    S1
The brat needs to learn now than as an adult with higher stakes. She needs to learn that if she doesn't care about others. No one won't care for her.
Ex-husband sucks. He does not love his daughter because he doesn't teach her morality and protect her from herself. Her nearing to adulthood is not an excuse to stop giving her directions and guidance, especially when she is going down a path towards the grave.

s1: You should just tell jacob about everything, if possible with evidence, so your daughter will know how it feels like to lose a great guy, and cheating has consequences.

S1: Well, this is a first for me hearing a parents POV watching their kid cheat on their partner. I guess she learned that from her father after her parents divorced, and didnt realize the consequences of her actions will blow up in her face in the future of her relationships if she still treats them this way.
I feel bad for Jacob, and OP should have told him so he breaks up with her instead of her teaching her a lesson of playing the cheating game. Keep it up OP, teach her some discipline the father couldn't teach her when he visits her. She is still not an adult yet and needs a good direction to stay away from the crappy path she would follow like her fathers being a pathetic person.

What a pathetic excuse. 18+ years of treating your kid like shit because she was traumatized as a kid. What a joke

Entiendo que esta situación debe ser difícil de manejar, pero es importante hablar con tu hija para entender sus razones y ayudarla a reflexionar. La comunicación abierta puede ser más efectiva que solo imponer castigos.

S2: I see the mother didn't have therapy, but it still doesn't excuse her from not needing to talk with her son about her past and the reason why she was neglecting him... open communication is key, and I hope she finally sees that with help.
