"Samson Agonistes," The Argument, a play to read outloud, not be performed. Samson made captive, blind, and now in the prison of at Gaza, there to labour as common workhouse on a festival-day, in the general cessation from labor as it comes forth into the open air, to a place nigh, somewhat retired, there to sit awhile and bemoan his condition; where he happens at length to be visited by certain friends can; then told by his old father Manoah, who endeavors the likeand equals of his tribe, which makes the chorus, who seek to comfort him what they his life purpose his liberty by ramsome; and, lastly that this feast was th hands of Sampson which yet more troubles him. I love listening to Juan Cole, he's so knowledgeable. I've been a big fan of his ever since he exposed and opposed the lies that led to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, he was one of the most insightful and informative experts on the subject, at that time, as I recall.

if you condemn the Palestinian resistance, you must also condemn the Algerian revolution and Algeria would still be french. Taking captives was the goal for an exchange with Palestinians prisoners. Now, what happened October 7, we have only the Israel version of the event and considering they are professional liars, why should we believe them? and what would you have done if you were Palestinian. But now, Palestine fate is again a priority. Israel thought they had it made with their colonial project, it's over.
I get what you’re saying but Khamas hasn’t denied all of what happened on 10/7. What we know so far, is that it wasn’t just khamas who entered Israel. Eventually other groups, such as the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, etc, & even some of the civilians of Gaza, also went in, & they might be the ones who did some of the more controversial things which were done, such as the taking of civilian hostages, etc. Khamas has admitted this & that it made them lose control of the situation. Til this day, some of the Israeli hostages are being kept by those others who took them & Khamas isn’t always sure of exactly where they are. In fact, one Gazan civilian recently killed the Israeli hostage that he took & whom he was still holding at his home.

They are the same people, Isralites were in Historic Palestine after returning from captivity from Egypt and Babylon later back in Historic Palestine only to be massacred by the Romans. When the Romans became Christian some Israelites were also converted to Christianity. Islam came and majority of the Israelites converted to Islam and became Arabized and defended Palestine from the Christian invaders from Europe known as Crusaders. The Crusaders failed in their attempts to totally conquer the Muslim Israelites. Then came the new Israel Zionist copy of Crusaders in the name of claiming the God gifted lands to the Jews citing biblical passage. Therefore the Isralites and Israel are not the same people.

Juan Cole supported the US & NATO bombing and intervention in Libya 🇱🇾 in 2011. Obama later called his actions in Libya his “biggest mistake”.
