I have learned more from Trevor than my school days is the most compassionate human being who articulates and explains the questions that I personally did’t know, watching him on any show is become very compelling to me. powerful! there is no us and them, the more you separate yourself, the bigger the problem gets. even when you don't think you do, you do hold some prejudices so it is essential to take a good look at yourself.
    I could relate to the apartheid divide because Namibia, my country was also colonized by white South Africa causing the same divide not only along racial lines, but tribal as well. sadly the effects are still felt today because my fellow citizens identify themselves as a tribe before they identify themselves as Namibian and it's a very much present reality.
    I have always admired Trevor as a comedian, he always cracks me up and is so intelligent! now I admire him as a human being with good principles and values. may God always bless his soul. I have not read the book yet but now I most definitely will do so!

    Trevor means "wise" in celtic

    • @ajrwilde14
      @ajrwilde14 5 лет назад +2

      'Celtic' is not a language. The word Trevor is a Brythonic name meaning something like 'large village or settlement', the prefix Tre means settlement. There is a village in Wales, Britain, called Trevor. It was a surname then became a first name.

      @@B_Bodziak nobody knows exactly what celtic means, since it is not an agreed upon term, many things have been described as 'celtic' that are not related. However the word Trevor is a real word, it is a place in North Wales where I live so since the comment was false for the benefit of others I stated what the truth was, do you fear the truth-tellers??

    Few months back, by chance, I came to have a look on Trevor's show, I took it for granted. Usually, I hate to have look on present comedians, most of them are not comedians, rather jockers with a minimum sense of humor.
    But when, I started watching on Trevor's show, I really started relishing the real performance of a Total Comedian, which is a rear kind of sepsis.
    Hats off Trevor, You represent all the suppressed, who can easily make oppressors listen to their sufferings in a serious manner, not just as humor!!!!

Anyway it was hot I was thirsty. And there was a water fountain on the out side of the Building cool right! So I ran over being 7 years old. I started to get a drink of water! Nothing special about it it wasn't cold but it was wet. Then....... I feel my mom's hand reach around my arm and yank me away from the water fountain! I start to cry. And I start to knowtice a lot of mad white people around. Me and my folks..... yep there was a sign over th he fountain blacks only! 1973! Its the most scared I remember being as a kid!

    History has shown us if man can tell us inspiring stories which connects us human being, that shall resound not only to one or just part of a community, but to the world. Trevor Noah portrays some of the most beautiful statements of his childhood and these are not just words, these are real stories to most of us. That is what makes him the most beautiful human being as well. This guy is on his way to a Nobel Prize one day. If only I could impersonate Nelson Mandela just like Trevor do so beautifully right now, I would say this, "I've cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society, Trevor I want you to show the world that peace is the most powerful weapon of all, and also Trevor, i love your tshirts, they are so fancy"

    I need to correct Trevor regarding his claim that no one in Germany is minimizing the Holocaust.
    There are people here who say that the Holocaust never happen and there are people here, who think the Holocaust was a good thing. I don't know how many Germans are of either opinion, but those people do exist, unfortunately.

    Thanks Trevor for your honest truth about the race in all the places of oppression and the oppressors. It makes me sad how much i missed in my own life. But I survived just the way your mother survived.
