This was an interesting watch. I am a white American woman of Scottish and Irish descent and happened on to the Korean series "Stranger" (crime drama) when I was bored of what Netflix offered for American series. I like other international series but got hooked by the extensive content put out by Korea. The dramas have led to a fascination with the history and the culture. So interesting..... It has made me more likely to buy a Korean brand and to upgrade my skincare. I am still not interested in Kpop but I like Korean Indie (1415, Krr and the like). I love the sound of the language even if I do not yet understand it. I am planning a fall trip and look forward to the history, the architecture, the museums, and what looks like a beautiful landscape. I am also happily learning to cook a number of Korean dishes. Kimchi is a daily part of my meals. It suits my taste. The good manners you describe for Korean men were all standard for my generation (maybe not the current generation). Men, in my generation, still hold doors, pull out chairs, open car doors etc so I don't see that as uniquely Korean. Perhaps it is for the 20/30 generation. So, yes, I have been influenced quite a bit by the culture, and that all started with one Kdrama. Hallyu is for real. I even follow the Tottenham Spurs these days to watch Captain Sonny (LOL). He is a quality human.

I think, as a Westener, people like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and movies like Karate Kid put Asian on the map. We all associate Asia with taekwando and martial arts. If you are into sports, you start to enjoy that sinario. Concerning kdrama, it's most definitely evident that it is much more conservative than Hollywood, and that's what draws some of us. Finding out about another culture is interesting most of us. Of course, tall men are beautiful. I married one without the intention of looking at a tall person because I'm quite short. A lot of kdrama topics are rather brutal, especially over real-life crime cases or sinarios. The law system and cultural issues are eye-opener. It's still a very culturally bound nation, which isn't a bad thing. Socio-economic issues are always interesting. You have a bit of appreciation for the things that might happen a bit better in your own culture or country. It seems like a really tough education system you have, social ranking, issues around having children, etc. The grass is never greener on the other side, but I prefer Western culture. ❤
I'm still a huge fan of Bruce Lee. I think we associate Korea with discipline and high standards. The majority of South Africans would love that because we are also very competative and driven. Concerning the looks topic, it's not bad, but sometimes a bit feminine, the flowerboy look. Perhaps it would appeal to the younger generations. And the make-up topic, it's not something we get used to easily! Pardon my honesty!
Men all over the world think they are a hot commodity! It's a man thing. 😂 I think men are the same all over the world. Men from the Netherlands are the tallest by Western standards. We have a lot of tall men in SA. My hubby is 1.88 but small next to other men. I think we have giants over here. My son is also quite tall, but amongst other Afrikaans men at Uni, he sais he's not tall at all... we're used to tall. It remains beautiful on any standard. My youngest doesn't need a perm, his hair is naturally very curley. Self care is wonderful. Most South-African men are rugged and they love their beards! There's different fashions over here... khaki, bush wear... 😅 Rugby, bear and Bushveld. Look I have to laugh.
Speaking out of the house, SA men are all mucho on the outside, manly, and burley, but they are like giant puppies at home, cry easily, and are open about their emotions. My hubby is a gentle giant and has been spoiling me for 27 years. They definitely dont want to look vulnerable to the outside world. I'm lucky to have a good husband, who is a good parent too. I can't speak for other people, but my life is pretty fine down here in the South of Africa.

As an American female, I think it depends on the kind of guy you go out with. The guys I've gone out with or date, they've always initiated paying for dinners, offer to carry items, open doors. I think the popularity of Korean men is largely due to Kpop and Kdramas. Yes, there are physical differences, but regular guys on the street don't look the same as actors, lol.

Thank you for saying that preferences can still be preferences without being fetishization. I have been attracted to Asian men since I first knew what it meant to have a crush. I've been in love with Eastern culture since childhood. Long before I ever listened to any K-pop or saw any kdramas. November 2023 was my first ever step into kdramas. I've only ever dated American men, but I've always had more of an attraction to androgynous men in general over the stereotypical American masculine men. And let's be honest, American culture is overrated and crumbling. As an American woman, I struggle with talking about it at times for the fear that people will consider it fetishization. I can't help my preferences and I know I shouldn't be hesitant to talk about them but I also want to be respectful to culture and to other people.

From when I first took a korean language class in university, as a Latino American, I was thrown off with how many girls were in my summer classes like 5 years ago. I didn’t know how popular kpop was at that time, to where like 95% of the class was taking beginner korean because they loved the male singers and dancers from these music videos. I still take language classes to this day, and yup, still have plenty of girls who really fantasize the male musicians.
It was the same when I visited Seoul for the first time as well (even on the plane ride, they showed videos on how to put on your air bag as a mask while male musicians showed you how to do it). I was surprised to see a lot of female travelers who were there mainly because they were fans of male music artists. And that’s the nature of music too obviously, which brings people together even if you don’t know the language.
But from where I am from, my korean american guy friends mostly just want to date within their own culture. I don’t really see them dating out from their own, like at all. And of course media will show the positives and ignore some negatives, and this is pretty much for all cultures. I’ve met korean Americans who were nice, some who were outright jerks, and some who were just indifferent about being friends; so basically, like all other guys.
A girl friend of mine who is korean american as well was telling me, as we shared ice cream, that she finds it crazy how the new craze pretty much uplifted the Korean culture to where more people appreciate it because when she was growing up, people have told her that they don’t know where south korea even is on a map.
So after noticing all this, I guess if south korea didn’t have the music and kdramas, there may have for sure been less interest in its culture and less travelers because most of the non-koreans I’ve met were definitely interested in the music and somewhat with the films. All just my experiences. And I got interested in the language mainly because of personal korean american friends from school and a famous linguist on RUclips who passed away, laoshu505000. I didn’t get into some of the music until well later due to my female friends liking it a lot and always talking about it in every language class 😂

I think the question of wether its a fetish is being answered in the comments. Lots of people who have watched Asian dramas thinking its an accurate depiction of regular people from those countries. Also, to address the comments about people being "more respectful" I think that's one of those things where it's kind of true but balanced out by other things. They're more traditionally conservative which comes with better outward manners, but that often means they might have different views on other topics at least compared to Euro-Americans.
Not to bash Korea but there's a reason they're 100 and more places down the list when it comes to gender equality and that's going to be reflected in relationships. In fact that's part of the fertility crisis issue if I'm not mistaken. So anyway, it just sounds like people are getting sucked in by media hype. People are people the world over. Barring physical attraction, it's probably not a good idea to idolise one group of men/women because they're individuals not stereotypes. But even more importantly, the media will never portray them accurately so you can't learn anything about them from TV shows. It reminds me of talking to my Chinese friends about British men (white guys of course) and how nothing they learned from TV was accurate.

I just got back from my 3 weeks trip to Seoul and....well...to be honest almost every day I would pass by some man I would find cute or atractive on the street or subway....The thing is...that ...it seems to me that Korean dudes know how to cary themselves, they know about fashion style and elegance....and how to take care of themselves....In my home country of Czech republic...if you see very handsome and elegant man....he is total exception...or....he is gay.:-D...most of the men here are very smeared and just ...all over the place when it comes to fashion for example.....so from my own personal point of view this is very different....Of course there is also toxic side to korean men as mentioned...and one random dude was trying to slide to my dm with the obvious question if I like hot and naughty korean boys.....well I just ignore him....and I stay away from places like Hongdae and Itaewon cause...well...it was not experience I would have to get :-D :-D :-D ...so I really loved my time there and even its just days I got back I already miss the town and its vide....I really hope to come back.

As a "professional" podcaster, she really needs to work to break that habit. I commented once and she got super-defensive so I just left the group. It was a well-intentioned comment but didn't land well. I have friends who are entertainers and when they start doing distracting mannerisms on their media feeds, I let them know, because I care. The bottom line for me is: am I sitting here to look at your hair or to hear what you have to say?

A very interesting topic for sure, especially if you look at it through the lens of global media. Many ethnic groups and genders within these groups have somewhat been fetishized - often due to global media circulation and the image and portrayals of these people. We often see it with black men and women being oversexualised due to stereotypes and their image in the media with the popularity or sexualisation of black bodies for example - black women often perceived as hypersexual and their bodies often being oversexualised in comparison to women of other ethnicities. You also see it with east and south east Asian women being infantilised by western media leading to people holding ordinary people to these standards which I believe can be very damaging and affect the dating experience's these women have with men outside of their cultural communities. For example - the classic old white man with a questionable face marrying an alarmingly younger Asian woman.
Depending on the reason for the preference people have for people outside of their ethnic groups can be both negative or positive depending on how you look at it. For example - "Korean men are gentlemen" - at first you can see this as "Oh, that's a nice thing to say. Obviously that's a good thing" but on the contrary it could lead to an increased pressure on Korean men to uphold these standards, some of which may be believed to be extremely unrealistic and not feasible to the average man (like being a chaebol successor haha). It also makes you thing "So are white, black and other Asian men not also gentlemen?" which of course isn't true but due to the portrayal of Korean men in the media and the hype of the Korean Wave/Hallyu - Korean men's "gentlemenness" will be hyper romanticised and idolised above those of other ethnic groups.
Anyway, that's my think piece haha thanks for reading if you made it to the end :). I'm a masters student conducting research on the influence Korean media has on the lifestyle choices, practices and standards of its non-Korean/foreign fans so this episode was really interesting to me :))))

What I can say about this K-wave on the top is that it's real in Brazil. Many k dramas and bands/songs being consumed, and men being seen in a good light. Something that didn't exist before. Maybe because we didn't have knowledge about the culture, the country, and the people themselves. We had little access. Today, with Netflix and social media, it's easier to create this wave of desire and even fantasy about Korean men. And yes. Seeing Korea through k drama and accessing through it a bit of the culture creates a lot of desire to know it personally. Speaking for myself I really want to go to Seoul soon. :) for everything and off course the food , ㅋㅋ.

Anna was stirring the pot this whole video 😂 You are each so funny.
I agree that Korean men will be desired as long as k-culture is rolling… The world population’s taste swings slowly on the pendulum of change, so I imagine this will continue for some time. As people recognize interesting and eye-catching things like kpop/kdrama/etc, they become popular and gain momentum. However, as these become more popular and are consumed at a massive scale, they eventually and gradually fall out of style. (I believe that we will see the pendulum of change swinging farther away from Western culture (maybe American culture specifically?) and towards other cultures, definitely including Korean.) Who knows what the future holds, but there are many wonderful aspects of Korean culture that have globally come to light that really attract people to it. Women aren’t accustomed to the ideal behavior of male leads in kdramas or kpop idols’ gentlemanliness on social media. Those good soft/boy vibes. I think it’s natural to want that, but some people absolutely go overboard with projecting their expectations on the average Korean person :/
    Boy, was this long-winded

The total package looks, personality, soft power, achievements.. things like that. however, I usually end up with someone totally different from the Korean men I find attractive. I think during Covid lockdown is when I personally started to watch k-dramas and also dramas from Turkey. It’s fun to experience something different through movies and RUclips than just focusing on what is mainstream here in US. The world really is full of beautiful cultures and people. ❤

The K-pop and K- drama let us discover Korea. The language is so nice. And the guys have hair on the head and not so much on their body. And many have such beautiful eyes. And I love that many are so shy. And they are not afraid to take care of themselves and dress i nice colours. And I feel with the occopation history, you have a simmilar mindset like Norway. We have also been occupied and under other countries. So I think Korea pops up like a positive star in a strange world of Asia. Before we mixed you with other asian, but when we learned more about you. I feel that you stand out positively to other asian countries. And I just discovered that it is a lot of good looking guys there. Before we have just seen grumpy or serious leaders. And for me the entertainement industry is the best in the world. And why has it been hidden for me? It was like discover wonderland. Love from Norway🇳🇴❤️

This was an excellent discussion. In my experience, almost every culture/ethnicity focuses on their own type until they have exposure to different cultures and ethnicities. Once their worldview is broadened, then they have the opportunity to see what is attractive or appealing about a different group of people. As a Westerner, my exposure was mainly to Chinese and Japanese people and culture so they were viewed as a bit "exotic" but Westerners could also see what what appealing about them as individual people. Now that the Internet has brought us all so close together, we get to interact, visit, etc. with people of almost every race and culture so more cultures are finding that they have a more global appeal than they ever thought. I don't think that Koreans were ever "nothing" but they just didn't get that much exposure in non-Asian countries until K-Pop and K-Dramas suddenly started getting so much traction in the entertainment industry. Now, anyone with an internet connection knows about Korea and their entertainment and fashion industry. I have only purchased Samsung televisions and phones for the past 20+ years but I did so because they had the best products and not because they are Korean brands. So, at the end of the day, it's about getting your "brand" out there in the marketplace, be it electronics or entertainers and the "marketplace" will decide if that is what appeals to them. I think all humans possess their own, personal, unique charms and being able to bring something culturally appealing just adds to a person's innate charms.

My take is, the biggest export a country can benefit from is pop culture. America did it well and i guess Korea is just doing the same. i also think korean culture will stay relevant. one thing i feel Korean culture is very unique in, is their brand. often when you think of asian people, people think of a certain stereo type. like cheep labor and cheep designer bags. but when people think of korea it´s diffrent. it´s very high fashion good food and beautiful people along with alot of talent. all the things that people all over the world admire.
but i think that unless kpop change and become maybe less manufactured the Hybe for that might fall. like the amount of kpop groups debuting is crazy to me. and it all seems like the same to me. the only one who looks apart and is unique is BTS.
and that has nothing to do with me being biased.
no one want more of the same movies they want diffrent things. so in 10 years or before when BTS retires the Hybe for kpop might not last, or it may be more normal and less appealing.
he labels has already talked about how the intrest has become more normal now and i heard even korean people dont love kpop the same way as they did in the past. now it´s more the easy listen songs that you can hear on the radio and ou dont need to sit and watch a MV. that is why i love BTS music they have music in every genre almost.
like when backstreet boys and spice girls was popular it was hybe with all the groups but them people got tired of it and liked solo singers more. and the hate about groups is still there kpop is just diffrent when it´s a more visual medium. but the dance and looks has become a bit boring people are complaining about how similar it all is. i see solo singers having a better chance in the future.

I live in USA , I got interested in Korea after watching boys over Flowers on Netflix. It wasn't about the actors that interested me, It was the Culture. The way the parents controlled their adult children. I started wondering if that was true. I never really got an answer to that. Do the rich parents set up blind dates for their children and force them to marry someone they don't love in order to make a good business connection? or is that just K drama stuff. i researched a lot about Korea on You tube. I never fantasized about dating anyone. I am old that would just be weird. LOL when I discovered BTS , I loved it. I loved the Insync dancing. I saw videos of how they practiced with the 8 count. My granddaughter was an all star cheerleader. Her team won many international competitions. Their dance portion was also Insync and they also used the 8 count when practicing.
Now that most of them are in the military, Enhyphen and TXT are getting popular in the States. i love to watch the dancing. I don't like it when they get too sexy like Love Shot. don't remember the groups name but i think the main dancers name is Kai? not sure . I have heard a lot of ghosting stories on You tube. One foreigner said she dated a Korean guy for 2 months before anything happened between them and he was gone the very next day ghosting her. Now that is ridiculous that seems more like a game to him. But there are Fboys aka Jerks here is the USA also and there are some gentlemen who will open the door for a lady , not many but there are some. There are a lot of new Korean Barbecue restaurants popping up where I live. i think Korea is going to continue to be popular for a long time. They compared BTS to the Beatles. Instead of the British Invasion it was the Korean Invasion.

00:36:17 This is pretty funny, I thought that I wouldn’t see that many good looking Korean guys when I came to Korea last year. I thought the popularity of Korean guys appearance was exaggerated because of kdramas so I had low expectations. Boy was I wrong lol. There are hot guys everywhere! I was quite shocked. I was wearing a mask most of the time which was handy because then nobody could see my jaw dropping all the time as I walked down the street. I don’t mean like models and idols - just nice looking men with nice features, dressed nicely, polite and well groomed. Yes taking care of your hair and skin to some extent makes a difference in how nice a guy looks, it’s common sense. Western guys mostly don’t make much effort even with grooming and manners so it’s refreshing to see guys like this in Korea. Koreans also have a certain look, bone structure and features that are kind of ‘Korean looking’ and very attractive. I can see why the women are so pretty, and I find ‘Korean looking’ Korean guys very attractive just from their features.

I grew up watching Chinese and Taiwanese dramas in the early 2000s, and only in the last few years got really into KDramas, and what confuses me is that yes, leading men in KDramas are really romantic and catered towards the female gaze, and I KNOW that doesn’t translate into “Korean men are more romantic” and the background toxicity really bothers me, but it’s like, okay. One of their biggest exports is displaying what women want in a partner over and over, so they know it, but they actively choose to NOT act that way besides up front. Like, it’s served on a platter and the men are like “nah…” lmao
There IS something attractive about a man who puts as much effort and care into his appearance as women all over the world are expected to. So that’s not so much as race thing as it is a culture thing.

There are of course general trends in cultures, as far as behavior but I still think you need to just see people as individuals. Even though something might be so common that it's become a stereotype, individual people can always differ from the norm and be quite unique. In my case, it's been my experience that in general, Korean people as a whole tend to be more kind and polite than my fellow Americans. There definitely are lots of very polite Americans, and I have run into a small number of rude Koreans, but just broadly that seems to be a thing. Doesn't mean there's a fetish or racist way of thinking - merely observation. If I had to guess, it maybe stems from the difference in Confucianism teaching 'group first' mentality, and western ideology being 'me first'.

Too many interesting themes discussed! 👏
Why is SK so exciting? Generally I think it’s because it’s an Asian country which is closest to the West as values. So Asians who glorify the West, like SK, the West seem to be able to understand SK easier.
I come from Southern Europe and the Kculture is closest to the culture I grew up with. Man is the responsible one. Full stop. Not saying the woman is not, but it’s more left to choice for her; the protection comes from the security that you can be yourself(to a degree!) I know I’m generalising, but for me this is the core of it, perceived strength. And I miss this in the West where I live. The care is missing, you are not “seen” in the same way.
For me personally - my dad used to have Asian features so I always liked tall, wide faced dark eyed men! 😂
I’m really curious how do you really feel about it - must be a bit scary? Uncomfortable?

I remember being a British kid and thinking Asian women were the most beautiful and magical creatures in the world. The women have always been fetishized and exotic, where the men were always seen as hard working and disciplined which when I was growing up was less of a sort after trait among the people older than me. Now it feels like Korea has that old school British/ American 1920s-1930s culture of style mixed with old school principles in the modern world and it's really counter culture to the rest of the world with the woke movement without being disrespectful of it.

i live in Europe and i have always been into asian guys especially guys from korea. I am 40 now so back then i didn´t even know about Korea i didn´t know there where a north and south. i thought it was a city in China hehe.
But i found out because my first boyfriend when i was 14 was a korean guy. i remember he was very gentle and sweet and had the most beautiful skin and eyes. my friends thought i was wierd asking me how i could find him attractive.
his name was Kim hehe because he was adobted so he knew nothing of Korea at all so i would say the Hype for Korean men has always been there for me. my mom was like me too she dated a Philippino guy for years before meeting my dad. and we are both white so it does excist but back then it was more a preference not a Hype. I could clearly see the difference between a Chinese guy and a Korean guy and i still can and i only been to the Philippines once, so idk how i can tell, i just can. it´s the eyes i like, the Jimin eyes😜 no double eyelids
I think i like the feminine/softer sides of asian men i have always liked guys with longer hair too. i would never fall for a macho man. so for me it´s not the behavior more the look that gets me. but i also love how the personality match what i see. Like it was the case for my ex too even if he was adopted he was kinder than all the other boys i met. now that i am older i would much more preferer the personality over the looks

First time watching the channel and I really enjoyed. Very informative and fun at the same time. I have been learning Japanese for a while and decided to learn Korean as well, and I think history and culture of both countries are very fascinating. I have plans to visit a female friend from Thailand that lives in Seoul late October, and as a person without social media, I have no idea of korean trends (funny to think korean men are one now :P) other than the skincare ones. As an expat it is always interesting to see other cultures getting more visibility other than just US lifestyle. Will definitely watch more videos and maybe start with a k-drama soon. Accepting recommendations.

Only a few seconds into the video. The answer to your 1st question is because some Korean men are fine asf. Especially the tall lean ones, like Lee Min Ho. K-drama actors have opened up a whole new world. But, I have seen some non-celebrity Korean men that are gorgeous as well. Maybe it’s because I’m a Gen-Xer, but my past bfs did all the things you said Korean guys do (open car door, carry your items, walk on the outside of the sidewalk, etc). A lot of Southern American men used to be this way. Guess the younger generation is different. P.S. I remember Jason from when he did videos with the dentist (his roommate).

The Korean wave is going to slow down. Because there's the Chinese wave coming up 😆 but seriously, these cultural waves do give us a great opportunity to learn more about the countries, cutures and people we wouldn't dare to learn otherwise. Even if it's just about pop culture, for some of us it might become a good motivation go learn more and go beyond what pop culture shows us, to see the world from a different perspective and to find something around us that we previously wouldn't pay attention to.

This will sound strange but I honestly never considered a Swedish man "beautiful", even though I had many attractive partners. I can't stand macho men. My ex husband looks like Robert Redford and he's ageing well too, but I was never very attracted to his looks, only his kind personality. And he was a properly equal caring hubby and father, cleaning and doing alot at home. (I was still the one wanting a divorce.) We are good friends and I hang out with his second wife and his family.
I find many Korean men unwordly beautiful. Their gentle manners, attractive faces and the fact that they are not afraid to be cute or feminine and move softly is very very attractive. Eye candy, definitely! If they become more equal in truth they will be even better. The hype is here to stay. When I "discovered" the Korean beauty it was like coming home, but I never dated a Korean.
I'm certainly obsessed with BTS and enjoy watching attractive men, not just from Korea but most parts of South East Asia, but dating is a whole other thing. I know a fantasy is a fantasy and I've had enough relationships (many). I'm done. 😅🤣
My pretty best friend is into ugly, macho Western men. She doesn't even find BTS attractive. 😳 Our preferences are sooo different. 🤣

I have always been attracted to tall men with dark eyes and hair but fell in love with, and married, a short, blue-eyed blonde man. Go figure! I think most women fall in love with the person that connects with their soul and looks come second. If I find them beautiful inside, then I find the outside beautiful as well. I find Asian and Latin men to be very attractive, as well as Middle Eastern Men. So, watching K-Dramas doesn't hurt my feelings at all.The women are lovely, as well. Not much of a K-Pop fan but that's because I am older and not so much into "Pop" music, of any kind. Still, I appreciate it for what it is and the choreography is excellent. Great fashion and production values, as well. Now, when I watch K-Dramas, I also notice different foods I want to try and if someone is drinking tea from a really cool looking cup in a cafe scene, I will track that down and buy it. (True story!) I also had to find a noodle press like Hyun Bin used in CLOY. I used to be a caterer so I am allowed to obsess over noodles and food. I will probably never find myself in Korea but I do hope, with all of my heart, that their love for all kinds of noodles is true and not just a vehicle for K-Dramas.

The thing with waves is that they come and go. And the reality check does not hit as hard anywhere else as it does in Korea, once you travel there as a foreigner which is not doing Koreans any favor. Quite the opposite.

I don’t know about Seoul but in Busan most people in my area (around a uni campus) dress pretty basic but it looks nice and put together. I think makeup and hair make a big difference in the outfit too lol I know hygiene and overall care of how you look are pretty important now but a lot of people in the US don’t have good hygiene 😅 so that might also be a part of the attraction of Korean men.
I personally think that focusing on race isn’t good but it’s becoming such a problem in all races anymore tbh, if your values don’t match and you only like them for their race or you exclude people just bc of their race…you should probably take a good look at yourself

I finally was able to watch the parts I missed yesterday. I believe there's will always be a mixture of fetishist and reality with a sprinkle of dululu. The attention Korean men are receiving now will last unless the relationship with the country changes.
I also agree 💯 with David about calling performance a fetishist. One last thing I didn't hear mentioned. Because Korean men have become popular, I find Korean men have become braver when approaching women, knowing that their are popular now. So my question to all 3 of you and your male friends. Do you feel more comfortable approaching foreign woman?

To the outro question about the hype and how long it will last... I think there was the intitial what you call hype because of the sudden realization to the Western world that Korea exists, for a lack of better description. I've dated Asian guys on an off over my adult life so for me, they are just men to me like any other man. Not suddenly appearing due to the K-wave. I think what you will see is a cool off of the delulu's over time, especially when their stans start having public relationships and start getting married, once the blinders are off to the delulu's that Kpop/Kdrama is a career and they are being sold the boyfriend/girlfriend image only, those will shift to the next thing. As for what it means for Korean's after that cool off is that the entire world will finally have a different look on them as a whole and they will just be a normal part of the melting pot we have here in America and abroad. I think Kpop/Kdrama are the catalyst for broad acceptance, which is a good thing and it's been far too long to come for Koreans and other Asian ethnicities.

  • @rmcfarren721
    @rmcfarren721 4 месяца назад

I think the main point here is that people are people and in any culture there are nice guys and not nice guys. K Dramas etc. have probably influenced many to consider Korean men more than in the past, but maybe it's just sparked a new interest for them. Maybe it's just something they didn't think of before and now they are more curious. Unfortunately, I do believe some do fall in the category of developing a fetish which could translate as an obsession.
