I think it's one of the few QTEs where its better if you fail it. Only because Majima can live through it.
Literally my favorite moment in the game.
Smile Venomously (0:29 Kiryu boss fight in RGG4/Y4) easily takes the cake, because it's the most audible sync out of all of these and that offbeat transition to the next epic guitar part only happens once in the entire track. Moreover, the punches are literally on beat with the offbeat sounds, it's all perfect.

Not just the punches, but also the visuals and even the QTE prompt itself. You could NOT get more perfect than that.
EDIT: EVEN SAEJIMA'S FOOTSTEPS, HIM PICKING KIRYU UP, AND THROWING HIM DOWN ARE IN SYNC IF YOU PAY ATTENTION.

The most magical thing about Yakuza, more than the mobs taking lethal strikes like a breeze, must be their clothes. Immune to blade, bullet and even fire damage at 1:08.
Yet so easily removable.
Self cleaning too. Never need a wash.
Granted the part kiryu was holding up wasnt on fire
Yakuza: The only series so good that the music can just fit in with what's happening without it being intentional programming, along with a great youtuber with enough free time and skill/luck on his side to get the sweet parts of the music to fit in the moments of the gameplay.

This has happened to me on multiple occasions for multiple games and it's damn well satisfying.
Whether a music sync is intentional or not, it’s always overly satisfying when you get one to happen, even more so when it’s unintentional!
The one at 0:30 is the perfect one in my opinion, and also the only one i've noticed in your walkthroughs.😅
Favourite one has to be the one right at the start where the first few punches of that Rush combo line up with the music just right, or the one from the Yuta fight.

Fighting system kinda got stale after sooooo many entries, some changes are indeed useful to keep the series fresh

Lol Yakuza 7 got tons of unintentional (or intentional) music syncs when performing an essence or skill move
We just discovered a new fighting style in the Yakuza series
If you plan on doing another one of these. The QTE during the first fight with Ryuji in the Japanese version of Yakuza Kiwami 2 fits perfectly. And the fight with Awano in between 5:13 - 5:47 in the english version of Yakuza 0 works good too.
So is the mission of all future comment section inhabitants to hunt down all perfect music syncs in these videos for another compilation?
Because I'm 100% down with that.

That Shibusawa music sync made me go 😳. But in all honesty, holy shit balls that was awesome.
Not gonna lie, when I play I get so focused on the "dodge, dodge, punch, punch, dodge" routine that I kind of zone out the music. So it's really cool watching it and being able to pay attention to it.
Most of them aren't synced only the Awano one, Saejima vs Kiryu, and Shibusawa vs Kiryu. Also 4:30 was the best one.
The final QTE from your Ryuji boss fight was well-synced with the music too.
seriously tho the 60fps just makes it so much better to watch tho.
Yakuza 6 and Kiwami 2 are 30fps, due to new engine only made for PS4, Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 1 are 60fps because they are originally PS3 game
Nothing beats the Jingu Kyohei one. The satisfaction is off the fucking charts when you landed that last ultimate brawler smack down on that bastards face and then there's the text 極 emerging right after.

I had a lot of music synchs in Yakuza series, unintentional or no, but I never thought I'd have one outside of those series

They sync the music intentionally during the Shibusawa fight when you transition to different parts of the ship and it's beautiful 😭 but I definitely agree they need to do it more

You know in some fights the music auto syncs for the most in QTE’s lets say yakuza 5 the final fight it auto syncs to the QTE’s you can maybe only hear it if you have listen to the original soundtrack sega has realesed

Looks like people don't realise most of these are QTEs and work like that on purpose, with the music subtly changing without you even noticing a change when you press the button
Most of them are not set on purpose, few are, like Shibusawa's. I don't include the ones that are pre-made in these compilations.
