My considerable internet research has finally paid off and recognized with extremely good facts to exchange with my friends and the world. Medical Doctors and Dermatologists said (HSV 1&2, Herpes zosters) do not have a medical cure because the virus is capable of hiding within the human cells. it remains protected from your immune system. Herpes isn't an incurable virus! your immune system has the tools to fight it back. But because it is able to lay dormant in protected cells, your immune system is unable to remove it from your body. But with strong reactive herbal medication, it is capable of getting rid of the virus gradually and totally from your body without any side effects, natural herbs kill the virus totally not just reducing the outbreaks. I just got my test result today after 7 days of using the herbal Medication and it came out Negative to both HSV 1&2.im so delighted I recommend this to anyone suffering from herpes virus. You can get natural Herbal Medication from Dr. Aloha contact him through his email: Alohaherbalhome@gmail.com or WhatsApp +1(202)871-3222.

What is causing the issue and how can I fix it? PM - Cerave foaming cleanser, Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair, Neutrogena Hydro Boost cream, ROC Retinol Correxion eye cream.

korean toners are generally very hydrating as compared to western ones which are more drying. the tiam vita b5 toner particularly helped me repair my skin barrier (i suspect due to the vitamin b5 or panthenol) and my oily easily suffocated skin loves it so much. holy grail level for me forreals. ive been using it for abt a year now just to maintain barrier health (in addition to ceramide moisturizer ofc)

Yes! Great question. I want to do a Supergoop haul video b/c its such a popular brand and I have used many of their products. I do like their brand and some of the products I have tried. They are a bit expensive for the quantity so that is my main complaint. I LOVE a sunscreen that has Vit C in it. I have not tried the new one but will soon. It is a chemical sunscreen though and I tend to choose mineral options - just my personal preference.

Q- how to protect skin from visible light as sunscreen works only for uv rays but not for visible. Visible rays can cause aging but unfortunately I haven’t found anything that’ll protect me from it. I’m fanatic sunscreen user, I always layer antioxidant serum underneath my sunscreen. I've looked at 3 brands with adapalene; Acne Free, LaRoche-Posay and Differin. They all come in 2 sizes, either 15g/.529oz (labeled as .5oz) or 45g/1.587oz (labeled as 1.6 oz). What's confusing is sometimes they are titled differently when shopping online and since I don't know grams, I had to look it up. Additionally, Acne Free and LaRoche-Posay are both owned by L'Oreal and all three products have very similar, if not exact, ingredients. I'm going to assume any store brand is the same. I've found that Acne Free tends to be cheaper overall, but the only place I've seen the 45g is at Amazon where I recently purchased it for $16. While I've seen the Acne Free go as high as $22 (it seems to fluctuate a bit), Differin and LaRoche-Posay are around $30 for 45g.
I personally do some light physical exfoliation at night. I use a washcloth to dry my face after cleansing. I find that if I wet a corner of it, I can then go into my hairline and make sure there's no cleanser left there and then onto the rest of my face in gentle massaging circles.

Can you or have you done a video on creating a couple of skincare routines with The Ordinary products? Which products you think are worth using, which products work well together and how you would pair them.
It might be interesting to see a set of videos of trying to form a skincare routine with a single brand at a time (sort of a deep dive into brands)- even if perhaps at the end you think you would only actually use 1 or 2 products or bother with them at all.

So for the retinol eye creams. Is it safe to put them all over the eyes just like regular creams or should we still stay away a little bit from the eye openings and eye gland areas?

Can you do a video on people who can’t use retinol, please. I ended up with a chemical burn on my face after 3 weeks of use. My derm at the time said it was a build up , and yes I was using properly. My skin is very sensitive (when it wants to be) and I can’t tolerate retinol.

I've noticed in a few of your videos that you recommend the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair, but don't mention using it on your face. Is this product okay for your face, or should I stick to just the back of my hands and neck as you recommend? LOVE your videos, by the way, I've been on a deep dive all day and have learned so much. Thank you!

Thank you, for all your skin care information. I am 65 and was in the bad habit of just washing my face at night, and using any kind of moisturizer that I could easily find. Recently I noticed my skin in really bad shape, so using your “system”, I have already noticed a difference, in just a few weeks. It is a great feeling to now have the knowledge of what to use and why. My only question is do I use the vit c and the exfoliating facial cleanser EVERY DAY? (Vit C serum in the morning, I know.). Or do somedays, just use a mild cleanser?

Hey girl! I had a few questions I hope you could answer.
    1. Is it okay to put on something on my face before my morning mineral sunscreen? Examples: cetaphil lotion, neutrogena hydro-boost, or fractionated (liquid) coconut oil? I found that when I just put the zinc oxide sunscreen on by itself, it makes a film that’s more difficult to wash off at the end of the day, and it dries my skin a bit too much. Or is it bad because it would dilute the sunscreen? Just wondering what you recommend?
    2. What is the best regimen for wound care? I read somewhere that Neosporin is not recommended.
    3. I use OTC adapalene on my face when I go to sleep first. Would it be bad to put a moisturizer on top? Hydro-boost, etc?
Thank you so much for your help! I’m a subscriber and I love the channel!!!

I'm so glad I found your channel. Thank you for the helpful advice! I have a few questions: 1. Is micellar water okay for your skin? I've always been terrible about cleansing my face, and I recently discovered this product. Because of its simplicity its finally made me wash off my makeup and the grime from the day each night! Is this an okay substitute for an actual cleanser, or am I doing damage? 2. Is it okay to use expired moisturizers and/or expired sunscreens? 3. I'm interested in trying the Australian Gold mineral sunscreen you recommend, but I have heard this product is drying. I have extremely dry skin, do you think I would be okay with this or is there a better mineral sunscreen alternative that is budget friendly for dry skin? Thank you!

I think that the advice for looking for a mineral sunscreen instead of a chemical for those who has sensitive skin is right. Casually I've tried the one you mentioned for this but in my expirience it didn't go well even when my skin is not sensitive (normal sometimes tend to dry) the Australian gold botanical sunscreen (kids & tinted) time to time it burns my skin and eyes so bad and I think that's because it has a lot of plant extracts. I tried to layer it over another sunscreen and still burning a lot, anyway..really sad about it, they are budget friendly but the formula could be better.

Dr. Locke, thank you for all the wonderful content you put out. What are your thoughts on systemic versus topical vitamins for skincare, such as vitamin c and b complex? Are results better if ingested rather than applied topically?

    • @TheBudgetDermatologist
      @TheBudgetDermatologist  3 года назад +4

Great question! Vitamin C for skin improvement works better topically than orally. Collagen creams however might not work as well topically depending on their formulation. There is some evidence that taking a collagen supplement can improve skin and be anti aging. We need more research into these areas though!
