It is amazing how many people use those IKEA shoe storage cabinets for so many other things and in so many places because they don't take up too much space 😉. I am in love with that Ottoman...very chic and cozy 😍.

I used to keep all my filing and university work in a few :-) Have you thought about adding some simple interest by running a strip of thin plywood down each long side - you could stain it to match your kitchen counter and bring some natural elements to the plastic? You have one very happy doggo on his elevated throne at the end :-) Loved the curtain tutorial, instant hemming is a marvel for quick clothing repairs on unruly hems too. Wooow. So much more inviting to look out through the window also I can imagine. So much softer light also with the curtains. Overall, the interior follows from the living room into the kitchen more seamlessly I would say. The added colours in that nook may be the reason. What do you think?
