I sometimes dress Victorian with a slight Victorian Goth influence. I find the style extremely fascinating. I also have a few suggestions on Victorian Gothic music...I would say any Symphonic Metal band is perfect, seeing as how it incorporates Classical elements. Also, maybe check out Victorian Parlor music. Those type of songs set the mood perfectly.

Hi. #Orphea . I like your video of #victoriangoth , I been dressing Victorian Goth since early 90s. I can't wear these types of footwear Pointy Toe Boots Mens Shoes because I have foot problems. I do wear not to high platform boots. I do listen these music, I listen to #noxarcana , #petergunrdy , #deadcandance , #FAUN , many more music I listen to, I listen lot of Classical music, Opera.
I wouldn’t exactly call myself only goth but also emo, alt, punk. I don’t really have the motivation or body I want to dress how I want. but my wardrobe is literally only black t shirts and jeans/ leggings.I also love wearing eyeliner when I go out. I love the beauty in the darkness. It really just pulls me in. I also think being apart of this/these subcultures plays a part politically. I think if you’re conservative and say your goth/alt/punk it’s really just an oxymoron. I listen to punk/goth/emo music too and I’m starting to get more into screamo. Would I be considered goth?
How they romanticise the mourning the important role of fashion through their mourning and why goth never dies it became an institution although I consider myself as baby bat I do listen to Gothic and Emo songs can I mix that? Because some goth doesnt want emo
wow I feel sorry for those women who lived back in victorian age, with all those clothing they had to put on they must of been burning up in the summer, and the it look it must of took them 3 hours to put on their cloths on and take them off, and corsets that had to be painful to put on
Corsets are actually better for the back than modern bras are, and the fabrics they used for their clothes were much more breathable and better for summer weather
This was a wonderfully done video. I tend toward no makeup so that really works for me that ladies weren't really supposed to show make up/Victorian Gothic is my favorite style, and being history obsessed this was so well done. "Hippie Goth" was very much a thing, in the 1990s! Babylonian Tiles was the ultimate Hippie Goth band. 🦇
Unfortunately, their singer, Brynna Gold, died some years ago, and to little notice (well, compared to what I'd expected). 😢

It depends on what you consider yourself, but honestly it doesnt matter, we are not boxes why need labels. Just be your own unique self 🖤
