqeen a platform, Yasir Qahdi a platform, he's sooooo nice to them, but he insults the wives of SPUBS members and has a campaign against them. This shows me SPUBS is upon the truth if everybody hates them this much for being a little too harsh? We need to fear Allah, be just, and seek the truth.

Abdullah bhukari lying on hadiths, Abdul Wahid arrested, Hani a kawarij, Arafat attacking scholars Sh Ubayd has praised (though abd. bhukari said refuting is fard al khaffayah - and he praised hani), Fawad and ibn silfiq's errors with Allah's Tawhid Asma wa Siffat, they use sufi style ghulu and hate between the Madkhali sheikhs against the salafi mathhab, they lie, they have an imam erring in Aqidah, making errors on Quran, Jesus & shia style statements they themselves suggest accusations of zina, the oppression and double standards is clear, they are not to say this is salafiyah and are to retract. their silence in this point may not even be humble but can be even understood as arrogance, - so they aren't to be silent, they are too retract unless they bring new info... I have seen jahils of spubs say things like "why you comment (on modesty) when your view on this person is this" , what does modesty have to do with my differring as things unfold? this is the type of hizbiya you see there... why are they attacking your ibada... but it was only some of them to be fair. and i used to listen to spubs more often before, the tarbiya could be better if this is the case, you know i try to do my part, and thats on top of their bad errors and sin they should repent for things that aren't small if they are honest, lets put it that way.

The way you spoke about SPUBS in this video was wallah the most sincerest and fairest approach I have ever heard. It was a breath of fresh air. Also regarding Mufti Menk and Tahi Wyatt, you spoke from the heart, and I could feel it. We aren't here to fight and refute for fame or money. We do this cause we love the truth and the correct path. I am a so called spubs brother. But I don't blind following anybody. Good work 👍 my brother, good adab. We need to work on our salafi brothers, pardon evil character, get united, as this internal salafi fight make us weak. May Allah increase your knowledge, give you patience, and help us to rectify some of our ustadh mistakes.
On mufti-menk: People of today's world are suffering more and more in silence, even amongst the Muslim......Some hearts cannot and isn't ready to take speeches that are loud, with firm and almost angry tonality...Speeches delivered in such manner... are least likely to reach the hearts of Muslims who are suffering and traumatised by people who uses the same angry tonality who had caused their trauma in the first place........ With Mufti Menk, i can see he's appealed to many of people i know about Islam... people who suffered from semi abusive parents for example...... I infact, growing up and making mistakes....had to relearn Islam from People with speeches that soothes the heart... it's inviting to enter a learning journey into the more serious parts of Islam...... I hope this gives a healthy food for thought :)
I agree with you.. his speeches do help soothe the heart especially when you begin practicing after leaving your past life of fitna and sins.. yes there are certain very important things he doesn't talk about much which we must learn from great scholars of Islam but that doesn't mean we stop listening to him completely

Watch videos on RUclips with Sheikh Fawzan, Sheikh bin Baz for their fatawas, also Al Albani and Ibn Uthaimeen. They were bigger scholars. Sheikh Fawzan Fawzan is still alive I think. Channels like Dus Sunnah if you watch brother Shamsi, also Shabir Yusuf in hyde park is smart, Mansur in speakers corner is also very knowledgeable. I follow him on Twitter. Farid Responds too. Assalamualaikum Sheikh Mussab. When I started closely follow eminent Islamic scholars 6 years back Mufti Menk was top of my list. And then I came across your name and I have seen each video of your initial transformation. Masha Allah you have that same straight forward attitude and always speak the truth as per the teachings of Quran and Sunnah. And you do not shy away for criticising Scholars who are wrong be it NAK or M Menk. It's not just about gaining popularity by portraying a rosy picture of Islam. The actual facts and realities needs to be taught also. Over the years both have failed to do. Recent videos and actions by brother Mufti Menk raised questions in my mind and I hope he really thinks about it sooner otherwise, knowingly or unknowingly he might be misguiding a huge number of his followers. May Allah keep you healthy and keep guiding us through your videos. You were absolutely spot on with your explanation in this video.

I'm glad you at least had the courage to reach out to Tahir. We're here in Philly with him, he reads/teaches from the scholars of the salaf and he mixes with the Salafis in Philadelphia on a daily basis. SPUBS affiliates here in Philly do not have the courage to contact Tahir when in most cases he easily available and only about at 20 minute car drive.
Your knowledge has benefited me for years. You remind me of Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem. I love the points you made near to the end of the video that we (Scholars and Muslims) shouldn't be afraid to deliver the true image of Islam to the Non-Muslims. And if our false representation of Islam leads to them reverting, they may then discover the true essence of Islam, and then abandon Islam once more. I never thought of it like that. Excellent points about Mufti Menk. Although I like him, I agree with you. We shouldn't only speak about what the people want to hear. Sometimes we have to address controversial issues that need to be addressed.
If we are not sure about something, say nothing. In shaa Allah some ulama' choose not to talk about controversial things. Else, they will be attacked and the message about Islam won't get far. Can you help provide proof to show Yaqeen support LGBT? I am so confused.

Jazaka Allahu khayran. I have a thought that Ust. Abu Mussab choosing to do hijrah and refusing to live in the West (America at that) is allowing him to stay so steadfast on the truth. These da’ees in America, part of their problem is that they are affected by their environment around them. Politics and media shape everyone’s actions here, and no one is exempt.
Actually, there are also many brothers in the West who refuse to become deviated, and remain upon the haqq. Take our dear brother Imam Karim AbuZaid from Colorado, for example. He is someone who I love dearly even tho I'm not from the West, simply because he strives to remain upon the correct methodology, his love for tawheed and his khutbahs & series (esp. Right Belief Series) always give me tremendous motivation. While what you're saying is true for the most part, But honestly speaking, anyone who has a disease or a crookedness in his heart will ultimately deviate, and that is what happens to most du'aat in America. A person who's sincere, he'll utilize all the means at his/her disposal to protect himself/herself from being affected by the hyper-negative environment surrounding him.

Moving to a more conservative land where you see more symbols of Islam and less fitan can be a means of steadfastness on the truth.
Mashallah, you do not look 41. I do not know the issue with Mufti Menk, but what is wrong with someone who wishes to specialize their dawah? The way I see it, Mufti Menk has focused on giving a soft and welcoming call to Islam. There are people (non Muslims) who follow him because of his positive messages. If they are on a binge of his videos and come across a harsh video, it may turn them cold when they were beginning to warm up. Even Musa (as) was told to give Firaun dawah and to speak nicely.
Who said he should be harsh? Also, harshness is subjective... if you are upon the truth and stern upon it, the people of innovations and disbelievers will perceive you to be too harsh and extreme. With this, if you are to succumb and then try to please you them (to earn 'everyone's' love), you will be on the wrong and you will ultimately jeopardize your deen. Moreover, no matter what you do, everyone can't love you, why can't to then seek Allāh's love, the Lord of everyone?

As Far as the contents I watched I didn't notice any of these things you're saying. But i do try to see things in a better perspective so i don't fall for the wrong sayings of anyone. The First is a series of trendsetters revivers and others. It helped me in learning a lot about the life of the great companions of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم۔.

Plus, the comments section would be full of people "praising" and appreciating how much "good" they are bringing about about by inviting female du'aat to share their "experiences" in front of mixed audience. The first time I saw this, I was mind-blown at how something like this can be okay. But I was willing to let it slide (even tho I shouldn't have). But then when their bromance with the LGBTQ community was brought into my knowledge, it all started to make clear sense.
The most sickening thing about Yaqeen institute is Jonathan Bown article on “shirk” saying that he believes Allah Will forgive someone who commits shirk . This is contradicting clear cut Qur’anic statement
Honestly, i couldn't bring myself to watch through any of yaqeen institute videos or read through their articles. I just skipped them altogether some of the names i'm hearing here for the first time...jazakAllahu khairan for doing that and pointing out the fitna.
Well as someone who read some of their articles I can say that some of them are good while some are just bad and problematic , the problem is that if someone comes across the good articles first , he may be inclined to agree with the bad ones just because they trust them and that could lead many people astray sadly

Im not defending anyone but many people put certain mashaikh above and beyond their own levels. This is pure cult. Only the prophet is blameless and free from imperfection.

I know my level of knowledge with the deen i attended madrasa from mid 80's to 90's the rest is personal research. Some of their misguidance may slip through leading to doubts so i avoided it doesn't mean i put anyone on pedestal beside prophet Muhammad S.A.W. and You don't know me personally to make that "cultish" conclusion you're drawing above.

On Mufti Menk, one must use the methodology of Allah and his messenger in dawah. Islam was not presented to the Meccan people all at once and it does not need to be presented all at once when giving dawah. One needs not only knowledge but wisdom and the methodology of the Prophet (saw) when giving dawah to non Muslims. Even when the prophet sent Muath bin Jabal to give dawah in Yemen he had instructions to present Islam step by step and not all at once. The problem with too many salafis is that you think your own interpretation is the whole of the deen when it is only your own interpretation, and in many cases a faulty interpretation. One's desires can lead people not only being too lenient but also too strict and close minded. Shaytan attacks us from every angle.
I live down the road from salafi publications and used to attend the mosque for many years but inside I always knew that they had no intentions of unifying and the big egos was the issue I could tell you many stories of how crazy they would get when you don’t agree with them but it would hurt me more than it would sadden me to see brothers in this situation I always have and still dream that one day they would unify

Abdullah bhukari lying on hadiths, Abdul Wahid arrested, Hani a kawarij, Arafat attacking scholars Sh Ubayd has praised (though abd. bhukari said refuting is fard al khaffayah - and he praised hani), Fawad and ibn silfiq's errors with Allah's Tawhid Asma wa Siffat, they use sufi style ghulu and hate between the Madkhali sheikhs against the salafi mathhab, they lie, they have an imam erring in Aqidah, making errors on Quran, Jesus & shia style statements they themselves suggest accusations of zina, the oppression and double standards is clear, they are not to say this is salafiyah and are to retract.
their silence in this point may not even be humble but can be even understood as arrogance, - so they aren't to be silent, they are too retract unless they bring new info...
I have seen jahils of spubs say things like "why you comment (on modesty) when your view on this person is this" , what does modesty have to do with my differring as things unfold? this is the type of hizbiya you see there... why are they attacking your ibada... but it was only some of them to be fair. and i used to listen to spubs more often before, the tarbiya could be better if this is the case, you know i try to do my part, and thats on top of their bad errors and sin they should repent for things that aren't small if they are honest, lets put it that way.

On mufti-menk: People of today's world are suffering more and more in silence, even amongst the Muslim......Some hearts cannot and isn't ready to take speeches that are loud, with firm and almost angry tonality...Speeches delivered in such manner... are least likely to reach the hearts of Muslims who are suffering and traumatised by people who uses the same angry tonality who had caused their trauma in the first place........ With Mufti Menk, i can see he's appealed to many of people i know about Islam... people who suffered from semi abusive parents for example...... I infact, growing up and making mistakes....had to relearn Islam from People with speeches that soothes the heart... it's inviting to enter a learning journey into the more serious parts of Islam...... I hope this gives a healthy food for thought :)

And then I came across your name and I have seen each video of your initial transformation. Masha Allah you have that same straight forward attitude and always speak the truth as per the teachings of Quran and Sunnah. And you do not shy away for criticising Scholars who are wrong be it NAK or M Menk. It's not just about gaining popularity by portraying a rosy picture of Islam. The actual facts and realities needs to be taught also. Over the years both have failed to do. Recent videos and actions by brother Mufti Menk raised questions in my mind and I hope he really thinks about it sooner otherwise, knowingly or unknowingly he might be misguiding a huge number of his followers.

I'm glad you at least had the courage to reach out to Tahir. We're here in Philly with him, he reads/teaches from the scholars of the salaf and he mixes with the Salafis in Philadelphia on a daily basis. SPUBS affiliates here in Philly do not have the courage to contact Tahir when in most cases he easily available and only about at 20 minute car drive.
Your knowledge has benefited me for years. You remind me of Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem. I love the points you made near to the end of the video that we (Scholars and Muslims) shouldn't be afraid to deliver the true image of Islam to the Non-Muslims. And if our false representation of Islam leads to them reverting, they may then discover the true essence of Islam, and then abandon Islam once more. I never thought of it like that.

Excellent points about Mufti Menk. Although I like him, I agree with you. We shouldn't only speak about what the people want to hear. Sometimes we have to address controversial issues that need to be addressed.
If we are not sure about something, say nothing. In shaa Allah some ulama' choose not to talk about controversial things. Else, they will be attacked and the message about Islam won't get far. Can you help provide proof to show Yaqeen support LGBT? I am so confused.

I have a thought that Ust. Abu Mussab choosing to do hijrah and refusing to live in the West (America at that) is allowing him to stay so steadfast on the truth. These da’ees in America, part of their problem is that they are affected by their environment around them. Politics and media shape everyone’s actions here, and no one is exempt.
Actually, there are also many brothers in the West who refuse to become deviated, and remain upon the haqq. Take our dear brother Imam Karim AbuZaid from Colorado, for example. He is someone who I love dearly even tho I'm not from the West, simply because he strives to remain upon the correct methodology, his love for tawheed and his khutbahs & series (esp. Right Belief Series) always give me tremendous motivation.
While what you're saying is true for the most part, But honestly speaking, anyone who has a disease or a crookedness in his heart will ultimately deviate, and that is what happens to most du'aat in America. A person who's sincere, he'll utilize all the means at his/her disposal to protect himself/herself from being affected by the hyper-negative environment surrounding him.

I do not know the issue with Mufti Menk, but what is wrong with someone who wishes to specialize their dawah? The way I see it, Mufti Menk has focused on giving a soft and welcoming call to Islam. There are people (non Muslims) who follow him because of his positive messages. If they are on a binge of his videos and come across a harsh video, it may turn them cold when they were beginning to warm up. Even Musa (as) was told to give Firaun dawah and to speak nicely.
Theres a difference between speaking nicely of the deen and compromising for it

Also, harshness is subjective... if you are upon the truth and stern upon it, the people of innovations and disbelievers will perceive you to be too harsh and extreme. With this, if you are to succumb and then try to please you them (to earn 'everyone's' love), you will be on the wrong and you will ultimately jeopardize your deen.
Moreover, no matter what you do, everyone can't love you, why can't to then seek Allāh's love, the Lord of everyone?

As Far as the contents I watched I didn't notice any of these things you're saying. But i do try to see things in a better perspective so i don't fall for the wrong sayings of anyone. The First is a series of trendsetters revivers and others. It helped me in learning a lot about the life of the great companions of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم۔.

Honestly, i couldn't bring myself to watch through any of yaqeen institute videos or read through their articles. I just skipped them altogether some of the names i'm hearing here for the first time...jazakAllahu khairan for doing that and pointing out the fitna.
Well as someone who read some of their articles I can say that some of them are good while some are just bad and problematic , the problem is that if someone comes across the good articles first , he may be inclined to agree with the bad ones just because they trust them and that could lead many people astray sadly

@@aqa7401 maybe you misunderstood what i wrote "i couldn't watch through it" meaning I already spotted red flags in what they're presenting and skipped the rest. I know my level of knowledge with the deen i attended madrasa from mid 80's to 90's the rest is personal research. Some of their misguidance may slip through leading to doubts so i avoided it doesn't mean i put anyone on pedestal beside prophet Muhammad S.A.W. and You don't know me personally to make that "cultish" conclusion you're drawing above.
@@aqa7401 There is inshaAllah for sure different Brothers that have tried to advice them even one brother used to be with then and help them in beginning he have left them and their organisation as they seem not to have taken advice at all especially when big mistakes that go totally against quran and sunnah in very big grave issues that one can not continue to be with such if they didnt change. And they didnt sadly after advice. : ( So inshaAllah better for us to stay 100 percent away from them and their organisation if you are common man you shouldnt listen to such things like what they promot.

My Uncle who was preaching manhaj us salaf ,had a long beard,used speak tawheed, Left manhaj as salaf and joined yaqqeen institute and became a fan on Yasir qadhi...wallahi seen it live and asked me to leave bcz its cult!

On Mufti Menk, one must use the methodology of Allah and his messenger in dawah. Islam was not presented to the Meccan people all at once and it does not need to be presented all at once when giving dawah. One needs not only knowledge but wisdom and the methodology of the Prophet (saw) when giving dawah to non Muslims. Even when the prophet sent Muath bin Jabal to give dawah in Yemen he had instructions to present Islam step by step and not all at once. The problem with too many salafis is that you think your own interpretation is the whole of the deen when it is only your own interpretation, and in many cases a faulty interpretation. One's desires can lead people not only being too lenient but also too strict and close minded. Shaytan attacks us from every angle.
I live down the road from salafi publications and used to attend the mosque for many years but inside I always knew that they had no intentions of unifying and the big egos was the issue
I could tell you many stories of how crazy they would get when you don’t agree with them but it would hurt me more than it would sadden me to see brothers in this situation
I always have and still dream that one day they would unify
