Thanks for your comments. I have already attempted to do just what you have suggested. The drone does not have a microphone on it and even if it did all you would hear were the 4 propellers going... However, in the video I made from Long Beach Washington I used a voice recorder and captured a few mintes of the waves crashing there and dubbed them over the done flight part. It took a bit more time to edit it so the volumes levels sounded right but I think it's a much more immersive effect. Let me know what you think. I would really appreciate your feed back. Thanks again for watching Andea.
I really appreciate you watching. I could not agree more... The Pacific Ocean is breath taking. We are heading back to Washington this summer for about 8 weeks and I'm hoping to make another ocean video from a little different location. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for commenting. The drone does not have a microphone because all you would hear would be the 4 propellers screaming. All my drone flights are silent. Any sound that you hear is dubbed into the video when I edit it. Putting the ocean sounds into a drone flight is a bit of video trickery. I have 2 other videos on the channel where I fly over ocean like that. In those videos I left the music out and just put in ocean sounds. This is done by putting my camera and mic close to the shore line and recording about 10 minutes of video...and sound. In those two videos I manipulated the ocean sound volume depending on how high I was off the water or how far away I was from the shoreline. If you want to check those out they are " Long beach Washington camping, and the other is Glamping in Florida". I would like your thoughts on how those efforts worked out and if you feel that makes it seem more realistic. Thanks again for your comment.
Thanks for watching Ben. I hope its as nice the day you visit as it was during my visit. I was born in Washington and really enjoy doing these videos around there. There are a number of others videos on the channel from Washington. Thanks again for watching... enjoy!
These beaches are wonderful. Anytime you can get by the ocean it's pretty darn nice. I like the fact you can drive on them. They are so big I don't know how else you could access it like you can... We are heading to Long beach Washington for a camping trip soon. Long Beach is a little way south of Ocean View... closer to the Washington and Oregon border. Looking forward to that. Yep , I'll be flying there as well. Thanks for watching.
I hope the weather works out for your beach visit. Take a kite, they are very easy to fly there... always a bit of wind. Have a great time. I wish I had a 1000 subscribers as well. It's a slow process. On Saturday I will be posting another Washington video I made during our visit there. It's a place called Satsop which is a closed nuclear power plant. Two cooling towers. It turned out to be a great day. I'll be putting it on my fb page as well as You Tube. Enjoy! Subscribe if you like... I'd be thrilled to have you along. 😎
I'm sure they do surf there but I don't recall seeing any that day. This summer we went to another Washington beach called Long Beach. That's to the south a bit. It's coming soon. Standby. Oh, I didn't see surfers there either. Sorry... Thanks for watching.
I know there are a few camp grounds just off the beach. We are heading there to camp in mid July. I'll let you know what I find... Thanks for watching...
Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed it. I would have to agree about the cloudy, rainy, cold, and windy part. I was born and raised in the northwest and have seem that as well. This day at the beach however turn out spot on! Sorry about letting the secret out.
This area is amazing and beautiful, I love seeing footage of it from a perspective from someone who doesn't live here. Next time you are in the area I highly advise Roosevelt Beach, the Jetty, Damon Point, and (if you can find an escort) Tahola.
@@heathermcbane5971Hey Heather, Thanks for the tip on places to visit. I will investigate them when we get back to our place in Florida. We are are here now for Christmas and new years and yes...it is very much rainy, cold, and windy. Next June I'll be back for the summer with all my video gear looking to find a new adventure. I have a few other videos of this area that I've made... the Olympic Forest, and Sat Sop Nuclear Power plant, as well Jarrell Cove. Hope you had a nice Christmas. Thanks for subscribing.
This was exactly what I wanted to see…fantastic, yes. Next time I would love to hear the ocean instead of music♥️

The Pacific Ocean will take your breath away.

Sorry to make you home sick. I hope you enjoyed it though. I've done a few thing from north west Washington. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for Sharing your visit to the Pacific Ocean. The Beach looked like my kind of Ocean front to spend the day 👍🚙

My company in California just bought 3k acres to build condos and apartments in Westport, ocean shores and ocean city. New California.
Sounds like a nice investment. Hope it all works out well. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Yeah, it would be very cold to surf there. Also I'm not sure the waves are big enough for good surfing.
Not too many guys or girls can surf... Maybe 2-3 out of every 100 guys can surf ..rest of us are paddling/missing waves/falling off a surfboard
@@michaelsuzio4364 Pretty much the people that grew up near the California and Hawaii beaches and places like that
Ya, that's the camp I`m in... falling off...
Is camping on the beach allowed there?

@@rideupsidevideoadventures3172 Thank you for the reply, We will be in there for the 4th of July.
Shhhhh....Stop telling people we are here. Also, we are just south of the rain forest so it is often cloudy, rainy, cold, and windy.

I want to hear and see Ocean Shores. I don’t want to hear voice yammering and music playing . I get enough of that day in and day out.
Send me your e-mail and I'll send you more ammo for your you Ocean Shores article.
