I am a 67 year old power lifter for my age and I still have a six pack abs.
You are right, I see many people training very hard but without results. You have good abdominal exercises, but your diet also fits in with your training. Nutrition is also important, otherwise training your abdominal muscles is a waste of time. For my age I don't eat sugar or fried food, I do cook fried fish and fried chicken in the air fryer. I am completely healthy and strong for my age and I have been exercising for 50 years and I still enjoy it and I'm also going to the gym today.

Josh I love the way you are loyal to us as the viewers. I really admire your honesty video you made on the things you quit that was taking much of your time and energy but rather invest that time in building and developing your spiritual life. I was really touched by every bit of words you said and it changed my life right on the spot. I live a good life and have quit all bad aspects of my life. Thank you 🙏 so much. Please continue the good works and keep changing lives ❤

I’m honestly not judging because I use testosterone myself, but do you really admire someone for their spirituality if they’re also doing something that is 100% against the word of god? I believe you’re not supposed to put anything damaging or foreign in your body, if you’re a religious person. Believe what you want and be inspired by whomever you like, but I wouldn’t think you’d want to take inspiration from a hypocrite.

I wouldn't recommend doing too much abs targeting with strength or weights. Reason being is most people are not this guy. So you'll just end up pushing your stomach out more and the abs won't even show unless you are below a certain fat %. You'll end up looking fat and or bloated and even possibly just more discouraged. Until you are around the 15 and below fat %, just focus on other more prominent muscle groups and keep doing deadlifts and other full body excercises. That will most likely be better for the average gym goer.
Great advice for advanced people but advanced people probably already know these.

Don't bother with any ab exercise that can't be done with weights that you can use to progressively overload the abs. Abs are like any other muscle. They grow with progressive overload and getting close to failure on each set. Most ab exercises are a waste of your time if your goal is to thicken the ab muscles.

The dumbbell side bend exercise doesnt work any muscles. Its not a good exercise. There are no muscles on your side obliques that run up and down. They run diagonally. So you aren't work any muscle when you do that.

Hi Josh I just recently had bariatric surgery. I go to the gym regularly and eat right. I lost 60 pounds. My original weight is 140 I had gained a hundred pounds. I didn't gain this weight by eating I gained it by relaxing my inner self to deal with fat. I hate it. Usually Iam pshically fit. Like an olpimya of course my beliefs are different 😉. I'm cool my self esteem is better then most. What the best exercise I can do when not busy meaning when I get off of work. I love burning fat, dieting and exercising. I have a body that Iam 42. And look alot younger looking. I'm not into the tightness overly fit. Just plain beautiful without hurting me or anyone else. It comes with anger management 😉😅@@JoshBailey4
