We generally don't let News Choppers (Hell, I don't even know of a UK News Company that actually owns a Helicopter) follow Pursuits, normally footage from the Chopper cam is handed in and aired unedited so the Pilot would actually be going "Nine Nine, he's now merging into the lefthand, that's the lefthand, lane, might possibly be thinking of leaving the Motorway and proceeding along the A4567", not "He's swerving all over the place...um....not quiiite sure what he plans to do nex-OH, GOD, HE'S CRASHED! We watch these videos & realize that, although they are the violent acts of dangerous people, these scenarios were less common than now. There aren’t enough hours in the day to show all of the domestic calls, robberies, mass shootings, hostage taking & arson we as a society experience now. Makes me think of the 90s as the good old days.

Just reminds me of the philosophy of the late 90's / Early 2000's. Overproduced, louder, bigger and better with absolutely no shame.
