Tremendous cover of Bob's VERY BEST SONG. So great I think it must have been written with divine help. First time I heard it I knew that I would never hear a better song.
This song also touched me when I heard it for the first time, so I spontaneously asked my friend to make a video with the song. We both didn't have a lot of money back then, so it became a low Budget Thunfisch and we had some fun.
I can't think of better lyrical phrasing on any Dylan song. Any one of the good phrases would be enough to build another top shelf song onto. Think about it. Its true.
@@chrislowry213 That is so true> No other song has such a series of unmatchable lyrics; Would have loved to watch Bob creating this. This is that masterpiece he was once talking about. "A lot of water under the bridge/ a lot of other stuff too." Know the feeling.
Great version! You capture the spirit of Bob’s performance. My only regret is that it isn’t on Spotify so I can add it to by best Dylan covers playlist.
You say that you have loved forever, you lucky fellow I only got to hear this song a few weeks ago, now you know how much I have missed by not getting to hear this song long ago
@@danielsteuri3459 When recording "Desolation Row" don't forget to include those 47 verses Dylan edited out cuz it was taking up too much of his life time....
This is an Oscar winning song...and Bob Dylan deserved both the prize and applauses for it. These guys are not bad at all but...they are not Bob Dylan!
We don‘t want to be BD at all, no one can either. We just tried to interpretate this nterresting tune. The words are quiet tricky and it took me some time to learn😅
Not so unknown to the many non-Dylan fans who loved the movie whose soundtrack this was written for. The movie called Wonder Boys was about the private lives of a couple of residential university professors lives back when there was still tenure and college professors weren't turned into Adjunct Professors on 1-semester or tri-mester contracts then move on. Dylan somehow captures those Political Economy worries as beginning to be experienced by the previously privileged like he somehow captures the 9-11-01 global changes stirring just months after this movie and soundtrack album was released! Call it well-attuned artist's intuition. This song with the Swiss accented verses and superb musicianship with the subtle tempo shifts perhaps even better than Dylan and session players' version. Needless to say after the Y2K scare as we approached the New Millennium and after 9-11-01 and 2 Alan Greenspan called for Washington & Daddy Warbucks wars against countries who didn't attack us, our current year 3 or 4 of Global Pandemic In Perpetuity also makes a too-perfect reason to add this particular song "Things Have Changed" to all mix discs and tapes if ipod humans still use tape or compact discs. Tasty solo--restrained, melodious instead of ambitious. The lyrics could be anything, wouldn't matter. The visuals could be anime. The tune walks you to the bus depot. Can go anywhere you want from there. Thx.
This is a great cover.... but strangely, it sounds to me more like a Leonard Cohen cover. It's like Cohen covering Dylan covering Cohen if you get what I mean....
"People are crazy and times are strange" so relevant right now. Great cover guys!!
❤
Great version and wow, what a nice acoustic guitar solos. Thanks for sharing 🌟🌟🌟👍
Musically and visually captures the essence of the song. Great cover.

Interesting to hear a Dylan song sung in this accent. Strangely fitting !
a Swiss German accent 🙂
@@roadshowrecordings Yes ! Schweizerdeutsch ! I knew I'd heard it before somewhere. Thank you.
The accent is named „singlish“😂
Great job👍

V very good cover and enjoyable, like the way you sing and phrase it. Maybe try Desolation Row?
