The desalination project failed in the Cape Town harbour, at what cost to the tax payers? South Africa has been researching millipore technology for years at US, generally hugely expensive in every respect. Gayton is a sophist, there is a big difference between the PA as a coalition partner for the ANC, and the DA. The DA would have policy conditions for the ANC to agree too, or they wouldn't join with the ANC, this includes getting rid of BEE: has Gayton got any conditions for his power sharing arrangement? no. he hasnt. Chalk and Cheese... its got nothing to do with racism, its got to do with ideology: the PA has no ideology, only a thirst for power, the DA can make a deal with the ANC, because it will get something for it, that will be in the interests of all South Africans.
Gayton's whole fake argument, is centered around the DA and the PA being the same kind of political party: they are not. The PA should adopt the same conditions that the DA has for the ANC, if they want to complain about the DA wanting to form coalition with the ANC. Also, its not empty talk, that this is the DA's last option, after the rainbow coalition fails to reach the numbers needed to form a government.... Gayton continues to pick and choose the facts that he responds to, and leaves all the substance forgotten, behind him. The PA is a party for people who don't have a memory, only the latest populist message that Gayton produces: lacking in principles and consistent ideology.

Honestly the DA would lose all the support they have been working to build. If I had any idea this could be true, the DA will have lost my support and that of many. Sorry but I don't see this happening when you consider the way the DA have been handling the whole taxi strike situation. Openly going against them. It was risky but ultimately it worked. I feel this guy is still bitter about the DA and still wants to undermine them. Just pointing my opinion.

Ask the DA if they would consider bringing the Patriotic Front, The Freedom Front and the Action SA together to join them in negotiating a National Government coalition with the ANC. I think that would bring better stability to SA
