I understand how you feel Scott about leaving your home in Philippines but you're going back to a wonderful country, clean place, good food and good income.Dont wish it away, Millions would love to be going with you, anyway have.a good trip and stay safe.
I notice millions of people still coming to the US for a better life, not Philippines.
True
Bataan is cleaner
I think millions are coming with us just taking a more southern route...Good to be back in the USA. Will always love and appreciate this place! Thanks for watching!
Safe travels Scott and family!!!❤ we enjoyed your travels around the Philippines!! See you back in Oklahoma
Thanks so much!
Welcome back Scott, Cecile, and Liam! My first stop any time I come back from the Philippines is always Whataburger. In fact, it was the first place I tool my wife when she immigrated to the U.S. 18 months ago. She loved it too! She's also grown to love Chuy's Tex-Mex, Chicken Express, Chipotle, and anything from Buccee's. Agree with you on the security camera. Thanks for verifying the camera you bought on Amazon works over there. I will be sure to pick one up for our home in Kalibo the next time I go over this year. Loved the house tour on the other videos. Enjoy the cold weather in OK. It's been pretty cold this past week here in Texas.
Thank you very much! Glad you are enjoying the videos. We have now arrived and it is extremely cold lol...
God Bless you Cecile on feeling better for your travel back to Oklahoma.
Thank you! God Bless
Time flies when you are on vacation. I enjoyed all the videos during the holidays.Have a safe travel.
Thanks so much!
The most time that I spent in the Philippines was for 10 months and I was fine with eating food without really feeling like I was missing American food or te variety of foods. The thing that I love about being in the Philippines is that I'm not surrounded by junk foods and I eat healthier there than here in the States. I always lose weight when I'm in the Philippines and gain the weight back when I return. I can't wait to retire in the Philippines so I can enjoy life.
Enjoyed all your videos in the Philipines.Have a safe trip home Scott Cecile an Liam.
Great to hear! Thank you very much!
The bird to me looked like a baby parrot, OR a oversized parakeet! Lol.
Good morning have a safe flight and god bless us all
Thank you! God bless
I 100% agree about the food in the States. After 4 straight years of living in the Phils, I finally returned back to the U.S for a summer vacay in 2023. With the exception of reuniting with my family, the food in the States was the biggest thing I was looking forward to. Have a safe trip and enjoy the foods. Make sure to vlog your first few meals upon your return.
Thank you! We will be sure to share some dining experiences with all of you. Looking forward to digging into some outstanding meals here in the US!
Safe travels for you and your family. Blink is also my choice in US, but I use a different system in our house in the PI. Steaks here in the PI are not in most places not going to be of the same quality. Grass fed beef as well as Grain Fed can be found in the high end Restaurants in the High End Hotels are very good, but the price will give you sticker shock. It's Beef from New Zealand, Australia etc and very good. Best wishes for the future plans on retiring in the PI. You are preparing well and I have no doubt you will strongly positioned to be successful in Retirement. I am here for another month and a half looking forward to going to one of the Beaches you spoke to me about. Thanks again.
I have been very shocked at the prices of quality steaks here. Probably why I haven't made any videos of me eating one lol. Hope you enjoy the beach!
Safe travels and hope cecile is feeling better, we will be leaving to go to the philippines the middle of next month wife's family lives in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija.
Thank you! Have a safe trip also!
Have a safe trip . Hopefully minimal jet lag , lol

Just hearing from you the journey from Philippines to Dallas, i feel tired already 😁
It's pretty rough lol.
Yes the USA IS THE BEST COUNTRY grest food better life. I have friend moved everything to Phillipines then after 8 months sid nope lets go back to usa
Have a safe trip back here in the states. I have 4 more months left to pull the plug. Take care guys.
Thank you! Congrats on your upcoming retirement!
@@Marker44 you’re very welcome. Hopefully, I can meet you guys when you get back to the Philippines. Take care.
@@Marker44 I forgot, I have a house in pampangga also.
Any speculation on how many more years until you retire?
Good video!
55 currently and 62 is my SS target age. Hoping for 5 years or less to make the move over.
The flights to and fro are a killer, even just to New Zealand or back to Mactan Cebu, we dislike it especially we are not getting any younger. Its always a relief to arrive at either destination for us. Worse when the passengers behind, bang your seat or the ones in front shove their seat back in your face. We usually fly with Singapore Airlines or Air New Zealand. Have a good trip, for what it's worth. LoL.
I always dread the travel back and forth. One big reason why I don't think I could continue going back and forth in retirement, aside from the cost.
your not a baby sir im retired from the army and about 45 days in the province is rough for me but i do loose a few lbs. 5 months a year in the philipines
Thanks for watching!
Funny if the birds name is Dee.
that would be a parody then
Seems like you got your bases covered. Can you actually monitor your home in the Philippines while you're in Oklahoma using Blink camera system?
yes we can monitor, get movement alerts, and have 2 way communication from Oklahoma to Philippines.
@Marker44 ...Wow! I thought "no way" that I could monitor my home in the Philippines while back in the States due to WiFi issues. I use Arlo on my home here and was thinking of switching to Blink.
Arlo has too many issues that make me deal with the customer service Indians a lot It's a pain in the ku. How do you charge your cameras in the PI from OK?
@@kimojames808 we keep our wifi going in the Philippines while we are gone for the cameras to have signal. Ours work off of a two year battery. I believe they also have solar powered available if you have enough sunlight.
Looks like from the time you leave the house in Bataan to go to Manila airport, to the time you arrive in OKC:
3 + 3 + 4 + 6 + 12.5 + 1 + 3 = 32.5 hrs?...OMG!...Id be dead!...😢
We feel as tho we are...I always tell Cecile it is like being tortured for a day and a half.
It's a lovebird
