No wonder Cintrees are so rare. John has bought them all!
Everytime I see Goldberger he shows insanely unique pieces and not once are they the same from the other videos. He never disappoints.
He's Gentleman with a Gentleman's taste, Period.
This man is a living legend and a true collector, only god knows how many piece unique or very limited watches he has in his collection! And also let's all remember when during a hodinkee interview he opened a very rare watch with a cheese knife, what a boss!

Impressed me as an elegant gentleman. I liked his calm. I sensed Wei appreciated it, too. Seemed like an uncle and nephew discussing a shared passion.

Wei Koh ACTUALLY let himself be interrupted by his interviewee twice in the video. That itself, IMHO, speaks to the weight of Mr. Goldberger much more than his amazing collection.
Saying this Wei Koh is so passionate about watches hence the reason he is so talkative and full of knowledge and enthusiasm. Don’t hold it against him. He is like a kid in a candy shop🤪
Goldberger isn't just a watch collector, he's basically a watch god.
Goldberger is the most badass person on the planet!
His collection is like a timeline of Cintree timepieces. It is like a Cintree museum in a box. Breathtaking collection.

First time I saw Mr Goldberger he open the case back of a 2M vintage Rolex with a knife, which he just whipped on his sports jacket sleeve. After that... He is up there, he is the boss.

Did you see the Hodinkee Friday Live where Ben showed that he had knife. He had the cafe mail it to him.

It is rather an accomplishment to know, in which year the timepieces were made. Because I guess, most timepieces from the case didn‘t have an invoice and documentation for the Cintree isn‘t as available as it is for other modells.

It has two full deck watch box, and we couldn't even get a full shot for all of his watch? All we get is a glimpse of a dozen of watches out of 36. You need to at least gives an overview shot of all of his watch, then go to it one by one. This way it would be more informative.

You realize that the movements of vintage cartiers of that time are made by JLC? Cartier has an extremely rich horological history. Including making the first men’s wristwatch.
