Finally, someone put some padding on the bottom of the bag. I can't wait to get my hands on them. very beautiful and minimal-looking backpack with enough space.
I can't believe you've got me looking at camera backpack reviews! Turns out I actually really enjoyed it, particularly liked the pouchy-SSD thing and the removable camera padded insert. BTW, if I'm not mistaken that B-roll was taken in my old stomping grounds…
1st camera bag ever. Good size for my body and 3 lenses, holds my laptop, holds my flash at the top with my flash bracket, and it’s pretty stylish too. I can’t find that wallet though
Great review! Thank you for this. How has it held up so far? Reason I ask is that the zippers on my Advanced BeFree finally gave out after two years of EDC use. I LOVE the design and look of this one but am weary about the durability of its zippers and reinforcement in that area, even if they are YKK.
Hi, thanks for this. The bag is firmly on my radar thanks to your review - which I didn't find biased at all - which explained the pros you found, and gave sufficient detail on the product to prove valuable to my decision-making. It is a very smart-looking bag. My sole reservation concerns the camera "pouch" which I am not fond of, because I feel that I'd be stacking my gear horizontally and need to remove a lens or other component to get to what I really need. I noticed that this has a zipper on either end - does this mean it can be accessed from either side of the bag?
Thanks Michael, yes the bag can be accessed from either side. Additionally there is an internal pocket on one of the sides and a sort of tall elastic webbed pocket on the other side which are handy for bits and pieces you need but don’t want in with cameras and lenses.
Great review (overwiew). One favour I have to ask though before making the jump :) Can Anyone confirm if the laptop compartment on the 50/MEDIUM really can fit a 40x27x2.5cm (15,8x10, 6x1in) brick with sharp/rectangular corners? The bag is relatively new and everyone sticks to saying "15-16in", but in practice that's almost no inormation at all, and one never knows if tve manufacturer remembered about non-mac users (the sharp rectangular corners) :( Thanks in advance!
And so, just as expected, the manufacturer data has to be taken with a grain of salt. The laptop compartment may be 41x30, but if one is lucky (read: if one's laptop has rounded corners) one can maybe fit a 39x27.5x2.5cm machine in it. Anything bigger puts all too much strain on the zipper and the laptop. Other than that the backpack IS really well an elegantly made. BTW: The horizontal divider between the top compartment and the main compartment can also be remowed (it's velcro'ed in).
Seriously, Manfrotto, 1-2 cm more and you could brag you can fit a propper 17. 3" laptop. Just look how few others can and how ridiculously those bags look like. So close, so close...
Hi there. Nice presentation. Just 1 question pls. Wich size is the one you re prensenting in the video specially the one you had on ur shoulders. I m interested to have one.
The main compartment has the ‘extra bag’ which has its own zips. So that means if someone unzipped the side without you noticing they would have another set of zips inside to undo as well. Also the external zips of the main compartment on each side are towards you making them harder to unzip fully without being noticed. The top compartment is not super secure from that perspective. Although the above measures work they would make access slower for you, if I wanted more security but quick access I’d probably put the rain cover over the bag 🙌

Roly Osborne 😅 sorry about that! Yes indeed, stunning country, we only got to visit for a couple of days but it was amazing!
Hey I just wanted to point out that the smaller bag actually has strap loops on the side, so you can definitely treat it as a stand-alone bag!
Really really great video! Thank you!

A bag this size is supposed to carry a lot of weight, so its lack of a waist belt is its biggest flaw.

Does the bag has any anti-stealing design? This is a very important factor for me buying a camera bag.

What is anti stealing design? I think everything can be stolen...
i have a Nikon D750, a 50mm, and a Samyang 14mm 2.8, ALSO i will now purchase a Nikon 70-200 can this all fit in ?
Fantastic review! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Can I fit a eos r with a battery grip inside?
I think so, easily have a Canon RP in one at the moment and the size is very similar. Battery grip shouldn’t be a problem
Can I put the 16" MacBook in the laptop slot?
Hardly, it's for 15", but some 16" are actually 15" so will fit nicely.
