What an awesome video! I was able to really see Shanghai and the amazing way it blends the traditional and modern. It also highlighted the long history of China. I definitely want to visit Shanghai now...
Yes, I got the sense while I visited China that it was the ‘source,’ or ‘mother country’ historically, and culturally, for many of the Asian countries surrounding it. My curiosity and thirst to know more about China only increased after this visit. Thanks for your comment! 😊
imagine if your country didn't want to obey western countries... then ZA would discuss your country every day... even traditional houses would be called rickety old huts 🎉🎉
Note to self. When travelling to a country, observe and adopt the customs, e.g. if no one is cuing in line, then do the same, don't cue in line. If you are strong in character and can adapt to quickly then life is less challenging because you've steps up by adopting to norms. Life throws you these challenges, are you up for the challenge? ☯
The camera doesn’t do Shanghai justice because you need to point the camera at the city so that people get to see what the city look like instead of always pointing the camera at your own face all the time!
The biased reporting of China by the West also has its advantages, as it protects China and allows it to develop in a low-key manner. China is weak and will not pose any threat, thus reducing hatred.

Filmed in beautiful Tibet, "August" 2024 is an Award Winning remarkable and healing documentary that marks the directorial debut of Chinese actor, singer, and writer Zhang Zhehan. The story is about a Chinese youth seeking inner peace in the real world after surviving an unprecedented national vicious cyberattack. The documentary is available on RUclips, IMDB, and cos tv.
In China, the only thing you have to do is relax and enjoy, there is nothing to worry about. No guns, no streets that you can't go to in the middle of the night, and the best thing is that you don't have to pay tips.😁
Thank you for acknowledging the differences in mannerisms I’m China. As an overseas Chinese, this bothers me too. But you’ve put it so mildly, so yeah, thanks again. When I think a bit more, there’s something in the Chinese, but I might be wrong, that makes them think, Chinese workers are very capable of multi tasking and the idea of privacy is so deep rooted in western culture but a western minded person will feel it rude to have the person serving us taken away their attention from us, if it makes sense.
Of course! Something that wasn’t covered fully in the video was me saying that what is considered ‘rude’ is different in each country, but I could really tell that Chinese people are friendly. Also, I am not Chinese at all, but I have many mainland and overseas Chinese friends. It was a good experience!
Coz it's cash. It is against the law if any store doesn't accept cash. So yes everyone can use cash, but Alipay and wechat pay are mostly used. People tend to carry only phone and pocket tissue when they go out.
I really like the way you speak, very calm and gentlemanly. Very few people are interested in the process of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party. Do you remember the Google Translate you used when you ordered? You can try to translate the Chinese on the wall with the camera. Also, you can find the former site of the South Korean government nearby, which was also originally founded in Shanghai. The duck blood soup you ate is a Nanjing specialty and you are welcome to visit Nanjing sometime. I hope you have a great time in Shanghai and look forward to more video updates.
Hi, yep, I'm sure Google Translate is no good. And of course I did not think China is a back water. In fact, I think it's the opposite of a back-water...
@@kierankell4495 Good to know. China is being unfairly demonised by Western countries (including Australia), their politicians, their media, until even their citizens bash China without knowing China. Enjoy your stay, you will find the locals very friendly and helpful.

China has a large population. Simple questions can be asked in just a few words, just ask them directly. So it can’t be compared to New Zealand, where queuing takes some time. This creates congestion. My English is not good. Have a nice journey🎉
Wow! Shanghai is so beautiful and peaceful!👍Thanks for the video!
It's a great place
Wow, lovely to watch. Just followed you channel and its really amazing. Keep supporting. Love and respect from China.

您得先了解中國,因為日本和韓國都是從中國延伸出去的。😊我的意思是,中國有五千年歷史,其它東方國家的歷史沒有中國悠久,但有些歷史是互相影響交流,中國這塊土地有很多故事。😊

Western media is a joke. Not only is information distorted to fit a propaganda format there are fictitious people telling the lies.

Inside the dumplings was not oil, it was soup.
It is juice and fat oil from the meat after cooking,

Finger print requirement at every port of entry to Malaysia. It is not unusual.
Yang is not dumpling. it is more like a pan-gilled bun. Dumpling is water boiled or steam cooked.

What about people who can't read? I mean the modern world can't just cater to every single person if they can't get with time.
