Hi, I noticed that the dimensions appear whenever you drag or resize a shape. How can I enable that?
Hi Daniel,
1. Go to the “view” tab
2. Look for the “Show” subtab
3. Click on the expand option
4. Check “Display smart guides when shapes are aligned”
Hope this helps 👍
@@SlideSkills ticked that box. However, the dimensions do not appear like how it appears in yours. For e.g. 0:49
@@angjinmingnot sure what that could be. I’m working on a Mac, maybe that’s what’s different. However I’m also frequently using a windows pc, and haven’t noticed too much of a difference
When I select the rectangle after bringing text to the front, merge shapes is greyed out and is not an option for me to use. I’ve checked to see if it is locked or grouped and it is not
Hi Kiley, have you selected both the rectangle and the text at the same time. You can select multiple objects while holding control.
@@SlideSkills I did not select the text as well! Thanks!
Hi, after sending the photos to the back, I noticed there is an outline of the shape which doesnt go away. If I do select "No Line" from Shape fill, the text gets difficult to read. Could you help me sort it out asap?
Hi, I would suggest “no outline” combined with a drop shadow to create more depth and increase readability 👍
@@SlideSkills Thankyou so much.🫶
Happy to help 🙏
Hi! When I press the subtract option, the letters and the white frame disappear. Can you help me please
Hi Luis, that’s because some items might be grouped together. Make sure none of the texts or shapes are grouped before you subtract. Alternatively it could also be the shape that needs to be send to the back, so the text is in front
Had the same problem. You have to use a textbox for the text, It cant be the header :) but very nice tutorial :)
The subtract option is not working ..... I mean that when click on it the whole quote with the shape got removed so I used "Combine " instead and it worked .. is it ok ?
Yes I think that works as well 🙏💜
My ppt doesn"t have transparency in format picture, what should I do ?
Hi, are you working on a recent version of ppt?
@@SlideSkills Idk how, can we discuss this problem via another convenient way, do u have fb or ig account ?
@@SlideSkills im working in powerpoint 2016 on window maybe
Its not possible to turn the transparency on in any images that I've selected :(
Are you working on a recent version of ppt?
@@SlideSkills just realized that I'm not haha
😂😂
How to send the cropped part back ???
Right click and send to back 👍
U go to fast
Hi, thanks for the feedback, I’ve slowed down a lot in my more recent tutorials 🙏💜
