Loved the video, but one (very) minor mistake I personally tji l you made is Nevilles parents they were shown on a photograph in The Order of The Phoenix. They didn't have any lines and most of the scenes we meet them in are omitted, but they were shown in the movies just like professor Sinistra whom you choose to omit due to her on screen appearance but lack of lines. Just a small nitpick, in all I really enjoyed the video au usual. 😊
By your rules, you should have omitted Penelope Clearwater from this list. Very early in the second film, Nearly Headless Nick says hello to Percy and "Miss Clearwater". A very brief appearance, and only from the back, but that's as much as some others that were omitted.
The same goes for Charlie Weasley who appeared on the image of the newspaper article in the third film. Also Piers Polkis stood in the background of the fifth film when Dudley tried to bully Harry and had his gang with him.
Charlie is the worst omission in my opinion. Even though Bill does finally turn up in the 7th movie, it bothered me that they treated this as his introduction to the story. Peeves and Binns are the others that should have turned up at some point. They didn't do well with ghosts and other-worldly characters in the movies
i think regulus black was better off left out of the movies apart from the few mentions here and there as apart from first hearing of him in the order of the phoenix, we dont hear more about how he died until book 7. book 6 only mentioned a guess by lupin about how long he lasted before being killed. book 7 explained it via kreacher. apart from that, we dont hear anything more about regulus. he never appeared as a memory at all, the only times mentioned in the deathly hallows book of potentially seeing his character were the black family portrait (technically in order of the phoenix. next one is deathly hallows) and then again in a picture of the slytherin quidditch team while harry was searching the room. considering charlie had less screen time is really unfair and this may sound contradictory of me to say this, charlie should have gotten more screen time, regulus im sorry to say is better off being merely mentioned. bill deserved to appear in the series in the goblet of fire instead of first appearing in deathly hallows
Do you guys think the HBO reboot will include more characters and scenes that didn’t make it in the movie? Possibly even a more faithful adaptation maybe? Just curious.
Um, so no elves, ghosts of people noticed an 80 foot basilisk roaming the halls of the school? And what did Hagird do with Fluffy? Was Cedric buried of cremated? Has mermaid hair ever been used in wands? Or what about elf hair used in wands? Questions I need answers to.
most of those would be interesting to know... but about the basilisk ... it was using the plumbing to get around ... so hiding in the walls ... plus only a Parselmouth would have understood it [since as far as i know they're the only characters who speak Snake]
I just realized something that might not be on this list. It's heavily implied that Bertha Jorkins fetus became the Voldemort baby. ... Voldemort is now Bertha Jorkin's son. I don't think I realized that before, I was just so blinded by disgust.
In the books do you ever see the Longbottoms other than at St. Mungos? I thought they still portrayed the story of what happened to them decently enough in the movies
mostly no...other than a few kinda flashback mentions if you mean Neville's parents...we mostly get him a bunch more at Hogwarts and a few sort of mentions here and there of his grandmother
Video idea: How did Hermione, in the first film, know so much about magic and wizard folklore and history (knew spells perfectly and knew who many people were in the wizarding world, including harry), before having even gone through her first year at hogwarts?
“The definitive list of characters that aren’t shown AT ALL” “If they were shown in ANY capacity, they were omitted from this list.” Uses the Photo of Neville’s parents from the film while saying they were not shown at all in the film. I’m confused. Before anyone says anything, I am aware of the left out scenes with them, but he said, it was a list of those not shown at all, and any shown in any form were omitted. Yet he features the photo showing them lol.
Neville's parents were never seen in the books nor movies so their absence from a series where they'd literally only be mentioned in passing over and over counting them is pretty weird

I remember reading somewhere that Charlie Weasley asexual or gay, as fans speculated why Charlie seemed to not have girlfriends compared to his other brothers Fred, George and Ron for example.
Eileen Prince and Tobias Snape. Maybe not in person, but they should have been mentioned. Without their story people who only watched moves don't know how Snape made his nickname, and it's in the title, for crying out loud. But sixth movie is disaster and I'm really glad series is being remade. I don't know who cares more about awkward made-up romantic moments and prolonged shots of characters staring into nothing with omnious music in the background when they all shouldn't be aware that something's up than actual backstory of Voldemort and Harry's understanding of it, which was the point of that book.
Well - he's annoying in the books too so it fits, lol. I think that's the point though, he's obnoxious and always there doing something you don't want him to be doing.
I know they kept Peeves out, because he was making everyone laugh too much and it was hhard to concerntrate on anything. It was a shame that as he was my favourite character.

i can kind of see your point on the Gaunts but for ...some reason i remember a Neville Longbottom being mentioned in the movies .... 🤔🤔 been a while since i've seen them ...
@@Chrits55 I know they were mention but I’m pretty sure only in passing.
Penelope was technically included... but...yeah, I get your point.
I just wanna know why Peeves was never in any of them.. Even nearly headless Nick got in there, but not Peeves???
is it me, or was the audio slightly slowed in this video?
I will die mad we didnt see Peeves on screen.
It first here I realize the likely connection between zacharias smith and Helga Huffelpuff, cool
If I could only choose one of these they DEFINITELY shouldn’t have cut its regulus black.
No nigellus, peeves, prifessor bonns or garden gnomes? 😡
Is there really going to be a HP TV Show???
Charlie is the worst omission in my opinion. Even though Bill does finally turn up in the 7th movie, it bothered me that they treated this as his introduction to the story.
Peeves and Binns are the others that should have turned up at some point. They didn't do well with ghosts and other-worldly characters in the movies
Augusta was actually in the first movie for a frame! They casted her!
i think regulus black was better off left out of the movies apart from the few mentions here and there as apart from first hearing of him in the order of the phoenix, we dont hear more about how he died until book 7. book 6 only mentioned a guess by lupin about how long he lasted before being killed. book 7 explained it via kreacher. apart from that, we dont hear anything more about regulus. he never appeared as a memory at all, the only times mentioned in the deathly hallows book of potentially seeing his character were the black family portrait (technically in order of the phoenix. next one is deathly hallows) and then again in a picture of the slytherin quidditch team while harry was searching the room.
considering charlie had less screen time is really unfair and this may sound contradictory of me to say this, charlie should have gotten more screen time, regulus im sorry to say is better off being merely mentioned. bill deserved to appear in the series in the goblet of fire instead of first appearing in deathly hallows
Do you guys think the HBO reboot will include more characters and scenes that didn’t make it in the movie? Possibly even a more faithful adaptation maybe? Just curious.
Do you have a Cold? Sound a little stuffed up
Wasn't Piers also in the order of the phoenix? As a background character
657. Points. Julie. 😊🎉❤gryffindor women
I believe it was mentioned to be something along the line of her getting a bunch of books prior to going to hogwarts
Yes, and she read the History of Hogwarts and the first year spellbook before she took the train.
books cuh
Books dude, it’s pretty simple
in the first book Hermione says that she had learned all the set books by heart and did background reading.
“The definitive list of characters that aren’t shown AT ALL”
“If they were shown in ANY capacity, they were omitted from this list.”
Uses the Photo of Neville’s parents from the film while saying they were not shown at all in the film.

Some of these characters did appear. Either in passing or photos
Basically all the interesting characters from 4th and 6th film.
Alice and Frank Longbottom were featured MANY times in the movies
On pictures only, and barely even mentioned.
What Harry Potter TV show???
Peeves is annoying in the Hogwarts Legacy game
Well - he's annoying in the books too so it fits, lol. I think that's the point though, he's obnoxious and always there doing something you don't want him to be doing.
I can visualise Hepzibah Smith as if she was in the movie
Muh-Rōpe Gaunt. You wouldn't say Pen-ă-lōpe. It's muh-Rōpe Gaunt, not "Me-ro-pay."
Theodore Nott. I do not remember seeing him.
"IT'S MORFIN TIME!" (Someone had to say it).
Chris Columbus said that he cut peeves because they could never get the CGI quite right, and the character looked bad on film.
I hate the fact that what wasn't shown in the movies was shown in the videogames and online games.
Ginnys personality was also let out of the movies
I know they kept Peeves out, because he was making everyone laugh too much and it was hhard to concerntrate on anything. It was a shame that as he was my favourite character.
There are books too? 😁
From the start rangers
I'm 100% fine with Charlie never showing up in the movies
Winky?
