The ONLY way you need to know to change a Renault Clio 2008-2012 headlight bulb.

- After looking at the overcomplicated Haynes video and refusing to remove the whole front bumper and even some other quicker easier videos I found an even simpler way of changing the headlight bulbs. No need to remove anything at all, no tools needed, I removed the windscreen wash filler simply out of choice but again, you don’t have to.

I’m not a mechanic, I’m just a dude that would rather do something himself than pay over the odds to do it, and I learn mostly from RUclips. Yeah, I have quite small hands and can't get to the dipped bulb at all. I can't see the bulb with the cover off like that, there's too much of an angle. I can't even shine a light into the cover. I'm going to try taking the battery and fuse boxes out tomorrow though.
Acutally the most tricky part is getting the new bulb back in place after it's connected again.
Getting it out is the easy bit. As you say, getting it back in is when the swearing begins
What about the side lights in the headlight
You've proved that a thin camera phone can see the bulb not that a person can get at the bulbs.. Brilliant
@mrcottrell This video is to show you how to access the bulbs without taking the front bumper off. It’s still a fiddly job but all you need to do, as I said in the video, is pull out the light bulb fitting, take the bulb out, replace the bulb and then reinstall the fitment. You’ll need to wiggle it to get the bulb straight but it’s a lot easier than everyone else is saying on line.
I’ve changed the bulbs both sides of my Clio myself without removing anything. It’s a bit fiddly but not too difficult.
Can you access all the bulbs from there or just the main beams? Need to replace my dipped headlights
I think it's a dual filament bulb. One bulb to rule them all. H7.

We have projector model (halogen), and bulb sits way much more deeper than your car. It is very difficult to replace.
Went to one garage they wanted me to leave the car in and take off the whole front section,went to another place and this polish mechanic put his hand in changed it and charged me a tenner including the cost of the bulb
ANY ONE HAVE A MK3 CLIO O7 THAT LIGHTS UP WHEN YOU TURN THE WHEEL I NEED TO SORT THIS AS ITS DANGEROUS 😅
We buy any car £100 for scrap 🤣🤣🤣

Why don't they make it like Volvo. I have a clio,06 plate, and a Volvo, 08 plate. The Volvo takes 1 minute per headlight to change all the bulbs. The clio asks to be set on fire😂😂 reliable engines, overall reliable car, but Jesus, the bloody lights are driving me insane

Car designers should be fired for such a design of a car , why its not simple as for example by golf MK2 answer is simple, money for car service
They should be forced to own that car for 15 years
Many garages will not charge hourly labour on a bulb
