The resistor, inductor, and transistor make as an oscillator circuit. Oscillator converts a DC to AC. As an AC is passed through the coil, an alternating magnetic field gets created. The alternating magnetic field induces and AC in the secondary coil (just like a transformer). The LED is connected to the secondary coil. Hence, the LED blinks. It blinks so fast that we see as if it is glowing constantly.

I would love to request all the science students come & watch his channel.
As I told you before, you should submit some of your experiments to NASA as a desi science model or as a first step of scientific reactions, though all of your experiments are marvellous to watch..

According to law of electromagnetic induction, electric current is produced when the magnetic flux of any coil is changed with time,so as you started the experiment, the LED should glow but soon it'll be stopped and same happens when you turned off the battery,
Rest is false because battery provides a constant current means no change with time and if still the LED glows means it's violating the magnetic law of induction.
So if it is working in your case the it's not a battery ,it will a capacitor

Just use a diode on secondary side...
For more smooth wave(D.C.) add a bridge rectifier then rc filter and a series regulator... directly you can't charge a battery bcoz it is AC supply.

The basic principle of this is "Electromagnetic Induction".
"If there is a current is flows in a closed coil, then there will be a 🧲magnetic field, and if another coil is brought near to it, the the 'flux' will changes and there will be a 'induced current' in second coil."
Hence,, by induced current the bulb start glow. 🙂
