One of the many reasons why Japan should preserve their country and culture. And not let anyone ruin it. Thank God for their pride and nationalism. A very unique and incredible place⛩🌄❤️
The Japanese got cheesecake from the American occupation forces after the Second World War. Which is why Japanese word for it is their pronunciation of "cheesecake" and not an indigenous word. (Korea and Japan got other cakes - Castella - which is related to this from contact with Portugal)
This Chef is really fantastic clean, neat and tidy. It's extremely hard to find a great one like him. I hope people would learn a great sample from him. I have been looking someone whom could be able to do the job wonderful like him but found none. Wishing him a great future and hoping his Boss will reward his professionalism!!!
Seb Ian it should taste like egg specially with all the eggs used in it. They do not taste like cheese cake they taste a little eggy. I also did a soufflé that was called cheese cake and there wasn't any cheese on it! But taste eggy good 😊
Kawaii RBLX It's a cheesecake. It's supposed to have cream cheese. Just check out every Japanese cheesecake recipe and you'll see. It's just that there's significantly less amount of it in it. Cream cheese is already mild in flavor so a lot of eggs could overpower it. People who are used to American cheesecake probably won't be able to taste the cream cheese. I do love both styles just because I enjoy variety.
The KendamaKidsOFFICIAL and bro cheese cakes bro omg my favorite cake there just on a other level then normal cakes like the flavor in cheesecakes is so good. And for 6.85 for a whole cake omg I'd buy like 10!!

Hi Amber!! Never thought to send one to you .... this uncle is slowing-up a little. I'll definitely be back next year so no excuse then. Glad you liked the taste test!!
Thankyou - here is the English translation ... "Tadaima, cheese cake yakiagarimashita. Rikuro ojisan no yakitate fuwafuwa no cheese cake ikaga de shouka" ........that means "just now, cheese cakes are baked. Rikuro ojisan's fresh off the oven, fluffy cheese cake, please try this."

at 5:22 there's a kuroneko takyubin "宅急便" flag on the right... I'm not 100% sure but I think that means you could telephone them and they can arrange to have a cake delivered to you (anywhere in Japan, of course)
It really does taste more like 'egg' than 'cheese'. But holy cow, I'd be a liar if I said this wasn't absolutely delicious. And because of it's fluffiness, you can eat slice after slice after slice! It's great stuff.
but again where did i say japan was expensive? Australia ( where I am from) is very expensive 1 cake ( even JCC ) can cost upward of 20+AUD actually the cake I had for a birthday once cost over 40 AUD
I've never said that you said food in Japan is expensive. I meant to say 'who says it's expensive in Japan, with 6.85 aud for a cheese cake, it's cheap there' but I didn't type this long. Anyways.. I've been to Sydney, the seafood there is CHEAP! You should come to Vancouver, the seafood here is EXPENSIVE despite that it's by the sea!!

Cheezucackey, but the "u" sound is light. Other than "n", I think, Japanese have to finish words with an "a", "i", "e", "o" or "u". I don't really know what that is called in terms of grammar...
these are Japanese style cheesecakes, Japanese cheesecakes are very different to regular cheesecakes...Japanese cheesecakes have a much softer and fluffier texture compared to regular cheesecakes and they do not have that crust base at the bottom that regular cheesecakes typically have. Yo lo probé en Osaka y debo confesar que esta muy bueno, recomiendo dejarlo una noche en la heladera se concentra el sabor y la textura 😊
Omg! That's one of the most beautiful things I've seen.😢
A cheesecake that wobbles.
Tahera Mahmed 😂😂😂😂
Tahera Mahmed your comment is too cute
Unfortunately it just wobbles because it's a really big scrambled egg which is the taste you get. :(
Oh my gosh!!! They look so yummy I want to dive into them! Great job!!!
Thank you - I did a "taste test" and the cake was yummy - however it didn't taste like cheescake ... it had an egg flavour about it.
Seb Ian it's not supposed to taste like a cheese cake, I believe it's just called that because of its fluffy batter and airy cake.
Seb Ian it should taste like egg specially with all the eggs used in it. They do not taste like cheese cake they taste a little eggy. I also did a soufflé that was called cheese cake and there wasn't any cheese on it! But taste eggy good 😊
