It wouldn't surprise me if his son knew more than he led on. He may have been the driver of Wally's car. 🤷♀️ But at the end of the day... Jim was the one that poured cement, in his backyard, and covered up Wally's body, not his son.
Can’t people be attracted to a person that makes them feel comfortable? Able to feel like they can be themselves? Make you laugh? Make you feel happy regardless of how they look? Fool. What’s outrageous is the murders. Murder is way worse than having an affair and is not an appropriate “punishment” for having an affair nor is it karma. Get your priorities straight. Human romance can be fickle but there’s no excuse for killing.
This is probably my favorite episode. I believe this would also be a great movie. Like the other comment said. Just because it’s a good story. I’m sorry to the family for their loss. I was only a year old when this happened
When Jim said I didn't kill my X wife or previous wife and just called her by her name ''Sharon WIlliams'' you can tell he does not have any emotional connection to her. talking to her like a stranger he just known. During his term, Williams, 72, died from cancer in 2011.
So unfair this woman didn’t get life in prison, hoping the people judge, lawyer and everybody who gave only 18 months to this criminal woman got karma and something bad happened them to be unfair
This episode is one of those that I think about often. Walter Scott really seemed like a guy who was not only talented but had a bright future ahead of him. Even after watching this many times over the years, Peter Thomas’s last bit of dialogue on Walter always makes me sad. I don’t want people to think that I condone Walter for adultery but Joanne is the one that I despise. She knew for a fact that he was dead and still filed for divorce, in what I think is to try and make Walter look bad. Walter still looked and seemed like a decent and good guy. Not everyone is perfect in terms of romance. He really was a smooth ladies man though. I have no doubt that Jim was involved but I say Joanne was the ringleader in the whole thing. I bet she tried to convince Jim to kill his wife, Sharon, but Jim was reluctant. And later, when Jim and Sharon had an argument, Jim, in a moment of weakness, killed Sharon. I swear, when I watched this episode for the first time, I gave Joanne the middle finger when she walked out of the court house with the smug look on her face. That may seem really silly but her behavior and no sense of remorse just really gets under my skin. I’m one who believes in “It’s better to be convicted then not convicted at all” but this case still bothered me with Joanne’s behavior before and after Walter went missing. At least Kay and Walter Notheis are with their son now. Joanne and Jim can go to hell for the crap they’ve pulled. Joanne died in 2019. I don’t know the cause. RIP Walter Scott, Kay and Walter Notheis, Sharon Williams, those who’d known them that’d died in recent years, and Peter Thomas
@@muniama1 For real. I get a little tired when most people who think that just because you have an affair, that automatically means you deserve to die. Walter was a better person than Jim and Joanne combined.

I think it's Joane who shot Walter and Jim Williams was too cowardly to go against her so he helped her to cover up the murder. She could have driven Walter's car to the airport. Sharon's death could be a result of Jim Williams losing control of an argument in rage, he looks like a guy who uses brute force rather than brain. Crazy considering the lack of evidence having either one of Jon or Joanne commiting the actual murders that Jon would be the only one to face murder charges while Joanne would go virtually free. How'd Jon get back home after leaving his wifes car along the road? How'd he get back from the airport where he left Walters car? He hoofed it in the "dead of winter"? Not likely. So much wrong with this one. Little doubt that Jim and JoAnn were, between them, responsible for both murders. Can we all agree Peter Thomas was the GOAT of crime show narrating
Yessss. Last June 28th would have been his 100th birthday.
My top 3:
Robert Stack
Bill Kurtis
Peter Thomas
Very special voices.
Jeez so many people playing house with other people’s partners my head is spinning lol

Same applies for the guy
I feel so bad for Walter’s parents. Nobody should have to bury a child, no matter how old they are.
This is such a blast from the past for me. Spending my early 20s in the early 2000s watching true crime on A&E. I'm glad I found this channel!
I watch these videos in the background bc of the voice narration
- Walter Simon Nothesis Sr.(Walter Scott's Father),died on 15 Jan 2003 (aged 81)
- Catherine Marie “Kay” Johnson Notheis,(Walter Scott's Mother),died on 27 Jun 2022 (aged 98)
- James Howard Williams Sr.(the Murderer), died on 11 Sep 2011 (aged 72)
Thanks for the update even though not a happy one. I read somewhere back then that Jim Williams had died.
I tried to watch the new FF a few days ago. Without Peter Thomas its just not the same.
