If you filter your light (if you’re using a ring light or spotlight) through a thin sheet or screen it will soften the lift and prevent reflections on plastic. I didn’t find the reflections distracting but if you’re interested in changing it that’s one option. 1:18

I genuinely feel like the original core dolls look a lot better than the refresh core dolls because they felt more organic. I feel like the refresh core dolls are Mattel pandering to the G1 stans that are constantly complaining about how different G3 is to G1 and how “bright and colorful” G3 is, as if monster high hasn’t always been bright and colorful, so it’s coming off super contrived and in our faces that they’re redoing them bc they hear the complaints

She’s a great doll but having her in person I wasn’t as excited as I was when I first saw the stock pics. I don’t know if it’s material of her outfit or what. Her pigtails were kind of messy under but taking the hat off to fix them makes it not stay on.
Love the lip though, please no more pink lips Mattel.

I saw the FNAF movie on October 27th. It was awesome because before the movie started people were playing the game on their phones. Plus someone played Markiplier’s first gameplay of FNAF.

Ngl she’s kinda plain but I appreciate that the designers are trying really hard to capture the g1 aesthetic. I feel like the quality went more towards the accessories than the doll but she’s still really cute. I personally really like the g3 pets much more than the g1 versions but I do think count fab being a shapeshifter is kinda weird. I just feel like the witch storyline is super unnecessary, and it makes me wonder if they’re even gonna bring back Casta since they’re leaning so heavily into the witch stuff with her. And I kinda don’t like that witches aren’t that monstery anymore, like Casta was super cool looking and all the witches in this gen are just boring humans now? Such a missed opportunity imo.

She’s so beautiful! I wished they just kept Count Fab a bat though , what made the g1 and g2 pets special was that they were different species of animals and plants (Chewlian). Cleo with Hissette (snake), Lagoona with Neptuna (fish), etc. there was more variety. I hope g3 would tone it down with all of the cats and dogs everywhere. 😳
