Another great story Wayne. Loving the series so far. I had a similar experience with a much smaller, more intimate scene. Every day on my drive to work I pass a residential property out in the country. On the property there is a small serene pond that had a large mature willow tree next to it. Being that I drove the route every day I saw it under a multitude of beautiful conditions over the years. I always told myself I needed to get out there on a weekend and shoot the scene when conditions were right. To my horror I drove by the scene one morning on my way to work to see that the property owner had cut down the willow tree forever destroying that wonderful scene! To this day I kick myself that I never got out there to shoot it. Too late now it's gone forever. A lesson that the landscape is forever changing and to never take a scene for granted as it may not always be there.

I remember that place! Itwas so awesome. Unfortunatly the lens I had when I took it was "damaged", so nothing was in perfect focus :(
