Amazing - I watched this video earlier this year and felt the same kind of envy. Three weeks ago I bought its twin - a 65 fastback with a 289 and a 4-speed in Caspian Blue. Dave's car is more built than mine, but with the hood down from 10 feet away, they're the same car! Dreams do come true. :)
Dave that was amazing 🤩!!!! It reminds me of of the movie with Steve McQueen BULLIT that was some movie and that car was in it with a charger chase scene oh the good old days!!!!!
Likely to start a storm but i actually prefer the 68/69 model , i think its the rear end that i prefer. That was a very nice resto job though and a nice colour .
Stunning detail in the engine bay! If you’re ever back in Scotland you’d be made very welcome if you’d like to talk cars and have a look over my Nova kit car 😊
Wheels and tires size? OK these are not standard. I like that they just fit!!!! Can someone tell me what size tire they are and where to buy the rims. thanks mark
You liked the small lights in the grille..Dave he didn't understand what you meant You are talking about the GT PACKAGE It included special lights on a bar added to the grille. Special GT badges on the front fenders along with a side lower stripe an I think a beautiful set of trumpet exhaust through the rear lower pan. All these parts are available..
Needs a slight stance adjustment - a tad to high in the rear and front. Some drop springs up front and lowering blocks out back would dial it in nicely. Nice ride though.
Nice ride but as you say not my cup of tea. Bad habit but I'm a chevy junkie I'd have to pressure wash the drive after he left. Lol just kidding very nice ride he should be proud of it. I remember back when they came out actually it was 1967 when I stopped at Tasca Ford and looked at one salesman came out I told him beautiful car to bad it wasn't a Chevy. Left there and went down the street and purchased a 1967 Camero. Don't tell anyone but I can still picture that green fastback .

The most beautiful mustang ever made!
Very cool Dave!!
Great video!
Very nice Mustang!
Nice car, I have had the same one with a white interior since 1978
Knew that there would be atleast one comment that goes something like this. I'm not a Ford guy but. Lol gotta love it.

Hey, there's no crime in preferring something else. That's what makes us all individual. The world would be dull if we all liked the same thing.
68 and 69 aren't even the same style...
nice pony car and I really like the color

Wow just plain wow. Awesome car.
I'm not a Mustang guy but that was a nice one....nice idea inviting guests...now back to work....

I need to find a picture of what I meant. I thought the small lights were inset into the grille. Still loved this car though.
Cool car! I might have to drop by with one of my cars this summer...
The day Ford had a better idea. Exotic beauty
I have two of them in my building that need restored One of these days Both are 65 fastbacks
You need to get on that!!! lol
I am working on a 29 model A for now
This is the first bench seat fastback I've seen. It kinda take away some sportiness but as an original I would have kept it bench too👍
Great car . I have a 66 Fastback in red here in the UK , love that Caspian blue though .
Would love to see it.

What size is the wheels and tires?
If your coming to perth west australia get in touch with me 👍
Once Elon invents teleportation, I'll be right over.
When the guy pops open the hood before he even introduces himself.
LOL, he's just proud of what he's built.
what size tires is on this Beautifull car
Same dream car🙂
I have a 66 FB you might fancy - bigger motor - quite a bit more radical....let me know.
I agree
Just curious, Was he interested in Bugsy as well?
That guy is only interested in himself
Yes, we talked a lot about Bugsy, but this video was not about me or my cars.
@@jedm1466 Sounds like someone is jealous. We don't do rude on this channel. Be nice or be gone.
Drool indeed! Hope you got a passenger ride in it at least.
I was too busy drooling and forgot to ask.
@@ScottRods aargh! On the other hand, if you rock up and someone pretty much says that's their dream car I know you'd be first to offer a ride in it.
@@simonfr77 Ailsa and I were just talking about that. Might do some "Bugsy drive reaction" videos.
